I don't really have any rules, since language is totally variable. It makes the RP have more feeling.

Roxas sighed lowly, fumbling with the chains on his new leather jacket. It had been one week, 7 days, since he joined the Organization and yet he still barely spoke. He knew no one aside from who his boss was, but who didn't know that?

 

(Lol, beginnings are sucky for me ^^')

Axel walked through the halls of the castle. He walked past number XIII's room and heard a deep sigh. What was the boys name again? Roxas? Axel knew he didn't speak much, yet he had been told to watch over him as he was a newly created Nobody. Axel turned the knob of the door slowly and pushed the door open. The blonde boy was sitting down on his bed messing around with his coat's chain.

Axel chuckled. "Hey."

 

(Yeah I suck at beginnings too )

Roxas looked up at Axel with his hazy, sky blue eyes, before looking down again. He fumbled with his chain, still thinking hard to remember something, anything...

"...Hey."

Axel sat down next to Roxas and looked at the ceiling. He turned and looked at Roxas' blank expression and sighed.

'This is akward...' He thought to himself. He sighed again deeply and layed back on Roxas' bed. "Hey, Roxas. Did Saix tell you that you have a mission today?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "If you do, maybe, as a reward, we can do somethin' fun afterwards." He laughed.

Axel closed his eyes and laughed once.

"Yeah. Fun." He smirked and sat up. "You won't know what it is until you're done with your mission alright? It's a surprise." He stood and started to walk to the door.

"Oh, and Roxas?" The blonde looked up at him.

"Try not to get hurt on your mission."

With that, he left.

Roxas blinked, slightly puzzled at Axel's leaving statement. Don't get hurt..? Shrugging, the tten stood up slowly and made his way to the Grey Area -he remembered that much at least-. When he arrived, he spotted Sa

Axel went back to his room and looked out the window. He knew that Roxas would get hurt if he spaced out like he usually does. And if that happened, Axel would surely get in trouble for it. As a precaution, he advised him to not get hurt.

"Roxas..." When he said that name, he felt a slight bump in his chest. His breath got caught in his throat and he swallowed hard.

"I wonder if he'll be okay." Axel said, clutching his chest.

?Time Skip?

 

Roxas re-entered the World That Never Was that evening, panting just slightly. Barely formed bruises and scratches adorned the skin shown and he sighed, dispersing his keyblade until it need be summoned again. Roxas was careful, really. The mission itself wasn't hard. But he dazed, just for a moment and the Heartless knew an opening when they saw one. Roxas looked up at the sky, noticing it to be a bit brighter then before.

 

Why am I nessecary?

 

Roxas pondered in his mind, feeling overwhelmed with dizziness as he took another step.

"Roxas!" Axel called, smiling. He saw the boy coming back from his mission. The redhead put a hand to Roxas' shoulder and leaned down so they were face to face. "Took you long enough." He laughed. Axel observed Roxas and noticed the faint bruises and small scratches. "You okay..?" He asked, frowning and furrowing his eyebrows.

(YAY! Oh, BRB. I'll be back in like 10 minutes, I have to do the dishes ^^' So stay online, 'kay?)

 

 

Roxas met Axel's gaze and his lips almost twitched upwards at the look he was given. It was very out of the ordinary for Axel to be serious like that. He nodded, looking down at his body. The cloak was what took most of the damage.

"Yeah...I'm fine." He looked back at Axel, face once again nuetral. He was expecting something from the red-head, afterall, it was what had been distracting him for that small minute.

(Ew. Chores. L0l I'll try )

 

Axel examined him once more and noticed how close he was to Roxas' face. He took notice of his ocean blue eyes and blushed. He stood up immediately and sighed. "If you say so."

He opened up a dark corridor in front of them. "I'm taking you to your surprise now alright?" He smirked and patted Roxas' head lightly.

"You like ice-cream, right?"

Roxas thought hard, trying to remember if he had liked it. Ice-cream. Yes, he was sure he had heard of it. He even figured he liked it judging by the odd feeling in his chest that one might label excitement. Roxas nodded, not noticing the red staining Axel's cheeks.

"Yeah, I guess." Roxas replied, following the red-head into the dark-portal, still the same zombie from before.

 

(Lol, so basically, you're telling me, Roxas was hurt...for ice-cream )

(Yes. For the lulz. )

Axel stepped out of the dark portal and was greeted by the rays of the setting sun. He gestured for Roxas to sit down on the ledge of the tower.As Roxas sat, Axel picked a seat right next to him.

He threw his feet of the ledge and looked at Roxas and then back at the sunset. "Like it?" He asked.

Roxas' face was blank. Axel had another idea.

"Here." He said, handing him a white and blue ice-cream bar.

(Don't ask me how he got it so fast. I don't know either )

(Well, let's face the facts. Axel is made of pure epic, as such, normal logic do not effect him )

 

Roxas looked at the curious looking ice-cream, taking it after waiting a bit. As he sat there un-eating the treat, a single drop rolled down the stick as it melted a bit. Curious, Roxas finally took a bite, his big blue eyes widening just a fraction of a centimeter.

"It's...salty, but sweet at the same time." He exclaimed slowly, looking at the treat like he did when he got the Keyblade for the first time.

"Hmph" Axel chuckled.

"Hey Roxas. You don't remember anything at all..? I mean, from your past life?" Axel said, taking another bite from his ice-cream. Axel remembered meeting someone that looked exactly like Roxas when he used to have the name Lea, but he wanted to know if Roxas remembered any of that...

He looked at Roxas intently, looking for an answer.

The question took the blond off guard, even startling him a bit. He wasn't used to anyone really asking him about anything actually important like that. Sure, some other nameless members of the Organization had tried to start a conversation but that was when Roxas had troubling even thinking right. He looked down at his ice-cream, closing his eyes. The more he focused the quicker a headache started to form. A little disappointed, Roxas opened his eyes downcast, shaking his head.

"No...there's nothing." If you wasn't a Nobody, the question asked by the teen would be laced with worry.

"Is that a bad thing Axel?"

Axel bit his lip. He wasn't sure, but he didn't want Roxas to worry.

"Nah. Just a random question. Don't think about it much." He said, turning back to the sunset. He sighed and closed his eyes.

"But, since you have no memories, we're gonna make some. Everyday after our missions, we're gonna come here and eat ice-cream. My treat." He took the last bite of his ice-cream and smiled toothily at Roxas.

Roxas felt warmed at that coment and, carefully, he felt his lips twist into a small smile, probably more brilliant then the sunset. It felt...wierd to actually do that but at the same time, right. A little happier then before a chomped into his ice-cream. He must admit he was looking forward -only a little bit- to tomorrow.

"Okay..." He yawned, stretching a little to much, and toppled backwards, landing in the indent where the ground was and the wall met it. Needless to say, Roxas was a little disgruntled, blinking irritably.

Axel noticed Roxas' actions. "Hey, uhm...you okay?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. Roxas shut his eyes for a moment.

"Maybe we should go back. After all there's nothing left to do here." Axel stood up and offered a hand to Roxas. He looked at his hand but didnt move.

"Want me to carry you?" Axel laughed, half kidding, half not.

(Lol, Roxas is clumsy?)

 

Roxas simpy glared a bit at Axel.

"No." Carefully, as to not send himself propelling over the ledge of the clocktower, he got up, dusting his knees off. He still was having trouble controlling his Nobody body -he WAS only 7 days old-. In face, the blond remembered sliping on his mission.

"I can get up myself." He stated, licking the ice-cream clean off the stick and tossing it off the side of the clocktower.

 

(Roxas! It's people like you that support global warming )

(Really, Roxas? Littering? PROTECT THE WORLD! BE LIKE SORA! )

 

Axel stared with his eyes wide open as Roxas entered the dark corridor. He retuned his hand to his side and crossed his arms. He was only trying to be polite. After all, Roxas didn't look like he was well enough to be on his own two feet. As he walked in after Roxas he mumbled, hoping Roxas wouldn't hear.

"Was it something I said?"

(Lol, Axel, what do you not say?)

 

Roxas did hear Axel's murmer but pretended to be ignorant of it, walking ahead. He and Axel remained quiet, walking down the many hallways in the base until each arrived at their respective room. Roxas grimanced slightly. Why was everything so white? He would appreciate some color. Roxas turned to face Axel, feeling as if he should say something but he didn't know what exactly. Feeling akward, Roxas turned around only to bump his head lightly on the door, causing him to scowl. Which was quite odd seeing how nuetral he usually was.

 

(I couldn't resist. The image was both funny and adorable ^^')

Axel's eyes opened wide. He was worried at first but then he had to bite his lip to prevent himself from laughing. Finally, he couldn't hold it in anymore.

"HAHAHAHA! Roxas? Are you okay? Hahaha!" Axel laughed, watching Roxas rub his forehead.

Roxas simply glared at Axel.

"Hahaha, don't worry, I'll kiss it better." He laughed. He bent down and placed a light peck on Roxas' forehead where he collided with the door.

Roxas blinked owlishly as Axel's lips met his forehead. He had no idea what a kiss was, but he did know that whatever Axel just did gave him a fluttering feeling in his stomach. So, to return the gesture, Roxas went onto his tippy-toes and did exactly as Axel did to him.

"I'm alright." He replied calmly, walking into his room.
