Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora took his cheek off the top of Kairi's head, also loosening his hold on her. He turned his head and looked in the same direction as Kairi, seeing Riku on the beach. His smile faded some, the teen feeling more serious. There was work to be done.
Since Sora's hold on Kairi loosened anyway, she decided that now would be a good time to give him some breathing room. The girl pulled back slightly from their embrace, though she stayed right in front of him. She wasn't about to put space between them now.

Sora looked back at Kairi in front of him, and the look in her eyes made a faint smile reappear on his lips. He was so glad to see her, even if he wasn't here just to visit. Unfortunately, though, he really did need to tell her why he was there so that they could get down to business.
Kairi's smile turned into one of softness and gentleness as she gazed at the boy she loved, offering it to him. She really wasn't sure why he was here, but she wasn't about to ask. It didn't matter, did it? Just as long as he was home.

Sora felt like he was about to shatter the moment, but he really had no choice. The brunet glanced in Riku's direction before he looked back at Kairi, his smile softening so that it barely existed as he told her something. "...We're not just back for a visit," he told her softly. "There's something that we need to get done right away."
Kairi's smile immediately disappeared, her eyes then becoming concerned...and a little sad. "Oh..." she replied, not really knowing what else to say. So after that, she just remained silent, waiting for Sora to continue. What did they need to do that required them to come back here?

Sora saw the sadness appear in Kairi's eyes, and he instinctively lifted a hand and tucked back some of her hair. "We, uh, actually need your help..." he confessed, glancing at the ground before he looked back up at Kairi in front of him. He lifted a hand and ran it over the back of his head, the other down by his side now.
Kairi felt her worries fade a little bit at the touch, but Sora's statement only brought curiosity out of her. And surely it showed. "With what?" she asked. They needed her help? What could she possibly do?

Sora lowered his hand away from Kairi's face, looking back up at her as he explained. "We know where Aqua is," he said. "She's stuck in the Realm of Darkness. And in order to get her back into the realm, we need to open the Door To Light." He had told Kairi about how her letter had triggered him to open the Door before, but if she didn't remember that, he would explain.
Kairi's eyes grew a little at the news, trying to absorb it all in the few seconds of silence. Aqua... "The Door to Light?" she asked. She only remembered it opening once, and that was when Riku and Sora came back to the Islands a long time ago.

Sora nodded, seeing that he needed to explain. "Last time when Riku and I were stranded in that Realm, reading your letter triggered something inside of me so that I could open that Door and come back here," he said, referring to Destiny Islands. "Riku thought you might be able to help me do it again so that Aqua could use the Door."
Kairi nodded in acknowledgment. "Yeah, of course," she said softly, offering a faint smile. "I'll help." She never had much to do with other journeys or missions, and now that she had the opportunity to help, she wasn't going to deny it.
  • Author
Sora nodded again, a smile forming on his lips. "Alright." He wasn't surprised Kairi said she would help; it wasn't like she would ever say no to helping another human being.
"When would you like to start?" Kairi asked then. By the way she understood things, the boys came back to get help immediately. So her guess was that they wanted to get Aqua back as soon as possible. The other reason: she was trapped in the Realm of Darkness, which was dangerous. "The sooner, the better. Right?"
  • Author
"Yeah," Sora said with a nod. If he and Kairi were going to do it right now, though, he wanted them to go down to the beach. If Aqua entered this world like he and Riku had, then he and Kairi would be right there waiting to greet her.
"Okay." Kairi nodded slightly along with her spoken word, ready when Sora was. If she was going to help Sora open the Door, she was going to have to be right beside him to do it. The letter may have been her presence in the past, but she was sure it would work now that she would be right next to him.

Sora looked in the direction of the beach, his eyes landing on the place where Kairi had been waiting for him and Riku. "Let's go down to the beach," he suggested, looking back at Kairi when he was finished speaking.
Kairi nodded once more in agreement, briefly glancing in that direction. Riku was down there, so at least she would get to say hi to him once they were on the beach. The girl looked back at Sora for a second before stepping past him, making her way across the bridge toward the shack.
  • Author
Sora followed a few steps behind Kairi, but when he was on the bridge, he decided to take a shortcut. He jumped off the side and smoothly landed on his feet, the teen walking over in the direction of Riku. It was time to bring Aqua back to the Realm of Light.

Kairi caught onto a soft thud and turned her head as she made her way over the bridge. She smiled softly when she saw Sora heading toward their best friend, but she continued on her way in silence.

Riku had his hands in his pockets, and upon catching movement out of the corner of his eye, he turned his head. He nodded to Sora when he noticed it was him, briefly glancing up at the bridge to see Kairi reaching the door that led to the shack. "I guess you convinced her to help," Riku said, moving his sight back to his best friend.

  • Author
"Yeah," Sora said with a nod, reaching his best friend after a few seconds. Obviously it wasn't hard to do, and he and Riku hadn't expected anything to go wrong. Kairi cared about people, so naturally she would want to help whenever she could.
"Not that it took that much convincing," Riku said with a faint smirk. Kairi would never refuse to help someone in harm's way, much like Aqua. She was too nice not to do that.
  • Author
"Of course not," Sora said, a smirk appearing on his lips. He could tell that Riku was thinking the same way that he was, so there was no point wasting his breath and explaining something that they both already knew.

Riku's smirk stayed intact for a moment, his gaze then turning over to the shack. Kairi was just walking out, and he lifted an arm, offering her a small wave.

Kairi immediately smiled upon seeing Riku, the girl waving back with glee. She was glad to see him back home as well, even if it was just for a short time. As long as they were safe...that was all that mattered.

  • Author
Sora noticed Riku wave to Kairi, but he didn't bother following his gaze to her. Instead, he looked up at the sky, his smirk no longer present on his lips. How was he supposed to do this? Last time, the Door to Light had appeared and he didn't even know he had a part in opening it until later, when Riku said it was his heart. How could he purposely open it?
