Leave Out All The Rest ?1x1 W/ Laynie?

Posted

This is a 1x1 RP with the wonderful Laynie and the amazing Zexion/Ienzo! No one can post in here OTHER then us. If you want to give feedback simply message us. I'll start us off. (Yes I know I'm not using an OC, go suck it if you have a problem with it :P)

Mammon sighed, walking around the town with his hands in his pockets. After taking a short-cut from his college to get back home he ended up getting lost. And he had a feeling he didn't want to be here...

(Starting off RP's isn't my strongest point, don't kill me xD)

Mammon tried calming her down as Verde sighed.

"They're called Andicinic (RANDOM NAME, I swear). Alright? No need to yell." Skull yawned, looking over at the baby and yelping as the chikd took a death grip on his pointer finger.

"Andicinic? Mhm, you better know what your doing. Dose sizes?" she raises her eyebrows and pushes Mammon's hand off of her shoulder. Haru was just pissed that there were SO MANY BUGS IN HIS ROOMFNRGJKLRTD.

"Two a day, no more, no less." Verde confirmed, getting up and thwacked Skull on the head.

"OW....ow." Skull yelled giving him a hurt look. Mammon sighed, pushing them out of the apartment.

"Thank you, now leave." He ordered, taking the baby from Fong.

"Bye byyye~ Come and visit!" Sakura called, taking the baby from Mammon. "Aaaai, say hi to big brother," she held the baby up to Haru's face. He swatted at it. Sakura whacked him uspide the head. Family moment.

Mammon immedietly hit Sakura on the arm lightly, glaring from under his fringe.

"Don't yell at him, he's sick!" He snapped putting his hands on his hips nonchalantly.

(HAPPY?! xD)

"...So? That matters?" she giggled. "It's only Ru, not like it's anyone important," Sakura laughed. Haru rolled over and ignored his sister and the hateful things that she said. "You think he's really important, don't 'cha?" the girl giggled, walking towards the front door.

(YES. TWO FRIGGEN DAYS LATER)

Mammon paused, looking at her a little shocked. Not important...Haru was...

"Yes. He is very important. And he's irreplacable." The violet haired boy defending Haru, not realizing how sappy he sounded.

"...irreplaceable? I could find a blonde dumb guy on the street any day of the week. They come by the dozens," she cackled. "Sounds like you have a little soft spot for'im, don'cha?"

"I do not!" Mammon snapped, blushing feriously. How dare she assume such ledicrousy? How dare she be so nosy?! How dare she...she...

She be right?

"I was riiiight on the money," she giggled, stepping towards Mammon and dragging him out of Haru's room (and he was asleep, anyway) "I only said those things because I wanted to see if it was true," she tilted her head. "And I was right!"

Mammon looked away, slightly irritated. He couldn't believe Sakura had done that....Sneaky little...

"So...why do you want to know about that anyway?"

"Because Ru is the absolute most important thing to me," she said bluntly. "And I want to know who has what feelings for him. And honestly, you could do him good and steer him right. That boy's driving his life out the window," she looked at the baby. "I wanna raise this one to be a bit better than Ru... but I still love him more than anything,"

Mammon nodded, his understanding clear.

"So...do you know what he...feels back?" Mammon questioned, a little insecure about this.

"Nothing," her face was straight. "He doesn't feel for anyone. That's his problem. He's incapable of loving another human being, he sees them as resources. And the ones that provide more to him get more respect from him. It's sad. But maybe you could teach him that humans aren't all just resources," she gave a smile, then a frown, and left the apartment on that note.

Jeez...talk about blunt and now having incredible weight on his shoulders. Grimacing, Mammon walked back into the apartment, sitting next to Haru gingerly.

"Are you feeling okay?"

"A little..." he rolled over to face the boy, staring up at him with those crystal blue eyes. The reason for Haru's way of appreciating people all happened because of something Sakura said to him, a long long time ago.

"Get this straight, kid! This is MY house, and that's MY Dad! He's just providing for you! He doesn't love you! Same with me!"

Mammon gave a rare smile, making sure to not look at Haru directly.

"Glad to hear it." Mammon admitted, fiddling with his hair slightly. It was hard to think that Haru as...innocent as he looked...he wasn't really. And that's why he didn't look Haru in the eyes. He saw too much pain.

"Are YOU okay, dude?" he gave a few chuckles. "Cus you don't seem like it," Even though Haru talked, he was still quiet. Even though he had friends, he was lonely. Because he felt like the only one could feel, and the rest just provided, weather it be good things or bad things.

Mammon sighed and nodded quietly, getting up to grab them some glasses of water. Sakura's words still troubled him as they continued to rebound of the sides of his brain. He had a feeling it was skmething that would haunt him, just for a bit. Mammon emerged from the Kitchen, went back to Haru's room, and gave one of the glasses to the blond.

"Here. You look like you need some refreshments."

(Dude, hebrew school was canceled o_o)

"Thanks," he sat up and took the glass before chugging it down. "So, those people were your friends, right? What can they do?" He asked curiously, placing the glass on the floor once he emptied it.

(Really? That sucks, do you know why?)

Mammon nodded, taking a delicate, smaller sip.

"Sort of. They're mostly friends of Kat that we met as a child and they helped us out a lot. Fong is an English teacher but he also specializes in martial arts. Verde, a scientist and doctor, clearly. And Skull is, surprisingly, a Math teacher sbstitute and he's also a usuallty full-time stuntsman." Mammon explained casually, feeling no need to go into major detail of how they met or anything. It wasn't asked so it wasn't nessecary. Another calm sip of water. "That medicine you were given was made by Verde himself. I wouldn't be surprised if you were as good as new tomorrow."

(No idea. But it's a good thing, I didn't want to get up this morning x3)

"Teachers... like in school, right?" he blinked and tilted his head a bit. "And Sakura's heard of the medicine he wants to give me, too,"

(Lol. Hey, is it bad that I'm still exited for the convention ^^')

"Yeah," Mammon replied, smiling. "They work in school's were the kids don't have a good home life and teach them good things and help them cope. All the students are now really smart." He explained before picking up the bottle Verde had provided. "These are really popular so I'm not surprised she's heard of them. But you can't have more then nessecary. Or else you'll die in the passing 10 minutes. It's serious stuff." Mammon explained cautiously, making this a point to Haru.

(Yes, cus it's in JUNE xD)

"Why would I die?" he blinked a few times. "And that sounds really weird, a school for kids in bad situations," if only he had heard of that school when he was a kid.

(^^' I can't help iiiiiit?)

Mammon slumped just slightly. Haru really wasn't bright.

"Because the overdose and amount of chemicals from the medicine will be to strong for your body to handle." He said simply, finishing his water.
