  1. The 13th Vessel has uncovered some interesting assets from Kingdom Hearts III while data mining it with other people. Below are some of our favorite picks! Assets from Scala ad Caelum included buildings and building parts, the coat of arms with the Master of Masters' Keyblade, a model of the "cable car", and a set of 15 books (numbered with an original numerals design) plus 5 others. A font texture from Daybreak Town was also found. It is interesting that Daybreak Town assets are included within Scala ad Caelum, as the castle from Daybreak Town is featured in the underwater sequence in Scala ad Caelum and the two worlds are somehow "connected" (as hinted by Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura). The posters that you can find around the world were also extracted, and some of them you can see in vivid detail. Written using an original alphabet, some of them also feature numbers that can be identified using the numeral system shown in the book set mentioned above. Amongst these posters, there is one featuring a black cat with a red ribbon, some regarding musical performances, and some featuring products such as shoes, flowers, restaurant dishes, maintenance tools, cow milk, a blueberry pie, a sewing machine, and a chair. It is interesting, to say the least! The 13th vessel has commented that while the Chess Room assets are also there, the textures of the models that belong to that room look "weird", that there is some type of door and a lot of interesting little models. He will attempt to enter the room once he acquires more data. The Verum Rex posters from Toy Box, along with the actual front and back of the game packaging, was also extracted. A deluxe edition of the game and a strategy guide are also available. "That's the story of the King of Truth", it says on the back, probably referring to Yozora, the game's main character. Can you read the rest of the text? Assets from The Mysterious Tower include the interior, a whiteboard with scribbles, the pages of a book, and content used in the maps that are inside the game. The 13th Vessel has also provided us with some assets from Disney Castle as it appears in Kingdom Hearts III (when Chip and Dale call Sora on the Gummiphone). Other locations such as Radiant Garden, Remy's restaurant, and Namine's room were also explored, and a model of apprentice Xehanort found. You can find the complete album of images below! It is worth noting that the data to be data mined is not complete and that more assets could soon be uncovered. For updates on The 13th Vessel's data mining projects, you can follow him on Twitter or visit his YouTube channel, where he also posts videos exploring the Kingdom Hearts games out-of-bounds. UPDATE [September 15, 2019] Some more KH3 assets have been datamined thanks to the efforts of The 13th Vessel, SpookyMajora and daemon1 from XeNTaX. First, we have the infamous chess room. It is quite surreal to see that room in such detail. Next, it seems that Nomura signed Baymax's update chip, judging from these zoom-ins. Apparently all of the 0.2 customization models are in the game which isn't too surprising considering that 0.2 was initially meant to be a prologue to KH3. So they're most likely just leftover assets. The 13th Vessel showed off these four. The skyboxes of several of the worlds were found, and they're truly beautiful. An odd texture from Scala ad Caelum labelled to a 'speaker' in KH3's game files has been datamined too. Lastly, we have a strange photo that was found in KH3's game files. Many are saying that it is a photo from inside one of Square Enix's business buildings. We also have a blurry shot of Daybreak Town with a strange blue artifact. According to Twitter user Keytotruth, who is another individual helping out with efforts such as these, it seems to be an HDR image used for testing image based lighting. Either way, it's quite an interesting find! Speaking of Keytotruth, he has shown off a couple of the Stations of Awakening in closer detail. First of which being the Station containing the Foreteller masks, and Sora's Station. The sheer amount of effort these individuals have gone through to comb KH3's files is commendable and I applaud them for it. Which asset do you find the most intriguing? For further updates on KH3's assets, be sure to follow Keytotruth, and The 13th Vessel. The 13th Vessel also posts out-of-bounds exploration videos of KH3's various worlds which I'm sure would compel most of you to check them out! [UPDATE [September 23, 2019] Even more assets have been found thanks to 13th Vessel. There are quite a variety of interesting assets to comb through here. One of the most intriguing ones is this magic circle which is either used during Donald's Zettflare, or during the final fight in Scala ad Caelum. This Monsters, Inc. keycard is also interesting since there is a fair amount of detail on it, such as the smudged print all over it, alongside the text. This seems like a map of sorts, so it could have possibly been used in the Port Royal world. This seems to either be a template, or earlier build of the Gummiphone. Either way, seeing that phone icon there is rather odd. One of the last truly enticing assets to me are these cards which are used during the Luxord fight. Seeing them in more detail is quite exciting. There were also other assets found which you can check out by visiting the "KH3 Ingame Assets" gallery album, here! Once again, thanks to 13th Vessel for these finds. You can follow him on twitter here. Which of these newly found assets do you find the most intriguing?

  3. We all know that Ventus is currently sleeping in the Castle Oblivion right? which is really The Land of Departure, Traverse Town, Daybreak Town, and Twilight Town in reality, or even possibly, a shared area of the overlapping parts of the aforementioned worlds (those worlds being in-between worlds). I mean his body is there, but his heart is still residing inside Sora’s heart. Someday, I know that, he will wake… but maybe, just maybe, it is not his first time sleeping there… It may even be his third time. And that is the main subject of this article. Reincarnation Theory We all know how Ventus closely resemble Gula–how he is rumored to be the reincarnation of Gula. But we also know how Ventus, as a Dandelion, appeared also in the age of the Master of Masters and Foretellers. Now how can this be? The clue may have been already present all along. The Old Mansion and Castle Oblivion In KHII, we have seen how the Old Mansion in Twilight Town is really connected to the Castle Oblivion. And here are the curious parts: there are symbols of unicorns/pegasus in that place, a very big fight seemed to have happened there a long time ago, and there is a sleeping pod in that place that shows a sign that it was used before by/for a person other than Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Gula & Ventus (Dandelion) In the KChi Back Cover, we are informed that when Ira, the unicorn Foreteller, discovered that Gula is the holder of the lost page, he searched for him. (Keep in mind that there is also this theory that the holder of the lost page is the traitor.) Now Gula might be the traitor or not, but if he really is Ventus, then maybe, Ira or some other character(s) got a hold of him, and, by some mysterious reason, erased his memories and turn him into Ventus (Dandelion). Speculation(s) We all know that Dandelions are the only ones chosen to survive. Maybe, by some mysterious reason/importance of Gula/Ventus’ survival, that/those person(s) did such thing. Maybe it is really about the X-blade. In any case, Gula might really be Ventus (Dandelion) who slept in C.O. for a while; he slept and lost his memories and woke up to be a new boy as a Dandelion. Ventus (Aqua and Terra’s Friend) Now, we also know that the Dandelions must have their memories erased. Maybe for X-blade again. Again the C.O. entered into action (probably). And thus we have Ventus as a boy, who again, lost his memories to be Aqua and Terra’s friend. The Fight Now there’s clearly a very destructive fight that transpired in the Old Mansion/C.O./Land of Departure. What happened or for what reason? A fight for Gula/Ventus? Who are the participants of such fight? These questions are pivotal yet still a mystery to us. Maybe my prior article is the answer or maybe not. Birth by Sleep: Nomura as a Reader of George MacDonald Like my first article, I will warn the reader that if he or she does not like things concerning religion especially Christianity, he or she is free to refrain at this point to read further. Now, Nomura might be a reader of George MacDonald. Here’s a thing: MacDonald is a master story/fairytale/Christian allegory writer who inspired other legendary writers (e.g. C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, G.K. Chesterton etc.). He is famous for his emphasis on waking by sleep.1 It is his way to emphasize Christ’s words about living by dying.2 Aside from this, MacDonald also emphasized the existence of other worlds and doors that lead to them. (See how MacDonald really influenced Lewis’ Narnia by his Faeryland.) Now, I believe that if Ventus did not fallen into sleep and resided in Sora’s heart, the world of KH might be in worse state now–the birth of a new keyblade wielder by his sleep crushed the prior attempts of Xehanort. Come to think of it, Ventus’ sleep and Sora’s awakening as a keyblade wielder is kind of similar to Sora’s death (being a heartless) that gave a new life to a Nobody (Roxas). Without Roxas, the world might be in a worse state during the time Sora was still asleep. Now, think about this: why does the room where Ventus is currently sleeping called as the “Chamber of Waking”? Because sleep will later on give way to waking. The hurting will be healed. As true as the evening will give way to a new dawn. Disclaimer: Again I apologize for spelling mistake(s) or grammatical error(s) if there is/are. 1. Lilith 2. Philippians 1:21; John 12:24
  4. The abandoned mansion is probably the most interesting thing in Twilight Town. I wanna know what unicorn obsessed person once lived there (I leveled Roxas from 10-20 in the mansion in my most recent KH2 playthrough so I noticed shit, there are freaking unicorns everywhere!).
  5. Ok guys, I have this crazy theory for all you, the fans of KH. HEAVY SPOILERS IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE STORY OF KINGDOM HEARTS CHI SO FAR... Ok, so I have the theory that there is another character we haven't see yet. Think of this, we know right know that there are five foretellers, apprentices of the Master of Masters, and those masters are named by each of the seven deadly sins: GULA- GLUTTONY AVA-GREED ACED-SLOTH IRA-WRATH INVY-ENVY But, in the latest story update for the game, we know that there is another "apprentice", the sin of Lust: Luxu. Ok, so this makes six of the seven sin, but what about the seventh? The sin of Pride? I mean, come on guys, Papa Nomura is one of the most creative persons we know, do you really think that he put only six of the seven sins? I don't think so, in fact, I think there is another "Apprentice" Let me explain myself. As far as we know, Luxu isn't a Foreteller, because the Master of Masters didn't name him as one; despite this Luxu is an apprentice, like the other foretellers. In the last update, Luxu explained to Ava that his mission was, and quote: "to move forward to the future written about in those tomes. Watch this world end, and then set off" He said "Watch", but instead Ava thought that Luxu it's the traitor, the one that the Foretellers were afraid of, because he will help the darkness prevail, so the video makes us think this too. But it's not like that. The Master of Masters knew that the Keyblade War was inevitable, it needs to happen. We know because Luxu told this to Ava. Luxu also knows that the end of the world is coming. And it has already begun. Keybladewielders turned into heartless and a nightmare Chirity are proof of that. But Luxu isn't the responsible of this, his only mission it's TO WATCH, TO SEE DAYBREAK TOWN FALL AND THE BEGINNING OF THE KEYBLADE WAR, and then move foward, to accomplish his "other" objective. So, with this facts I can tell that he is not the traitor. I know there are theories about Gula or Aced being the traitor, but if I'm correct with the deadly sins naming, there is this other "apprentice", the one who shall be named by the sin of Pride. So, why Chirity told us that there were only six apprentices? Easy, this seventh apprentice was the black sheep of the flock. The one who was seduced by the power of darkness. We see it in the way the Foretellers act, they are afraid of the darkness, they are so desperate to gather Lux to repel the darkness, they are fighting themselves because of it. Couldn't be possible that the Master of Masters felt the same way but with his seventh pupil? So that makes him the "traitor" doesn't it? You still could say that Luxu is the traitor, but I bet you that he is the Master of Xehanort and Eraqus. I think this seventh apprentice is the one who make Xehanort get interested in the keyblade war. I think he's going to be the real final boss that we are going to face in KH3, or at least the secret boss. But also, there's a hidden clue that someone from the past could appear in the third installment. If you didn't know, it looks like the old mansion in Twilight Town is property of Master Ira, the leader of the Unicornis Union. Let's say this is true. In the basement, specifically in the hallway right before the room where Sore awakened, the very first pod on the left, right beside the chest where is the ultima recipe, there's a message that says: "this one was used recently" or something very close to that. But we know that specific one isn't one of the pods where Donald and Goofy were sleeping, their pods are closer to the room of Sora's pod, and this other one it's the only that was "recently used" If it's true that this mansion was Ira's, could be possible that someone from the distant past slept all this time to be awaken for the next keyblade war? Could it be Ephemera? Skuld? Or maybe the seventh apprentice? Remember guys, this is only a theory. I could be right, i could be wrong, but I would to hear you thoughts about this.

  7. Before people say the obvious that Twilight Town and Destiny Islands can't be located in the same world due to one being in the realm of light and the other in the realm inbetween, hear me out- whilst this is unlikely there is a possibility this might have some truth. I'll split this Into 2 sections- firstly the worlds as a whole; secondly in terms of character relations and links to to symbolism. 1) let's start of with Destiny Islands- in a playable function we only play on what I will dub the ' small Island' where we have the mysterious cave etc. However that is not the only section of the island in fact we have a ' main island' where we know they have housing; an education system and a sort of governance hinted at when Kairi is said to be staying at the Mayor's house. Politics aside this is where things start to come into place, outside of the village area we see a mountain/volcano in the distance. Moving on to Twilight Town; again we only see a snip bit of the overall world and from the clock tower we see a huge viewpoint of the town ( including areas of the town we haven't seen; a vast woodland area) and the return of a mountain. Now here's the semi interesting part, if you observe the cutscenes where the mountain is visible from both Destiny Islands and Twilight Town you'll notice they are parallel to each other- meaning that if it is the same mountain then it would make sense it being the same due to how it is viewed from either world). Before people think this is a geography lesson bare with me a little bit longer please 2) Destiny Islands as people know is the home world of SRK and even Master Xehanort; I'm specifically focusing on Sora here in relation to the symbolism element. If you take Sora as the symbol of light and thus dub the islands as the 'light' then let's consider Twilight Town. The birthplace of Roxas and Sora's nobody, where there is light there is always a shadow cast so it makes sense for worlds follow suit. Back to the mountain ( sorry) if you understand the concept that the symbolism between the world's could relate to Sora's heart, then consider the Mountain to be Sora's heart ( well symbolically) in that case like Roxas resides on other side of Sora's heart, then Twilight Town resides on the other side of the Islands. Also you would then have a constant connection between Sora and the worlds he shares a connection with. In the case of Destiny Islands and the light ( Riku and Kairi) and in the case of twilight town ( Roxas; Xion and Namine). Another add on is Sora's translation as ' Sky', now it might well be plausible that both worlds share the same ' sky' ( symbolic to Sora's heart) and instead of being separate worlds might be one of the same.
  8. So recently while playing my Critical Level 1 game mode which I had completed last night ^w^ I used the Twilight Town Mansion to level Sora's Final Form up a little and for some reason I felt like the mansion was worth taking a look at in a little bit of detail. One of the first things I had checked were the painting which I found many of them were hard to make out, except for one that looked very very much like the Tea Party Garden from Kingdom Hearts 1 in Wonderland. It's made me wonder if the other painting may be other places from different worlds and if whoever owned the mansion before had traveled to these worlds themselves. Also, sorry about the image of the painting for some reason it's been flipped around ;;
  9. What happened to the hole in Twilight Town? You'll notice in the screenshot it's been fixed, but why? Is the old mansion still accessible?
  10. Now that Ive seen the E3 trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 Im so impressed and blown away with the new footage that was shown like ahhh, oh my god . Remember when I used to say that many KH games world's didn't feel like actual worlds. Square you made my wish come freaking true. The worlds that was seen in the trailer was BEAUTIFULLY REALISTIC AND LOOKED LIKE REAL WORLDS WITH ENVIRONMENT. THERE'S A TANGLED WORLD AND THAT WORLD LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE THE WORLD FROM THE MOVIE. TWILIGHT TOWN WAS A HUGE IMPROVEMENT AND LOOKED SO FRESH. AND ALSO I THINK THAT WORLD WHERE SORA FIGHTING THE TITAN WAS FROM HERCULES. AND LET'S NOT FORGET THE AWESOME COMBAT STYLE SUMMONS MAD HATTER'S TEA CUP RIDE, PEGASUS RIDE, CAPTAIN HOOK'S SHIP AND BIG THUNDER MOUNTAIN. FLOWMOTION IS BACK ALONG WITH THESE TRANSFORMING KEYBLADE GUNS. THE LOOKS OF YOUNG MASTER XEHANORT AND YOUNG MASTER ERAQUS WAS AWESOME. SORA'S NEW DESIGN LOOKS IMPRESSIVE AND I LIKED IT, IT MAKES HIM LOOK OLDER AND MATURE I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH HIS NEW OUTFIT I WILL SURELY GET USED TO IT IN NO TIME. AND HERE'S SOME AWESOME SCREENSHOTS IM DYING OF JOY
  11. Secret Bosses For Kingdom Hearts 3 Secret bosses have been a major staple within the Kingdom Hearts series and Kingdom Hearts 3 will be no different. Just like everything else about Kingdom Hearts, people are buzzing with ideas as to who should have the title of “secret boss”. After all, they are considered as the most difficult bosses of the game. So, here are my personal considerations for secret bosses just for Kingdom Hearts 3. Kefka (Final Fantasy 6) {Twilight Town/Cable Town} Kefka is the second most infamously famous antagonist of the Final Fantasy series only behind Sephiroth. As fantastic of a villain Kefka was: it was the Dissidia Final Fantasy series that literally gave voice to this character and ever since that debut, Final Fantasy fans have been completely amazed by Kefka’s multi-personality of insane and completely hilarious. Kefka now deserves to shine in the Kingdom Hearts series replacing Sephiroth as a dangerously powerful secret boss who is able to use a versatile of magical and physical attacks. I believe that he should be fought in Twilight Town because the sunrise and festive colour pallet of the town suits a joker like Kefka absolutely perfectly. Whether “Final Fantasy 6 Terra” should get involved with Kefka is completely up to the developers. Gilgamesh (Final Fantasy) {Destiny Islands} Gilgamesh is a very unique character in the Final Fantasy series. His speciality is that this very being is the only character to appear in more than one final fantasy after his debut from Final Fantasy 5 (excluding the Dissidia series). His speciality is being a sword collector and what better sword to collect than The Keyblade. The scenario could be Gilgamesh traveling as he usually does and then stumbles upon Sora. Being fascinated by the Keyblade, he’d tell Sora to battle him at an area of Destiny Islands. You battle him there (alone) and if you were to defeat him then there probably would be a scenario of him fleeing through a portal. I chose Destiny Islands for this secret boss because this would probably be a far more carefree battle than the other secret bosses mentioned. Garland (Final Fantasy 1) {Game Central Station} Unlike the previous Final Fantasy secret bosses that were mentioned, this secret boss will be entirely faithful to his original roots. Why you wonder? Because in Game Central Station (the world of Wreck-It Ralph), the place where you would end up battling him would be the same location as where you would battle him in his original game. I chose Game Central Station in particular because this is the very first Final Fantasy antagonist and seeing as Wreck-It Ralph is all about video games – this is the perfect tribute (of sorts) for the Final Fantasy franchise within Kingdom Hearts. Garland’s attire and battle style would obviously match that of his Dissidia appearance as that is the most memorable 3D appearance of him and his scenario with Sora… Square Enix can think of that stuff. Ultimecia (Final Fantasy 8) {???} You may think that Ultimecia is a suggestion completely out of the blue but she has far more relevance as a secret boss than all of the other Final Fantasy characters mentioned. As knowledgeable Kingdom Hearts fans are aware, Xehanort in his youth is able to time travel. So, it makes more than complete sense to place Ultimecia into Kingdom Hearts 3 as a secret boss to fit into that theme. People can already imagine Leon really getting involved in the cutscenes that feature Ultimecia which is another reason as to why she would be suited for Kingdom Hearts 3. Although, Square Enix would have to completely re-design her attire if she was to be suitable for a Disney game but if that gets sorted then it would be fantastic to go against another time-traveller! The Headless Horseman (The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad) {Radiant Garden} Now we move away from the Final Fantasy cameos and onto the Disney cameos. The Headless Horseman is the first Disney property that sprung into my mind when I thought of a secret boss. He has all the ingredients worthy of the title. He was from a feature that barely many people from the modern day know about (just like Julius from KH3D), him and his horse look very menacing and he has the theme of darkness cloaked all over him. I decided that Radiant Garden was the best location for him to be based upon because that world in particular is very royal, traditional and spaced out. The particular location in which The Headless Horseman is battled at in Radiant Garden would either be a secluded area outside or an entirely new area. If this happened, it would be very memorable! Queen Narissa (Enchanted) {The World That Never Was} Now, Enchanted is one of those worlds which would not be able to fit into Kingdom Hearts because the plot involves two worlds intertwining with each other. Alongside this, the plot of the original movie would be far too convoluted for the game. The main antagonist is an exception to this though as she is a mixture of The Evil Queen, Lady Tremaine and Maleficent and her final form is far too cool and unique to be forgotten about which is why she deserve the honour of being a secret boss. I chose The World That Never Was because the scenery is most equivalent to the movie she transforms in. She would make her stay at a new area and would want to get rid of The Princesses of Heart so she can be the fairest woman. You battle her and once it is over, you slay her and she’s gone for good. Ghostly Rhinoceros (James and The Giant Peach) {Realm Of Darkness} If you thought that Julius from The Runaway Brain short was absurd then wait till you see this antagonist. The ghostly rhinoceros is a villain from Disney's adaptation James and The Giant Peach. Just like Queen Narissa, his world translates into Kingdom Hearts terribly, however, placing him in the realm of darkness would be perfect. Why? because he is a manifestation of Darkness. Sora, Donald and Goofy/Aqua or one of the other protagonists may encounter him as an enemy who is trying to ram them down (as angry Rhinoceroses do). Because the Ghostly Rhinoceros is formed of dark clouds, they can be really creative and make him difficult by having random thunderstorms being struck down as attacks, or alternatively, make him like dark hide and have a first person perspective battle! The New Primary Antagonist A majority of the Kingdom Hearts games tend to foreshadow a Secret Boss that is the next major antagonist after the game that they are debuted in. Examples of this would be Xemnas from Kingdom Hearts Final Mix being the primary antagonist for Kingdom Hearts 2 and Young Master Xehanort from Birth By Sleep being the primary antagonist for Dream Drop Distance. Kingdom Hearts 3 is bound to give us a reveal of the next big antagonist for the Kingdom Hearts series and out all of the suggestions that I have given; this is an extremely realistic guarantee to happen because Kingdom Hearts 3 will conclude the Xehanort Saga and this boss can start off events for the new KH. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this very extensive article. I really dug creates as an avid Disney fan to see what valuable characters was worthwhile to be placed within Kingdom Hearts 3. Obviously, it is up to the developers entirely to decide what characters should be placed within the next Kingdom Hearts series as bosses but hopefully one on this list will be rendered just for KH3.
  12. So, as we all (should) know, in the KH3 teaser trailer, Sora was seen back in Twilight Town, being attacked by a swarm of heartless. Many people have thought that Twilight Town's story was pretty much wrapped up, but for some reason multiple trailers have depicted it. So, the question is: Why the hell are we back here? Well, I have two theories: 1) The Old Mansion. When we look back to the first trailer, the place where Sora is fighting the heartless is right next to the hole in the wall that leads to the Old Mansion. Now, I'm not sure why, but it might have to do with the memory pods, that's the only big reason I can think of for going back there. Now, if we're sticking to the memory pod thing, the reason they would be going back would be to restore someone's memories. Who's? Well, I think it could maybe be some of the members of the new Organization, such as Terra and Saix. It isn't confirmed that anyone norted would lose their memories, like Riku for example he was ansemed/norted, but that only affected his behavior, and his eyes weren't turned to gold until his battle with Roxas, where he turned into Ansem, but retained his memories. Then again, he wasn't personally norted by Xehanort. 2) The Key to Return Hearts Ok, this is more of an obvious one, they're either looking for the key to return hearts, or the key to return hearts is there. Now, you're probably asking "why would the key to return hearts be there of all places?" Well, honestly this is a really loose theory, but if you look at Twilight Town's name, you'll surely see the word 'Twilight'. I'm thinking the key to return hearts is neither light nor dark, although I do not have evidence of this. So what's both light and dark? Dawn, dusk, and twilight. Now the reason I'm saying twilight is because dawn and dusk both have their primaries. Dawn being light, and dusk being darkness. Twilight (I think) is an equal amount. So, if this is true and the key to return hearts is neither light or dark, would it make sense if it was in twilight town? Well that's just a theory, A GAM- Hahah, thought I was rip off game theory, didn't you?
  13. Something I've noticed about DAYS, KH II, and the KH II manga is it doesn't seem to be able to pick a design for the clocktower. In KH II, the area the group meets is flat, just a surface that leads outward, and they hang their feet over the side while sitting on the flat area. In DAYS, there's a ledge, about a foot higher than the flat area, and the group sits on the ledge, which is wide enough for Xion to walk on (and fall off of). In the KH II manga, same thing: flat area, no ledge. Why the sudden change in architecture? Was the ledge removed before KH II? Just something to think about.
  14. You better sit down for this one, because I think I've hit something! *Unfortunately, I am unable to post screenshots, but just watch any Old Mansion gameplays and you'll see EXACTLY what I'm talkling about.*It seems the "Old Mansion" in Twilight Town may be older than we previously imagined....So old in fact, that it could have been the home or workplaces of one of the ancient Foretellers, Unicornis. Don't believe me? See for yourself....(1.) When you first open the gate there is a small courtyard that has a series of six pillars. All of them are destroyed except for two: one in the far back that cannot be identified, and the first pillar. Guess whose animal is on the first pillar? Unicorn's. OHHH..... but it doesn't stop there.(2.) Enter the mansion, and you will come to the lobby. There are two large unicorn statues there, as well as two large unicorn heads above the doorframe.(3.) Enter the dining room, and there are 5 chairs. How many Foretellers are there? 5. When you examine the table, Sora says that only a large blast could have done this. Hm......do you think that someone could have walked in on the Foreteller's meeting and got angry that they weren't invited? Also, you will see a unicorn head hanging on one of the walls,and about 4 empty spaces on the other walls where heads were once hanging. (6.) Walk into the library, and there is a large unicorn head statue inside one of the bookcases.Indeed its all just speculation, but it's still a rather strange coincidence. And like I've said before....there are very rarely coinsidences in this game....everything seems to happen for a reason. Does Unicornis' pillar still standing mean that he escaped whoever's wrath destroyed that place? Or did he cause the damage himself? What does that say for the other destroyed pillars? Who does the mysterious pillar standing in the back belong to? The mysterious Sixth?Seriously, I could see if it was something common like lions or something, but Unicorns?? And all over the place? Pence was right, something is strange about this house.....something terrible went down, and there may only be two people in the entire universe who know what. But where are they??
  15. Hello Kh13.com! My name is Aaron! I am entering this topic fpr the chance to win the new localized volume four manga of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. For my story I want to let each and every one of you know this is my first tome doing this, I have never really written a fan-fiction of my own before. I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to read this, and I respect everyone's opinions on this, whether or not they are negative or positive. This story will be an attempt to portray the story of Larxene (who I interpret as Arlene) and Marluxia (using the interpretation of the name Lumaria) when they were human while also incorporating characters from certain Final Fantasy games such as "Final Fantasy X" and "Final Fantasy XIII". A Salty yet Sweet Truth By Aaron Reynolds Prior to the events of "Birth by Sleep", in the Radiant Garden castle of which Ansem The Wise resides, Even is put in charge of caring for young Ienzo who can barely form a sentence due to loss. It is in those feelings of loss that he attracts certain unwanted attention to the castle grounds. Aeleus and Dilan try to resolve the matter by defeating many unversed but to no avail as they seem to keep coming back. Ansem summons Even to discuss the matter at hand. Master Ansem: Even! May I speak with you? Even: Why yes Master! How may I be of assistance? Master Ansem: It has been two weeks since Ienzo has joined us. I fear we may never discover his origins, nor the locations of his dear parents. In time he may begin to wonder why he is here, I would like to make him a welcome member of our community, however I cannot find a suitable way of making him feel as if he were at home. *Ienzo peeks through the door* Even: It is certainly one thing to care for the boy after all this time, however might I imply that we cannot keep pretending to be his surrogate parents nor can we properly bring him up in our studies! The boy still refuses to learn! Master Ansem: Then perhaps it is time for a different approach, one that excludes homework. *Ienzo tilts his head towards Ansem* Even: What might that be Master Ansem? Master Ansem: I will take the boy to the square, a bit of time out of the castle might do him some good. We may not be capable of teaching him, however we can show him we are at least decent people. Even: As you wish Master, now if you'lI excuse me I will return to my research for now. Master Ansem: The Replica program I presume? Even: Precisely Master! Master Ansem: I shall leave you to it. *Ienzo comes out from the door and joins Ansem* Master Ansem: Why good afternoon young master! shall we be off? *Ienzo nods his head as he holds Ansem's hand". Meanwhile in Twilight Town a struggle tournament is being held, everyone is attending as it is close to the end of summer vacation for many students. Even the NORA gang (a small group of juvenile youngsters) showed up to see their leader Snow stand up to the challenge. Yuj: Hey Snow! Are you gonna be at the the struggle tournament later? Snow: You better believe it! Lebreau: I heard so many people signed up for it, but why? Snow: It's a dream come true that's why! Everyone gets these special orbs, the point of the game is to knock all the orbs out of the other person's pockets and grab them before they hit you back! It's as simple as that! Absolutely no rules! Gadot: Well there ARE some rules. Apparently you gotta have to have more orbs than the person you're fighting. Otherwise you lose no matter what. Lebreau: I really don't see the point in it all, I mean what is so fun about hitting each other with a bat all day? Maqui: Well like Snow said there really aren't that many restrictions on how to win. In any case it'll be fun to watch! Snow: Yeah you said it Maqui! Now where is she.... Lebreau: You talking about Light? Snow: Hey don't go saying her name out loud! *all of the sudden he hears a girl speaking from behind him* Lightning: What's wrong Snow? You afraid I might challenge you to a duel? Snow: W-what? No way! I would never challenge you Light! Lightning: I'll tell you what, if I win in the tournament you'll have to buy us all ice cream! Snow: That's- Lightning: Deal? Snow: Fine! But if I win, that Ice cream is on you! *Meanwhile in the crowd a little girl pops up from behind Yuj and Gadot* Serah: Hey Snow! Snow! Yuj: Oh hey Serah! Sorry but I think the tournaments about to begin. Serah: I missed him? Yuj: Afraid so. *Suddenly the crowd sees the first two combatants* Announcer: Snow, the leader of the Nora kids, versus Bartz, a boy so talented he can copy any moves his opponents make! Snow: Let's make this quick! Bartz: Let's do it! *As the two are fighting, throwing attack after attack toward one another, Serah shouts from the audience* Serah: Look at Snow! He's just so awesome! Gadot: The other guy sure is fast though. Maqui: I think it's cause he keeps copying Snows moves. *Bartz runs past Snow about to swing his bat at him from behind, then surprisingly Snow back flips and strikes Bartz from behind* Announcer: And the match is over! Bartz: Aw man! Snow: That was fun! Bartz: THAT WAS FUN! (Mimicing Snow) Hey we should do that again sometime! *Bartz leaves the stage* Snow: Heh, funny guy. Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the next opponent is Lightning! Childhood friend of Snow, she is fast and does not give up so easily! Serah: Sis? I didn't know you joined the tournament! *Looking over at Snow then looking toward at Serah Lightning winks* Lightning: Alright Snow time to make good on that promise! Snow: Time to make good on yours too Light! *The two get locked in an intense battle, having fun, channeling eachother's energy, and striking nimbly at each other while trying to take the orbs* Yuj: Go Snow! Gadot: You got this Snow! Serah: I'm not even sure who to cheer for! I hope whoever wins get's to win the tournament! *Snow jumps over and grabs one of Lightning's orbs then accidentally falls over dropping on of his orbs* *As the match is about to end Lightning runs over and takes out his bat in a speedy motion, then just as Snow get's up, she zips past him knocking all his red orbs in the air. Snow looks over at Lightning in a state of shock, and falls to the ground on his back.* Lightning: That wasn't too bad of a fight! Snow: Well, a promise is a promise. Lightning: On the bright side, Snow. Looks like you got a fan out of all this. *Snow looks at Serah jumping ecstatically shouting his name!* Serah: You did great Snow! You really gave it your all! You too sis! *The two friends smiled at each other as Lightning helped Snow back on his feet* Announcer: We have a new challenger today. Everyone give it up for Lumaria! A boy who came her all the way from Radiant Garden! Snow: A boy from another world? Lightning: this should be interesting. *Everyone watches as the mysterious pink haired youth battles his way through the remaining two opponents in order to reach Lightning* Lightning: I have to say I like the you fight. Lumaria: ... Lightning: Not much for talk huh? Well here goes! *The struggle match commences and the two are giving it all their energy. Lumaria is no ordinary boy, but he seems to posses a powerful strategy, he makes it so Lightning can't attack him, blocking all her moves* Lightning: Argh! How can he move like that? Lumaria: Take this! *Lightning flinches and the. Loses and orb* Lightning: Can't be serious! Lumaria: This ones for you Arlene! *He charges at full speed at Lightning* Lightning: Aaargh! *She blocks his move and takes back her orb* Lightning: Where did you learn to move like that? Lumaria: It doesn't matter, I was gonna win that trophy for Arlene. Lightning: Oh. I see. *Lumaria walks off the stage depressed* Announcer: Aaaand last but certainty not least! Everyone please welcome the Struggle Champion! Jecht! Jecht: Well, looks like someone finally got up to the challenge. Lightning: I hope you know sir, I don't intend to lose! Jecht: I can understand, but you should know, I'm the best! *Another intense fight lights up the stage and all are amazed at the quick but shocking outcome* Lightning: Take ths! Jecht: Sorry kid! *Jecht swings his bat around and does a backflip, then throws his bat at Lightning as if it were a ball. Startled Lightning falls on her side dropping all her orbs and the match is over* Lightning: How could I- How did I- Jecht: It's called luck kid, and it looks like you just ran out. See you forgot one thing: I'm the best! Lightning: Ugh..... Jecht: Don't go cryng or anything, it is just a game. Here. *Jecht helps her up* Jecht: The important thing is not to battle with your strength alone but also with your heart. If you got a strong enough heart, you don't need to go and bash everything in your path you see, you just gotta believe in your inner strength. Lightning: Thank you sir. *Lightning rejoins the others and her sister and they all go out to the Station to have Ice Cream. A little yellow marble rolls over to Lumaria. He examines it and takes it with him* Maqui: I hear there's this new flavor they got at the ice cream shop. Snow: What's it called? Maqui: Well according to the menu it's from Radient Garden; Sea-Salt Ice Cream, I think it's called. Lebreau: Hey guys I think someone's following us. Snow: Sea Salt? Who would buy something like that? Hey wasn't that guy also from Radiant Garden? Lebreau: Guys! He's right behind us! Lumaria: It's a good flavor! You should try it for yourself! *Behind the NORA gang is Lumaria* Lumaria: I would. Me and my friend Arlene always picked that flavor. Lightning: You again? Lumaria: Sorry for how I acted earlier. Lightning: No I get it, you have a lot on your mind. Who is Arlene? Lumaria: Well she was a friend of mine, but father said I couldn't be friends with her anymore. I tried to reason with him but, he said if I showed I really cared about her enough I would need proof. Which is why I entered the tournament, to win the trophy and prove I was good enough. Snow: That's kinda harsh. Hey wait you said you were from Radiant Garden right? Lumaria: Uh-huh Snow: how did you get here? *Meanwhile back at Radiant Garden* Master Ansem: You see Ienzo we live in a mysterious and wonderful world. There is a theory based on an ancient tale told by many of the towns people. Once the worlds were all connected safely guarded by the light, then one day darkness shrouded the mind of those wanting the great light, and so their actions brought upon the destruction of the world and broke it apart. However each piece of the world remained intact thanks to the ever glowing light in the hearts of children. *Ienzo quietly listens to what the Wise sage has to say* Master Ansem: Ah here we are. Moogle: Can I help you good sir? Kupo? Master Ansem: Two Sea Salt Ice Cream sticks please! Moogle: Coming right up Kupo! *Ansem the Wise hands Ienzo a stick and as the two walk back to the castle, Ienzo lets out a small but noticeable smirk, the two would be as teacher and student from here on* Moogle: Oh! Another customer! What can I get for you miss? Arlene: Hee-hee *Arlenes scurries away* Moogle: Kupo? *The moogle turns around to see his shop filled with ignited fireworks. Each going off at the same time. Sparks fly everywhere startling the poor moogle* Moogle: Hey that wasn't nice kupo! Where are your manners kupo!? Kids these days kupo.... *Meanwhile back at Twilight Town* Snow: So you're saying you used a portal to get here? Lumaria: Yes! A glowing dark one! I see them more often lately because a masked boy keeps leaving them open. They say monsters can be heard from inside sometimes. Snow: Really?! So who is this masked boy? Serah: I'm sorry to hear about your father, it would stink if I couldn't spend time with Snow anymore. Lightning: Believe me that would be a dream come true. Serah: Hey! *Everyone starts laughing* Yuj: Well let's go look for this portal! You gotta get home somehow! Lumaria: Right. My dad is probably wondering where I am at the moment. Snow: Let's get you home Lumaria! Alright team NORA, lets move! Lumaria: Thanks Snow! You can call me Luma for short. Snow: Alright then, Luma it is! You can count on us to find the portal! *And so the team restlessly searched everywhere for this portal but to no avail. The portal would not be found so easily, but just then a mysterious masked boy steps out into to open streets* Masked boy: This world looks like it could use some excitement. *Unversed start flowing from a portal left open from the masked boy* Lightning: Snow look! Lumaria: There it is! Snow: Wait a second... Look out there are monsters coming out of that thing! Serah: Eek. Get em Lightning! Lightning: Serah stay back! *The unversed start scanning the area and suddenly notice the stress within Lumaria. As they are about to strike a strong yell can be heard from over the buiding* Jecht: Arrgh! Get going! Lightning: You? Jecht: I'll deal with the pip-squeaks you just get that kid out of here! Rrragh! *Jecht faces all the unversed by himself. Allowing the NORA kids yo get away. At the portal-* Lightning: Are you sure you'll be alright? Lumaria: Yeah I'll be fine. I didn't realize it at the time but. I noticed. You have really nice hair. Lightning: *blushing*. Yeah so? Lumaria: I didn't think I'd have to leave so soon, but I just wanted to say thank you all, your all my new friends! Lightning: Be careful in there. No more crazy stunts. Snow: Although I admire that try not to get careless. Yuj: Look who's talking? Lumaria: Alright, I'll see you again someday! I hope. *Lumaria steps through, waving good-bye to his new friends, and runs till he sees the portal to Radiant Garden. The darkness starts to chase him, but Lumaria escapes and falls on his back* Lumaria: Oh my head. Arlene: Your back! Your back! Your back! Lumaria: Whoa! Don't do that to me! Arlene: Did you get the trophy? The struggle thingy? Lumaria: No Arlene. I didn't get anything. Arlene: You idiot! How could you! Now I don't have anyone to play with anymore! Lumaria: It's okay Arlene, I did get something. Alrene: What is it? Lumaria I think it's a piece of that trophy they always give away. It must have dropped and I picked it up. Here you can have it. It reminded me of you. Arlene: You're not gonna talk to your father? Lumaria: I am, but instead of giving him something I think he'll understand if I just told him the truth. Arlene: Okay, whatever you say! *Arlene skips over to the moogle shop and sees nobody there anymore. Meanwhile the moogle is hiding behind the counter* Moogle: That girl is trouble Kupo! *Back at Lumaria's house, he talks to his father, and instead of scolding him his father gives him a "wild rose".* Lumaria: what am I gonna do with this? Lumaria's father: Friendship is more than an object. Sometimes you need it to grow over time. Just remember this rose whenever you are facing a hard decision. You have a strong heart son. Strong enough to someday run your own castle like the the great Ansem the Wise. While I don't quite like that friend of yours I can't stop you from wanting to be with her, just be careful you two. Lumaria: Okay *back outside* Arlene: what did he say? Lumaria: We can still hang out Arlene: You really are an idiot for going through all that just to talk to me! Lumaria: Why thank you, at least you got someone to talk to, with an attitude like yours someone has to keep you in check. Arlene: Heheh. Someday we'll have a castle just like that one right? Lumaria: Yeah someday. Arlene: I don't care if no one likes me, I just don't want to be alone! Lumaria: Then you should stop being mean to them. It's not that no one likes you. Arlene: You sound just like them! Shut up! *Arlene runs off* Lumaria: Wait Arlene! *Back in Twilight Town Snow, Lightning, Serah and the others are all seen sitting together enjoying the new Sea-Salt Ice Cream flavor. Lea and Isa also enjoy a sea-salt back in Radiant Garden. In a flash of events ten years pass and Ansem the Wise is betrayed by his six apprentices. Lumaria is recruited into the Orginization as a Nobody who had held on to his body thanks to the strength in his heart, he had forgotten what it was like to be human and in all that time forgot that he had fought so hard for Arlene. Marluxia had recommended that Arlene be recruited as well as a sort of instinct to hold on to his memories. Though the organization had thought of Arlene as erratic and not fit for the task, Marluxia had insisted that the strength in her heart had grown strong as the loneliness she felt darkened her heart and allowed her to become a powerful Nobody. After that number XII Larxene had been recruited. Meanwhile Zexion recalled a time he was close to Ansem and in remembering how Xehanort overthrew him, that lead him to join Marluxia in his scheme to overthrow the organization and gain the power of the keyblade wielder. In Twilight Town Lightning and her friends all went their separate ways and over the years as darkness descended. Lightning found her way into Traverse Town where she searched for her sister, instead she found a girl named Lumina who used to the power of darkness to summon her there. As for the NORA gang they dispersed as Snow went instead to Hollow Bastion to find Serah and still searches for her there. As for Jecht, he had long past left his son Tidus to embark on a journey from which he would never return, and he accepted the darkness within his heart and became a monster. The tradition of eating the Sea-Salt Ice cream would pass on to Hayner, Pence, and Olette, the soon Roxas, Axel and Xion, and Sora, Riku and Kairi. Now we are at the present. *Sometime after defeating Xemnas, in the months before Sora and Riku got the letter from King Mickey. Sora, Riku and Kairi purchase a batch of fresh sea-salt Ice Cream. As the sun is setting on the Destiny Isles, Sora reminisces about the good times he had in twilight town as Roxas, not even curious as to how he has these memories. He doesn't quite remember then fully but he can feel that he has tasted this ice cream and sat in the the setting sun with two of his best friends.* Sora: Hey Riku. Riku: Yeah? Sora: You said you met Roxas right? Riku: That's right. Sora: What was he like? Riku: Well for one thing, he liked Sea-Salt Ice Cream. Sora: C'mon! You were the only one of us who actually met him in person! You had to have known something about him! Riku: Well. He always seemed concerned about this girl. Sora: What girl? Namine? Kairi: It wouldn't surprise me, those two looked pretty close. Riku: No it wasn't quite Namine he was concerned about.... Weird it's like no matter how much I try I can't remember or see what they looked like. I just know, besides Axel, there was someone who Roxas really liked. Sora: A girl who Roxas really liked. *Sora looked at his Ice Cream for a moment, and in a flash of memory he saw a girl with black hair who looked like Kairi, but only for a second.* Kairi: Sora? Are you alright? Where did you go? Sora: Huh? No, I was just thinking about something. Riku: And? Sora: Well lately I've been having these weird dreams. I keep seeing Namine in them. It's like she's trying to tell me something. But I can't think of it. Riku: Maybe you just need rest. Kairi: Yeah you've been thinking a lot lately. Sora: I guess I have. *meanwhile in Sora's heart* Roxas: I hope he gets the message soon. I really do. I hate to seem him this way, so confused. Ven's heart: Don't worry I have a feeling a feeling you'll get to show him, soon, in his dreams. Roxas: What if he doesn't understand? Ven's heart: He will, someday he will. *Flash back to Twilight town during the days Roxas was with the organization.* Roxas: Hey you guys! Have you seen any heartless around here? Yuj: .... Gadot: ...... Lebreau: ..... Maqui: ....what's a heartless? Roxas: Oh y'know.... A creature created from the darkness, right Marluxia? *Marluxia enters* Marluxia: Correct Roxas. And with the aid of that keyblade of yours, you are able to defeat those heartless and in doing so release their hearts. A truly remarkable weapon. Roxas: Um yeah, so that's why I ask. Gadot: There haven't been such things here, not that we know of anyway. Marluxia: Roxas, we must continue onward- *Marluxia stopped and stares for a moment at the NORA members, recalling a time he had been helped by them.* Marluxia: You all should be wary of the darkness, it consumes even the strongest of hearts. *With that Roxas and Marluxia left the scene* *Back to Sora* Sora: Why do I remember that now? Riku: Hey Sora! Tidus and Wakka want to spar, you want in? Sora: Umm I'll catch up with you guys. Riku: .... (That's so unlike him, usually he's as upbeat as ever. Ever since he found out Roxas was inside him he's changed). Riku: Hey Sora! Sora! (I guess he left). *Later that night* Sora: Another dream about him.... Riku: Sora! I'm glad I found you. What are you doing out here so late? Sora: I keep seeing Roxas in my dreams. Do you think he had the same dreams about me? Riku: I'm pretty sure he did, but they never did him any good, he kept chasing them wanting to find answers, and all he found was more questions. Sora: I still wish I had more time to talk with him. I still had something I wanted to say to him. Riku: Remember what I told you when we were kids? You might need to look deep inside your heart. You'll get to someday, just wait. Sora: Yeah. Maybe in my dreams.... Riku: Maybe. Sora: Sorry for worrying you guys. Riku: Ah it's fine as long as your still you. Sora: light and darkness. Riku: huh? Sora: it's like the ice cream we had earlier, salty yet sweet. Riku: Yeah. Exactly. The two heroes looked upon the ocean at night, unprepared for what awaited them next. Later on in the realm of sleep. "Riku......" "Riku..........." "So much to do....." "So little time". Riku: What? "Chosen wielder of the keyblade, step fourth and choose your destiny" Riku: I don't understand! "Nor need you...." "Ask yourself Riku...." "Are you worthy of wielding that which had been passed down to you?" Riku: The keyblade? "Walking the path of darkness has changed you....." "You must now awaken the light deep with yourself". "You must become a Keyblade Master". Riku: But how? How will I know if I'm worthy? "Remember...." "You hold the most powerful weapon of all". *And so the next day Sora, Riku and Kairi would receive word from the king himself. It was time for yet another adventure.* I hope you enjoyed this story! Thank you for reading!
