Leave Out All The Rest ?1x1 W/ Laynie?

Posted

This is a 1x1 RP with the wonderful Laynie and the amazing Zexion/Ienzo! No one can post in here OTHER then us. If you want to give feedback simply message us. I'll start us off. (Yes I know I'm not using an OC, go suck it if you have a problem with it :P)

Mammon sighed, walking around the town with his hands in his pockets. After taking a short-cut from his college to get back home he ended up getting lost. And he had a feeling he didn't want to be here...

(Starting off RP's isn't my strongest point, don't kill me xD)

Mammon mimicked Haru's cross-legged position, his eyes concentrated on the floor. He noticed 8 1/2 stains on it...

"Because...you saved me, let me stay here, and you even went as far as to let me sleep on your lap no matter how uncomfortable it was on you." Apparently the wall had been painted two shades of white. "No one's ever done that for me before, aside from Kat. It just kinda' hit me before..." Mammon murmered, fiddling with another strand if his hair.

"But those are things that anyone would do... right? I mean, don't people just do stuff like that for eachother?" he tilted his head. "Well, I can't stop you from feeling whatever it is you're feeling, but just keep in mind that I'm some random dude for Beauport," he gave a little smile.

Mammon had half a mind to push the matter but he didn't, instead resigning to just sitting back silently in the couch. Haru seemed to understand butat the same time...he didn't.

"Love bites..." Mammon whispered bitterly, a small pout on his face. It was true. Haru didn't make any indication of liking him back so...Mammon was left to assume the worst.

"You're... really different," Haru blinked a few times. "Like, different from other people I've met. You work differently," he layed out on the floor, cus... he could. "Why is that?"

  • Author

Mammon raised a delicate eyebrow from under his head, the corners of his lips almost twitching up into a smirk.

"I work differently? How so?" The Haru said it...Well, one, made Mammon amused, and two, also made him curious.

"I dunno, dude, you're just... it's like, you confuse me when you don't mean to, and you always just..." Haru couldn't really say it. "You just don't have stuff figured out, but everyone else does," he tried.

Mammon blinked, processing the reply.

"I'm just acting like a normal person..." He stated with a shrug. For some reason he...he had a nagging feeling that Haru was used a lot...

"Normal people don't act like that," he rolled his eyes. "Normal people know what they want all the time, and they use eachother for things. That's how it works,"

(ohmygod call me now I need you ;;;; )

"No. It's not. Just because you grew up like that doesn't mean its the truth." Mammon snapped bitterly, his tone a little harsher then nessecary.

(For whaaaat~)

He took a small but sharp gasp in. "That's... that's what my parents said, thought... and same with Sakura... that's what everyone says..." totally confused.

(it's an emergency!!)

(But I don't wanna get off my bed, I'm sleeeeepyyyyy~ How serious is it?)

Mammon hesitated, feeling his feautures soften just slightly. He placed a hand on Haru's shoulder, being genuinly kind.

"Not everyone tries to confuse you. Some people just do it because they're assholes."

(I'm crying serious)

"Then... you're calling my sister and parents assholes?" he frowned. How rude.

Mammon jumped.

"No! Crap...I meant that sometimes people say things they don't mean or they say things to make you stronger." He covered, trying to fix his mess-up.

(Gotcha')

"...but... that doesn't make sense," he shook his head. Everyone else around him had to know what they were doing, he thought. He was the only one allowed to not know what to do... right?

Frowning, Mammon pulled Haru into a hug. His confused state and hurt tone just had that swelling affect on him. Like when you yell at a kid and they give you a glazed over look like you just killed their puppy. It made the teen feel guilty.

"You will. It'll take time Haru."

Well, now Haru REALLY didn't get it. "Kay..." he blinked a few times. "I don't get what you mean, but... okay..." nothing seemed to make sense anymore D:/

Mammon released Haru from his hug and ruffled the blond's hair just slightly.

"Don't think about it Haru, you don't want to hurt yourself." He teased, throwing in a smirk as he got up to stretch and walk over to the bathroom.

(There is a shower right o.o)

He gave Mammon a slightly disgusted look. He was tired of hearing that. "Right..." he mumbled under his breath and stood up off the floor. "I'm gonna go get food,"

(yes x3)

Mammon paused in his steps, turning back to Haru.

"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that Haru." Without another word he stepped into the bathroom and closed the door nearly all the way. Carefully, he slid out of his cloak and t-shirt and unlaced his pants. The hot water felt nice as he slid against the shower wall, losing himself in the steam.

(Poor Ru, that was heartless of me to say...)

"Yes you did," he said to himself, walking down the stairs. Let's see what he could manage to grab in this forgotten place.

Something nice to thank Mammon, at least...

Mammon sighed, cleaning his hair thuroughly of the conditioner. As he got out of the shower the teen looked at himself in the mirror before him...and frowned. He hated his appearance. It was too feminine, a reason why he couldn't defend himself. He tried himself off before dressing into his clothes. Mammon slid down onto the tile floor, hugging himself. He just didn't feel like moving. Then it hit him. Haru was still sick. He bolted up ready to fling open the front door and race after him.

Haru was already half way down the street. He had his hands in his pockets and this horrifying look on his face. His jaw was tight, narrowed eyes, and clenched teeth. He just looked scary.

(You need to tell me what happened yesterday)

(It was just something that got to me during a class, don't worry about it.)

Mammon ran as fast as he could towards Haru's angry form and found he got there faster then expected.

"Wait!" Mammon breathed, outstretching his hand.

(Noooo tell me)

Thinking it was someone who... wasn't Mammon, he turned around and clocked his friend in the face, knocking him to the ground.

(I got depressed because Mrs. K. started to talk about suicide and it got me thinking about how I've tried committing it in the past. There, happy now?)

Mammon fell to the ground, holding his stinging nose. Tears welled up in his eyes as he looked up at the blond in disbelief. Damn....that hurt.

"H-Haru..."
