Well, I am practicing, and this time I tried one based on the anime Elfen Lied. Please don't flame me too hard, I am still learning. I'm just looking for critiques, how I can improve and such.

I guess you asked for criticism so well, here I go. Even though this is way better than your first try, you still have some things to work at, the stock doesn't really blend with the background, there are some ways to work that out with filters and effects that you will learn with practice, aside from that you could also work a bit more on the final look of the signature, maybe messing around a bit with the levels and curves (I'm not sure how they are called in gimp) but you're developing well. At the goos point, I liked the font choice for the text and the color. <--obcessed with red
