For those of you who are interested in the Valkyria Chronicles franchise, Sega has kindly decided to release this game to the west for 2017 for PS4/Xbox One and PS Vita. For those who are not aware, Atlus USA and Sega USA work in the same office so I can guarantee you that Atlus helped influence this decision. I'm going to get the game to support Sega releasing more of their Japanese franchises to the west.

 

Played Valkyria chronicles on PC and it was good but I have yet to finish it. This just looks like a rip off of Tales Of-a glorified button masher.

Aside from the Cel-shaded asthetic, Valkyria Chronicles and Tales Of are drastically different franchises. But I suppose with this game, they're going the Dynasty Warriors route so calling it a "button masher" is fairly representative of the game.
