(So you're telling me you made him cry.... for Axel? xD)

Demyx swallowed hard. "C-can you leave me alone for now..? I need some time by myself." He managed. Demyx felt the warm tears pour down his face and slide off his hot skin. His eyes hurt but the tears still fell. His voice was shaking. He felt cold and was shivering. Why did he feel this way?

WHAT WAS THIS?!

(xD That's so horrible...it is. But how was he supposed to know that's what would happen?)

Roxas swallowed dryly, looking up at the other blond.

"Yeah...I'm sorry Demyx...." He said, genuinely troubled that he had reduced Demyx to this state unintentionally. He gave one more look before nodding to the hallway. "Y'know...you should go to his room, maybe it'll make you feel a bit better."

Demyx wiped the tears away and sniffed. He laughed a little. "That'd be kind of stalker-ish don't you think, Roxas? Invasion of privacy and all that..." He took a few deep breaths and shivered a little. He turned away from Roxas.

"Sorry you had to see me like that. I've never cried before...Didn't think it'd come out of me like that... I guesss some people can just bring emotions back to you..."

Roxas gave a crestfallen smile and nodded.

"No...it's okay. Wait here for a second." While Demyx didn't like to invade privacy, Roxas had no concept of that. He had already been in most of the Organization's rooms, at least, the one's he dared venture into. He quickly made his way to Zexion's desolate room, and looked around before spotting what he was looking for. A picture of Demyx and Zexion. Demyx's arm was around Zexion's shoulders playfully and the blond wore a lopsided smile. The younger teen may have looked displeased but anyone could see the smile twitching at his lips and the blush creeping onto his cheeks. Roxas had discovered this picture some time ago and thought it was sweet. In an instant he was back at Demyx's room, handing him the picture.

"Then at least have this."

Demyx's lips opened to speak...but he had nothing to say. Zexion's face was on it and that was just what he needed.

To see his face.

"Thanks, buddy." Demyx smiled sincerely and hugged him. He let him go and pushed him lightly. "Now get outta here, I gotta hide from Saix and if he sees you, he'll see me! So, shoo!" Demyx laughed.

Roxas smiled back, glad Demyx was happier now.

"Sure thing~" With that, the blond left, feeling a little happier. Taking a deep intake of breath he closed his etes and re-opened them with confidence as he bolted down the hall to find Axel.

.

.

.

He found him in the Round Room, getting ready to get his missions from Saix, but relaxing a bit first.

"Axel!" He yelled, still running at the red head full speed, pushing past Xigbar and Luxord, before leaping to catch him in a glomp-like hug. He buried his face into Axel's coat smiling widely.

(AAAWWWW~~~FLuff overload!)

Axel got his breath knocked out of him when Roxas collided with him. He felt the blonde wrap his arms around him. He didn't do the same at first but didn't want Roxas to feel bad. Besides, the other members were staring. He took a hold of his hands and pryed them off.

"Are you going to tell me what's wrong now?" He asked, his face crumpled in hurt.

Roxas was silent, looking at him confused before his eyes widened in realization. He nodded slowly, lowering his gaze momentarily.

"I was worried. I didn't want you to...to forget. I didn't want you to forget about me like you did with Zexion and the others. Even if I'm still here or not...I don't want you to forget I'm here." He admitted, realizing how much of a child he sounded like. He sounded as if he wanted attention but he didn't care. This was Axel we were talking about and he didn't want to risk anything with him.

Axel sighed. He put a hand to Roxas' head and ruffled his hair.

"So that's what this whole thing was about. Roxas," He pulled Roxas away from the others and into the hallways. "What exactly makes you think I'd forget about the ONE thing that actually means something to me? To be honest, I wouldn't dare." He finished, placing a kiss on Roxas' cheek.

Roxas held a blank look before feeling a smile creep onto is face as he leaned onto is tippy toes to give Axel a small kiss on his nose. He nodded, happy that Axel wasn't mad at him and that he would never be forgotten. Ever.

"I just...because you forgot about the others so I just...it doesn't matter though. As long as you promise." He said in fake warning, wagging his finger and closing one eye.

Axel poked his head.

"Whatever, shorty." He laughed and walked away. "I have a mission. Be back later okay? Don't get into too much trouble without me!"

Axel paused suddenly. In an instant, he rushed back to Roxas and crashed their lips together, smiling into the kiss. He pulled away and ran. "LATER!"

Roxas flushed a bright red, slightly irritated with Axel but it didn't matter. He loved the idiot anyway. He shrugged turning around when he felt the blood suddenly rush into his head. What the...? He saw images flash and mingle together and before he knew it he felt his body swaying to the side, his eyes sliding shut. What was...what was going on?

Axel...

Axel stumbled. Why was he losing to measly Neoshadows? He threw his fiery chakrams at the abomonation, hitting about half once and the other half, fading away. The chakrams returned to him.

"Man. If I get injured too badly, Roxas is going to get on my case..." Axel took a deep breath and raised his arms, raising a fire so big, it touched the sky. They were gone.

"Thank Xemnas those things are gone..." He sighed. "Now to get back to the Castle..."

(Shit is going to go down xD)

Roxas blinked, opening his eyes hesitantly. Where...was he? This was not The Castle That Never Was. This was...a black space. And it was empty. So the blond thought.

"I didn't expect to see you so soon Number XIII." Roxas couldn't believe it. He turned around briskly to see--

"Z-Zexion?!"

  • Author

Axel walked into the Castle That Never Was. Hopefully Roxas was done with his mission so they could have icecream again.

He searched the Grey Room.

Nothing.

The West Wing rooms.

Nothing.

The East Wing rooms.

Nothing.

He decided to go back to the Round room. And there, in the hall, Roxas layed, collapsedand pale.

"Roxas!" Axel yelled frantically as he ran to him.

Roxas blinked his eyes widening frantically. How...oh God what was happening? Zexion raised a delicate eyebrow at the blond's reaction, turning a page casually in a little black book looking quite similar to his old Lexicon.

"Yes, that would be me. I'm glad to see I haven't been forgotten."He stated dryly, eye slightly narrowed as he watched Roxas break out in a cold sweat. The younger teen couldn't be as calm. If Zexion was here then...then that meant---

"Am I dead?!"

"No. But you must be close, you're almost as transparent as me." Zexion quipped, analyzing the boy. How had he come to the crossing so quickly?

  • Author

Axel looked over Roxas. He put his head on his shouler and his arms followed. He then picked Roxas up. He was scared of course. Why...why did this have to happen when he was gone..? Worst of all, Vexen is gone...

"Damn it Roxas!" He started to feel tears in his eyes. It can't be the end, it CANT! He walked into a Dark Corridor. Only one other person could help him.

"NAMINE!!!" He yelled.

Roxas groaned, lolling his head back in distress. This couldn't be happening...Zexion frowned, hitting Roxas on the head with his closed book.

"Don't be so immature." He said, leaning back against an invisible wall, looking up mournfully. How long had it been since he "died" how long had it been since he saw him. At that...his chest gave a painful thump.

.

.

.

Namine jumped, clearly startled as her pencil broke, a hole being made in her paper. She was about to complain but she saw Roxas and knew: Something was very wrong.

"Axel? What's happening?"

  • Author

Axel's voice shook. He placed Roxas down on the shiny white floor. "I-I don't Namine! I went on a mission and...and when I came back he...he-" Axel couldn't finish. He was so worried and frantic.

"Just help him Namine, PLEASE!!" He couldn't coantain himself anymore. Roxas was all he was... His everything!

Namine shook, hesitating, before leaning down to observe Roxas. She gulped, paling when she realized what was wrong.

"H-He's in a coma....maybe because of Sora, regaining his memories." She admitted, knowing that's not what Axel wanted to hear right now. Not when they were so close.

.

.

.

Roxas noticed Zexion's look, frowning at it. He could understand being here and all, with being in a coma. But...

"Why're you here then? You're dead." Zexion stiffened, his eyes showing he was taken off guard.

"I...I'm waiting." He said dryly, feelig that pain again.

"S-Sora...?"

Axel felt a mix of pain and anger. He didn't want Sora to have him. Not now. Not ever. Taking away Roxas was like taking the closest thing he had to a heart. No way he was going to take that sitting down. Roxas was too precious for that.

He grit his teeth and stood up. "I'm not going to let him have Roxas, Namine."

Namine struggled to keep her breath even. She hoped Axel wouldn't destroy her pictures, the memories fueling Sora. He couldn't.

"Axel...there's nothing we couldn't do. I can't...I can't go against my orders." She mumbled, blinking away tears.

.

.

.

"For Demyx." Roxas didn't have to ask to know it was true. Zexion blinked, using his hair to hide his eyes. Because Roxas would be shocked to see him crying.

"...I never toldhim."

  • Author

Axel's eyes widened. He couldn't believe what Namine was saying.

"Just...tell me he'll be okay...PLEASE." He felt tears in his eyes. "But also, don't lie to me and say everything will be alright..."

His tears were saying what needed to be said for him. He leaned into Roxas. Loving him was hard to accept but losing him would be even harder...

"How dare you do what you've done to me..?"

Namine bit her lip, closing her eyes as tears dripped from her eyes. This scene was to much, proving that life as a Nobody wasn't fair.

"I'm s-so sorry...." And then, the most miraculous thing happened. Roxas moaned lightly, his eyes fluttering open, his face pained. He was awake. He wasn't dead.

"A-Axel..?" Roxas was aware of the tears in his own eyes.

.

.

.

Zexion frowned, watching the teen fade away. Vexen shook his head from the shadows.

"Zexion...from what you did...you can't wait."

"I know. I told him to tell Dem. He will. I can...I can die now."
