Leave Out All The Rest ?1x1 W/ Laynie?

Posted

This is a 1x1 RP with the wonderful Laynie and the amazing Zexion/Ienzo! No one can post in here OTHER then us. If you want to give feedback simply message us. I'll start us off. (Yes I know I'm not using an OC, go suck it if you have a problem with it :P)

Mammon sighed, walking around the town with his hands in his pockets. After taking a short-cut from his college to get back home he ended up getting lost. And he had a feeling he didn't want to be here...

(Starting off RP's isn't my strongest point, don't kill me xD)

(Lunch)

"I'm coming too. I wanna see'im," she walked next to the boy. "Plus, don'cha know about Beauport? You'll get your ass kicked walking around by yourself like that. It'd be cruel if I let you walk into a gang of rapists,"

(...I don't see anything to talk about. I'll just listen to the schedule Chelsea told me.)

Mammon sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Fine, fine." He said, slowing down to walk next to her. It was amazing how young she looked. And how striking her appearance was to Haru's. "He looks a lot like you." He said absentmindedly.

(What did Chelsea tell you? o_o)

"Hm, does he? I just remember he was blonde. I know his sister looks like their Dad, though. Short with brown hair," she rolled her eyes. "But neither of them have brown eyes. Didya know that there used to be a famous musical theater here about twenty or so years ago?"

(Thatvat reccess I could talk about anime but at lunch I couldn't. She said you came up with the compromise.)

Mammon raised his eyebrow. That seemed...a little random. But then he remembered that Haru had etched a guitar in the table with his mom.

"Did you, by any chance, work there or even play an instrument?" He asked, feigning curiousity.

(...I never said that o_o but good plan. Are you okay with that?)

"Naw, I didn't play there. But I did perform. Back before this town became a dump and a half, I was actually a famous stage actress. Well, famous to these parts anyhow. I met their Dad the night of a show, and he met me backstage. My life went downhill from there, and so did this town,"

(Not really. But if it stops Jess from avoiding us and hating me and seperating the group then...I guess.)

Mammon let out a small sound.

"Oh..." He hadn't expected this, really. "So...I'm guessing you fell in love?" He asked, bracing himself for a negative response just in case.

(it's just that there's more to life than Anime ^^; )

"Ha, no. I was a stupid drunken whore. I slept with the man, and then Sakura was born. I told him that I didn't want her, so he solves his problems by drugging me, raping me and taking my daughter away. Then I had my son, and things just went down hill. I sorta always took it out on him,"

(Sorry if that's all I know what to talk about. I've never had any friends who were bothered by it before :(...)

Mammon looked at her, slightly irritated.

"And why would you do that?" Mammon asked Rachel, looking around to see if he could find Haru on the streets.

(I understand that completely, but try talking about some other stuff too :3)

"I dunno, he was an easy outlet. Then once he could finally talk, all he wanted to do was 'meet Daddy'. So I took him to New York, and the man beat the livin' crap outta him. I was too drunk to notice most of the time, but his sister took good care of him. And I see that she still is,"

"Oh." Mammon replied, a little sullenly. "Well, I think he cares very much about you. He even has a carving of you underneath his coffee table. Though he's pretty clear, or thinks anyway, that you still hate him." Mammon explained, realizing that they were now in an area very unkind to Mammon. It looked more dangerous -if possible- then the other part of Beauport. "I...don't think we're supposed to be here..."

"Naw, but I know he's here. Trust me," she threw some curls behind her back. "Let's move, Stubby," The woman started walking deeper into the darker area of the city. "I know he's here. His sister's here too," Rachel's eyes searched the area completely.

Mammon looked around but followed closely behind her, shifting his eyes around. And he then felt his mind freeze. Haru was going to kill him. He wasn't. Supposed. To leave the house! He internally groaned.

"Oh boy..."

"There," she stopped and pointed to the most run down, half destroyed building. "That's the old theater. Let's move, Stubby," Rachel walked towards the door and pushed it open, before vanishing inside of the run-down structure.

Mammon's gut was telling him no, that maybe this wasn't a good idea. But curiousity got the better of him, as always (;D), and he followed Rachel into the old theater. His insides clenched as he could only see the dark. This felt like such a bad idea. But he continued walking in hopes of finding Haru's mom.

She wasn't too far away. She was standing right behind the last row of seats that were busted and broken, a dull brown instead of a bright red. Her eyes were locked on the two people sitting on stage- Haru and Sakura. Ru was sitting pretzel leg and Sakura had her knees to her chin. They stared at Rachel. Rachel stared at them.

Mammon gulped, deciding to stay a bit in the shadows. He had a feeling he wasn't or shouldn't inturrupt this. It was...a family moment, or something like that. He madea questioning motion to Rachel.

"Look what I found~" the woman sang. She had a very beautiful, alto voice. She took Mammon's hand and dragged him over. "The firetruck are you ding here, Stubby!?" Haru yelled. "Holy shit, your voice got deeeep," Rachel noticed.

Mammon cringed, snapping his eyes shut immedietly. He forced a tiny smile tilting his head.

"Eh...exploring?" He asked, trying to be cute a pretend he didn't do anything wrong.

"Like hell you are!" He yelled. "Relaaax, Ru-Ru, he's a good boy!" Rachel smiled. "Why did you lead me on, Mom? Why didn't you tell me that you were alive?" Haru asked. "Becaaaause, I had to get out of the region," "So you coulda taken us with you!" "It woulda caused suspicion," she groaned. "Look, I'm here, and you're all... grown up and what not, so it's too late,"

  • Author

Mammon watched-er-listened to the arguement, reaching to find a teater seat. His legs were quite tired.

"You're only saying I'm a good boy because I helped." He pouted, feeling the acid drenched hole Haru was glaring into Mammon'shead.

"You didn't do anything, Stubby," she rolled her eyes. "Stop glaring," Sakura whispered to her brother. He listened and turned his glare towards his mother. "I kinda figured you'd be pissed..." the blonde woman sighed. "Oh well. I won't be here for long anyway, I just came cus I have a present for ya,"

  • Author

Mammon's ears perked up at that. He ha

dn't seen Rachel with anything. No bags or...nothing. What was she going to give?

"A present?" He asked, mostly to himself.

"Yes," Rachel smiled at Mammon. "A present. But it's back in the alley, so we have to go," she turned around and walked out the door. Haru stood up and hopped the stage, before grabbing Mammon by the shoulder and dragging him out. Sakura followed behind silently.

Mammon followed along as he was pulled by Haru, bewildered on the chain of events spiraling downward. He trusted Haru to not hurt him or let him slam into a wall though as he still had his eyes screwed shut.

They all walked in silence back to the alley way where Rachel was before. She stepped into it and sat in her previous spot before pulling a brick out of the wall. She took out what looked to be a bundle of blankets and handed it to Sakura. "I'll see you guys around," and with that, the mother turned around and headed for the Beauport gate. The blankets started crying...
