Plot

After Axel fades away in kh2, Roxas is left stranded without a best friend. Now being one with Sora, he is able to have feelings of his own and he dearly misses Axel greatly. Even as a Nobody, Roxas would do anything for Axel. But even though Roxas didn't know this, Axel would have done anything for him too. Neither of them realized the love that each of them had for one another. Just sitting on the clock tower day by day, was nerveracking. Roxas always knew that someday he would have the courage enough to confess his love for Axel but he didn't think that Axel would have faded away. But now that his best friend was gone, Roxas knew that the chance of having a relationship would be gone forever.

That is until one day when Roxas is sitting on top of the clock tower and notices that someone is staring at him from around the corner. The man has red hair just like Axel did. Getting up and getting a better view of the man it is then that Roxas notices that the man indeed has more of a resemblance to Axel even though the features are not exact. Afterwards, Roxas realizes the promise that Axel and him made to eachother:"...let's me again...in the next life..." Roxas then realized that Axel kept his promise. Somehow, Axel was able to return to his somebody and he was now coming to see Roxas. Somehow Axel has been reborn.

Now that Roxas was finally able to see Axel or Lea face to face would he finally confess his love for him?

"Man...I really got it today..."

A boy, around the age of fifteen, sighed. His fiery red hair glowing with the sunset's orange light. His fair skin bruised and scratched slightly from the beating he got from the local bully, Seifer.

The readhead's name was Lea.

He opened his sea-green eyes and put on an angry look.

"One of these days, Seifer..."

Lea walked up the stairs to his favorite hangout spot, the Twilight Tower. He always went there when he had nowhere else to go. Like a mother who comforts you when you get hurt or are rejected.

Only, he didn't have a mother. Or a family for that matter.

He figured that was why Seifer teased him...

I'm not good at making the plots for rps are I? xD

Lea was lost in his train of thought. He had bought some sea calt icecream ahead of time so he was eating it as he rememebered that dream he had the night previously. It was about a boy that he could've sworn he knew but he figured he couldn't have because he didn't even know the boy's name or at least he couldn't remember it. He and the boy were in a dark; mysterious room. The boy had a weapon that looked like a big key and they were fighting. At the end of the fight, Lea found himself saying "let's me again in the next life". The boy's response was "yeah, I'll be waiting." That was a promise that he had made to the boy but he still didn't understand why he was having the dream. Did he really meet this boy and if so, why couldn't he remember him?

His thoughts ceased when he felt the flat surface of the ledge. Lea smiled as the warm sun comforted him with it's rays. He turned the corner, about to sit in his usual spot only...

There, sat a boy. He looked like he was Lea's age. Golden hair and ocean blue eyes.... The boy looked familiar and for some reason, Lea felt his heart stop.

Suddenly, what seemed like a jolt hit him. He slammed his hands to his head, trying to stop it from hurting.

"What the hell is going on..?!" He murmered.

The painful headache started to decline. He walked up to the boy with one hand still on his head and asked, "Who're you?".

The boy turned around, surprised to see Lea. The boy, himself, thought that he was alone. "Oh," the boy replied. "I'm Roxas." Lea heard him however, he was not quick to react. The moment the boy turned around, Lea realized that he looked more familiar then he orginally thought. Come to think of it...was this the boy...that was from his dream. "Roxas," Lea answered trailing off a bit at the end. Roxas got up from his sitting position. "Are...you...ok?" Roxas asked. "Yeah," Leas replied putting his hand back on his forhead. Lea felt disoriented at the moment. He knew this boy; he did. And the dream....it had been...real. "I'm...uh..Lea," Lea replied as he sat down on the ledge. He couldn't bare to stand up any longer because he felt as if he was going to tip over if he continued to stand.

Roxas smiled a little, "Nice to meet you."

He turned his gaze back to the sun and sighed happily. He pulled out a sea-salt ice cream bar and started to nibble on it. Roxas had been on the tower before but suddenly, when Lea sat down, it felt...different... Like something was missing..

He took out another bar and offered it to Lea.

"Want some?"

Yeah, this definetly felt right.

It was as if this was something that had happened before. But neither of them could remember a time that it had happened. They sat in silence for awhile, eating their sea salt icecream. Then Lea broke the silence, "Hey," he replied. "Do you ever wonder why the sun sets red?" Roxas felt indifferent. He had never thought about it before but for some reason he realized the answer. "I think you've..." Roxas began, "Told me this before..." "Hmm?" was Lea's reply. "How could that be we just met?" Roxas looked to the sunset. "I-I don't know..." Roxas answered.

Lea put on a confused expression.

"Well...Light is made up of lots of colors. And out of all those colors, red is the one that travels the farthest."

At that moment, Lea turned to Roxas but was surprised with what he saw. When he turned to look at him, he could have sworn Roxas wore a black leather coat. But when he blinked, his appearance was back to normal.

What the...

After Lea told him why the sun sets red, Roxas felt as if he was expecting Lea to say that; it was as if he already knew and the Lea told him before. Roxas looked up Lea and all of a sudden he was wearing a black coat. Roxas couldn't believe what he was seeing. He blinked his eyes. Then it was back to normal. 'What's...going on...' Roxas thought to himself. He finished eating his icecream and continued to stare at the sunset. 'Light is made up of many colors,' Roxas thought to himelf. 'It's the first time he's said this to me...or is it that he's told me this before...'

Lea flashed a grin to Roxas. The sun made his green eyes sparkle and it cast a glow around his skin. "Well, Roxas. I...dunno but, you seem pretty cool!"

In fact, in this short time, Lea felt like he was more welcome with Roxas...He felt...home... It was like everything was right. Lea felt really happy. Happy that he got beat up by Seifer so he could meet Roxas, even. He wanted to stay like that forever, just like this.

"I really think you're cool too," Roxas told Lea. Bur thinking to himself, Roxas thought, 'I know you're cool because I know I talked to you before... I know I have.' He looked at Lea and smiled. Once they were finished eating their icecream they still sat there with eachother and talked. Roxas felt that the more he talked with Lea the more he wanted to stay with him. He reminded Roxas of someone that he had deeply cared about in...a life before this one... However, he started to get late, and Roxas realized that he couldn't stay with Lea forever... like he really wanted to....

Lea's smile kept slipping away as the hours passed. Not because of Roxas, but because of the setting sun... He'd have to leave soon... Back to that garage some nice neighbors let him stay in. It was one of the perks of losing your parents, he guessed.

"Uhm...Roxas? I know it might sound wierd, seeing as we first met but...." Lea hadn't felt like they had just met though. Roxas made him feel....whole, in a way...

"Wanna sleep over?"

  • Author

Roxas was surprised that Lea had asked him but he didn't mind it. "Sure," Roxas replied smiling. "I'd like that very much." He saw Lea smile back. "I'm glad to have met you again I-" once Roxas realized that he had said he was glad to have met Lea AGAIN he had to stop himself. Lea had a puzzled expression on his face. "I mean," Roxas began again. "I'm happy to have met you....uh yeah... for the...first time." Lea smiled again and Roxas smiled back. "So, were do you sleep exactly?" Roxas asked getting up. He helped Lea get up but Lea accidently tripped and fell into and before Roxas knew it, he was pinned against the wall of the clock tower.

Lea's eyes widened. Roxas was so close... He could even feel the tiny breaths the blonde took...

He noticed every one of Roxas' features. From his oceanic blue eyes to the faint tint of red on his cheeks to his quivering bottom lip. Lea couldn't help it... A fire so intense burned inside his heart. He wanted to lean forward, cupping Roxas' face and...

He slid away, turning around so Roxas couldn't see his expression.

"My house. It's the white garage in front of the ice-cream shop."

As Lea turned away, Roxas was actually disappointed. One might think it was too soon for something like this but to Roxas he wanted Lea to lean into him. Roxas had the feeling like he had wanted this for a very long time and he was just waiting for this moment to come. So, yes, it was a big disappointment. "Oh," Roxas replied trying to act like it was nothing. "O...kay. Well, let's go then." Roxas attempted a smile but Lea knew that something wasn't right and Roxas could see the expression on the man's face. He quickly changed the subkect. "So, will you're parents be ok with this," he asked.

Lea stiffened up and his eyes widened. He let out a deep sigh and shot a sad look at Roxas.

"Dont have any."

It always hurt to think about it. Lea did his best to avoid that subject with anyone. Howver, he couldn't ignore or lie to Roxas. He felt OBLIGED to tell him. Lea started to walk down the steps, wrapping on arm around Roxas' shoulders to help him keep up.

Roxas was surprised that Lea didn't really have a real home. Of course he felt bad for him but he also, somehow had the sense of peance that Lea would always have a home here in his heart. If anything, he really didn't care where Lea and him slept. As long as they can sleep togather then Roxas wouldn't mind. When Lea draped an arm around his shoulder, he actually welcomed it warmly. In all honesty, he was hoping that Lea would come close to him because he wanted to be close to Lea. Roxas still couldn't explain why but that didn't matter to him. As long as he could be with Lea, everything was ok.

Lea walked through the streets of Twilight Town. Is was getting kind of dark so he couldn't see well. His hamd slipped from Roxas' shoulder to his hand. He didn't want to lose him in this darkness.

Lea peered through the dark when he saw a glimmer of light. The ice cream shop. He smiled and pulled Roxas' hand. "C'mon Roxas! It's right over here!" He reached the front door and let go of Roxas' hand to pull out his key.

"You can have the bed. I'll take the floor." He said as he pushed the door open.
