Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine and Kairi arrived together, and it didn't take long for them to reach the shack. The blonde noticed a few people by the tree, and she was pleased that she thought she saw Sora up there with Riku. Were the two of them alright now?

Roxas was already up on the bridge, having gotten here just before the others. He heard a door open and looked over his shoulder, seeing the girls approaching the shack and going inside. But he turned his gaze forward again, waving to Riku when he made eye contact.

Riku lifted a hand in a slight wave before his arms crossed over his chest again, the older boy looking at the sun as it started to lower toward the horizon.

Sora looked up, hearing footsteps on the bridge but not turning around to see who it was. Whoever it was, they were coming over, so he would find out soon enough. He looked out towards the sun, seeing it get lower in the sky.
Roxas made his way toward the edge of the islet, glancing over at the second person against the tree. "Hey, Sora," he said with a nod. He then proceeded to lower himself to the ground, letting his feet dangle over the ledge, getting comfortable.

"Hi," Sora said, nodding slightly even though Roxas couldn't see him now. That was one friend who was here, and he couldn't help but wonder where the girls were. But they would come. He knew that they would.
Kairi walked quietly beside Namine, starting across the bridge. She saw the boys up ahead, and she had to admit...it made her happy to see them beside each other. Maybe...things would start to get better.

When Namine got on the islet, she turned to the two boys by the tree and offered them a small smile and a wave. She noticed Sora nod in return, and that made her small smile widen a little bit. She kept moving forward, stopping next to Roxas and sitting down beside him.

Roxas turned his head, looking up at Namine as she sat down next to him. He then smiled softly at her, glad that she was here. However, he didn't say anything; he didn't really need to.

Kairi saw Namine go over to Roxas, and she looked over at the tree, deciding that she would sit by her two boys. The girl silently walked over, first passing Riku, then Sora. She propped herself up on the tree next to Sora, sitting like she usually did before turning her eyes toward them both. She smiled faintly in greeting, not really able to help herself.

Riku nodded to Kairi, his eyes on her as she sat on the tree. But then he returned his gaze to the sunset, watching it in silence.

Sora noticed Kairi sit by him, and that made him smile weakly. He looked at her for a second before he turned back to the sunset, knowing that he didn't need to speak right now.
Kairi had her hands on either side of her, resting against the tree. She turned her gaze to the sunset, watching it in silence. She subconsciously swung her feet back and forth as they dangled in the air, just enjoying the sense of peace this moment brought.

Namine let her legs hang off the side of the islet like Roxas, and her eyes stayed on the sunset. She couldn't help but smile softly, able to tell that things were a little better with Sora, Kairi, and Riku. She was glad for that; they had gone through so much trouble lately, and they deserved happiness.

A few days later...

Kairi stood on the play island, her eyes on a certain boy not too far off. Things had been going well for the most part since everyone made up with one another, but something didn't feel right. She was concerned for Sora, who looked awfully exhausted lately...

Sora sat on the shores of the play island, his knees up slightly and arms by his side. He didn't notice Kairi staring at him, his eyes half-open as he looked down at the ground. He was so tired, he just wanted to fall asleep right there on the beach.
Kairi was tempted to approach Sora about what was going on, but she didn't. Now wouldn't be a good time to come up with assumptions, after everything else. So instead, she observed from her spot near the dock.
  • Author
Sora fought the urge to yawn as he lowered his legs and leaned back, laying down on the sand and letting his eyes shut. He could sleep now...Right? There wasn't anything going on around him, and even if there was, his friends would probably let him rest. They were...careful around him, since he acted a little differently without the Keyblade.

Riku got out of his boat, seeing Kairi staring at Sora in silence. He wondered why, but the only thing he could come up with was that she was thinking about how things were between them. But when she waved him over upon noticing him, he thought differently. Riku descended the steps quietly and walked over to the girl. "What's up?" he asked softly.

"I'm worried about Sora," Kairi whispered, knowing how trained Sora's ears were. She didn't want him to hear, for obvious reasons. "He looks...really, really tired lately."

  • Author
But of course, Sora wasn't a completely different person. It wasn't like he was snapping at his friends or lashing out at them. He was more withdrawn and quiet. He didn't smile too much, and he often dismissed himself from group activities. He really couldn't help it; he was so tired, he didn't feel like doing much.

Riku looked over at Sora, seeing him lying down. "Looks like it," he said in agreement. "You're not the only one that's noticed." He saw it too, for the past couple days. He was actually a little worried...

"You?" Kairi asked, glancing up at her taller friend. Upon seeing Riku nod, she looked at Sora again, gazing quietly. Somehow, that didn't really surprise her; Riku was always really observant.

  • Author
Sora was unaware that he was being stared at as he brought up his two hands, setting them behind his head in an attempt to get more comfortable. The warm sun was also helping with that, making him feel sleepier than he already was.
Kairi wondered what was wrong. Why was Sora so tired lately? Was something keeping him from sleeping at night? Or was there something that was disturbing him? She certainly hoped he was alright...
  • Author
Sora exhaled a soft breath, his eyes staying shut. He remembered when he used to lay on this beach all the time, and he always fell asleep. And then Kairi would stand and stare at him and scare him half to death whenever he woke up.
Riku's gaze lingered on Sora for a moment, but then he looked at Kairi. He could tell she was contemplating something, and he was wondering himself is she would go over there. She usually woke Sora up whenever he made his naps known.
  • Author
And then, after she woke him up, Kairi would always call Sora a lazy bum. Even if they weren't doing anything and he was relaxing for fun, she called him names! I really miss those days...he thought, almost wishing that he would open his eyes and see Kairi hovering over him for old time's sake.
Kairi pursed her lips in thought. Even if things weren't the same between her and Sora, that didn't mean that she didn't care the same amount she had before. The girl glanced down at the ground before looking back up at the boy she still loved, then deciding to move her feet. She started over toward Sora in silence.
  • Author
Despite his desires, Sora kept his eyes shut. He was getting off track here. He needed to stop thinking about things and move forward. That was what he tried to do the past few days, and he couldn't stop doing that now. First, he needed sleep.
