Here I am

I stand in front of you

My heart laying bare

I walked a thousand miles

Just to say this

I love you

You may be unsure about how you feel

But I love you

You say that goodnight quickly and hang up the phone

I am willing to die and give myself up for you

Why in the world does life do this to me?

Why is it that I have to have a gun put to my head every time something in life goes right?

Why is it that I did nothing wrong and all I get in return is punishment?

I just want to hear you say to me, "I love you."

That is all I want from this world.

This is all I want from you...

I pour my heart out at you every second of every day.

And you give me almost nothing.

Tell me why?

tell me why I have to see my heart slowly get torn from my chest...

I love you still...

And I will continue to love you until the end of time.
