Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light lifted a hand to her head, catching sight of what happened. Riku... It was common sense not to approach an animal when they were eating; they were always hostile about somebody coming and taking the grass. It wasn't just chocobos that did that, so she assumed Riku would apply his knowledge of other animals to this situation. Now he would need to get bandaged up, since they couldn't cast Cure. ...Some day this is turning out to be.
Riku turned around, looking at Lightning from his position. "I thought you said they were intelligent, not violent," he told her, then glancing down at his hand. Yeah, there was blood. Ow...

Light took her hand away from her face, composing herself as she walked over to Riku. "They're also paranoid when it comes to food," she said, taking a hold of Riku's arm and leading him a few steps away from the chocobo that injured his hand. She stopped him when they were a safe distance away, her eyes going to the bite. It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't good, either.
Riku looked down at his injured hand, frustrated. "I like dogs better," he grumbled. Of course, Jasmine was an obedient animal. He doubted chocobos were the same.

Lightning sighed. Maybe it's best for us to just go home after this. She wasn't having fun after that parade and she thought about her two crystallized friends, and Riku wasn't having fun now that he was bit. "C'mon," she murmured, grabbing one of his wrists and starting to lead him to the person selling merchandise. They'd have a first aid kit on them.
Riku followed Lightning naturally, though he saw that she had her eyes set on someone that worked here. "Can't I just use a potion?" he whispered, his eyes resting on her. It would be a lot easier, wouldn't it?

Light silently shook her head. Not here. How many normal, regular people carried around potions on them? They weren't illegal to use, but he would draw attention to himself if he didn't take care of this like a normal person. The worker obviously saw them already, because he was getting out the first aid kit for them.
Riku sighed, but he didn't argue any further. Maybe Lightning had a point, even though she hadn't directly said anything; he still understood. He saw the employee take out the first aid kit and hold it out for Lightning to take. Of course, they didn't resist glancing at his hand and spotting the blood. It wasn't much, but it was still enough to be noticed.

Claire mumbled a thanks to the worker and accepted the first aid kit before she turned and led Riku to an area where she could clean up his wound. She didn't want the children in the area seeing the blood and getting scared of the chocobos. They normally didn't attack like that unless somebody did something stupid to provoke them.
Riku let Lightning lead him away once again, and the second they were free of any chocobos or people, he took his wrist from her grasp. He instead leaned against the fence nearby, lifting his hand to examine it. "Well...guess I'm not an animal person," he said, trying to lighten the mood at least a little bit. But then again, he was speaking the truth. He only really liked Jazz, who was the only animal he knew of that liked him back. Then again, he wasn't around animals much. He couldn't exactly tell.

Lightning "hmphed", setting the box on a flat part of the fence and opening it up. She saw the disinfectant spray and pulled it out while holding her other hand out for Riku to set his hand in. This would hurt, obviously. But it needed to be done.
Riku noticed Lightning's hand out of the corner of his eye, and he lifted his head to see that she wanted his. He exhaled a heavy breath and set it in hers, though he made sure not to get any blood on her. He knew this would hurt, so he was ready. Get it over with.

Despite Light being frustrated with the circumstances, she gently held onto Riku's hand and then sprayed it with the spray. She knew that it stung, but Riku could surely handle this after he had so many battle wounds in the past. When she was done with the spray, she put it back in the box and looked for the gauze, her hand releasing Riku's as she did so.
Riku made a face as his hand stung from the spray, but he kept in the grunt that he almost released. It was just a bite; it wasn't even close to a gash from a sword or a Heartless. He would be fine. ...Stupid bird.

Lightning got out the gauze and noticed that Riku let his hand stay where it was, even if her hand wasn't holding it up anymore. She wordlessly started wrapping it, doing it gently while letting her bangs hide her eyes. Obviously she had plenty of experience with this, and not because of doing it on other people. She bandaged herself up a lot because she got wounded often at work. Or, at least, that was how it used to be. When I had a job.
Riku watched Lightning's process of wrapping his hand with gauze, though he let his eyes rest on her face after a few seconds. He couldn't see her eyes, but he could tell by the tense silence that things weren't completely alright. I ruined the date...of course. He should have known.

Light felt Riku's gaze on her, so she didn't look up as she finished up with the wrapping. She held the extra gauze in her hand as she reached into the box and grabbed a pair of scissors and a pin. After cutting the extra gauze and putting it into the box, she pinned the gauze so it would stay on Riku's hand. "Better?" she asked, finally lifting her gaze to him.
Riku nodded once, looking from Lightning to his hand. He turned it, looking at the gauze wrapped neatly over his skin. Well, this could have gone better. That just meant he had to make up for it...somehow.

Lightning nodded faintly, tearing her eyes away from Riku's as she looked back to the kit. She took a small step over and shut it, latching it so it wouldn't open up back accident. She started over the way she came, knowing it was time to give this back to the vender and then...Then what? She didn't know, but she hadn't wanted to go to the amusement park in the first place. Did Riku?
Riku stayed where he was, watching Light go. He tried to think of something he could do to make her happier; he could tell she wasn't having the most fun. That was more than disappointing, but he couldn't show it. He had to come up with something that could make up for what just happened, and the sour aura that seemed to be hanging over them.

I'll ask him about it in a minute, Lightning decided, handing the first aid kit back to the employee. They asked if Riku was okay, and she said yeah. He was fine, though he seemed bitter about the chocobo biting him. Maybe it was a mistake bringing him back here. I should make it up to him...
Riku's hand curled into a loose fist as he continued to lean against the fence, the boy crossing his arms over his broader chest for the time being. He stared down at the ground before he caught a chocobo walk by, his eyes following it. It was then that it stopped and looked over at him. He didn't move toward it this time, though the roles seemed to be switched. The large bird slowly approached him, and Riku was tempted to wave it away. However, he didn't move, not wanting to scare it. This thing better not bite me too...

Light started back over after handing off the kit, though her eyes immediately found her boyfriend and the chocobo. Looks like I may need that first aid kit again, she thought, continuing to walk over but doing it slowly. Riku obviously wasn't very charming to the chocobos, but that was to be expected. He did have a pretty cold exterior.
Riku stared into the dark eyes of the chocobo, which came closer and seemed to be sniffing him. He didn't move, knowing better than to make any sudden movements. It made a noise, opening its beak to speak. Of course, he didn't understand it, and he didn't react. He'd seen things more terrifying, if this thing was meant to scare him. But...it didn't seem like that was it at all. The bird actually moved closer to him, lowering its head to look at the gauze that was visible on his hand. Riku's eyebrows furrowed in confusion. What, were these things being nice to him now?
  • Author
Lightning stopped a few feet away, seeing the curious chocobo lift its head and look over to her when she spoke. "Riku, let's go." The bird wasn't going to hurt him, so he could just walk away and he'd be fine. The birds should have understood by now that not all people who came to this area were interested in petting them, so it wouldn't pursue Riku if he walked away.
