Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku looked over at Lightning when the chocobo did, and he nodded once in response. He lowered his arms and stepped to the side, that way he could get past the chocobo. He walked a few feet before looking back at it, seeing it staring at him. "Hm," he hummed, facing forward again as he kept walking to get to Light. That was weird.

Light glanced from Riku to the chocobo, seeing it finally run off when Riku was closer to her. She turned around and started walking, recalling where the exit was. "Amusement park next?" she asked over her shoulder, hands curling into light fists. Amusement parks never gave her any amusement, but if Riku enjoyed them, then they would go on some of the rides.
"Only if you're up for it," Riku said, his focus forward as he kept walking. Tonight was about her, not him. He brought her out so she could have a good time. Whatever she wanted to do, he would tag along.

That wasn't what I wanted to hear, Lightning thought, faintly shaking her head. "I'll go if you want to," she said, trying not to reveal a preference. She realized Riku was trying to do whatever she found enjoyable, but she didn't like places like this in the first place, so coming here wasn't the best idea. Serah probably thought she would enjoy it with her boyfriend by her side, but there were some things not even Riku could change.
Riku thought about it for a minute, deciding that now probably wasn't the best time to ride anything. Besides, Sora would kill me for going on any without him. "Nah," he said with a small shake of his head. "No amusement park." He would pass for today.

"Okay," Light said with a small nod, stepping into the same pod they came down in so they could return to the central area again. If they weren't going to the amusement park, though, then what were they going to do? There was nothing else to do in the City of Dreams, and now that she was here again, she realized why she avoided this place. It wasn't all that special.
Riku stepped in after Lightning, the door to the vessel closing behind him. "So, what do you wanna do now?" he asked, crossing his arms as he waited for the vessel to take them back to the central part of Nautilus. He was clueless for once.

Lightning shrugged, sitting down on the seat since it would be a few minutes. "There's nothing else to do here, so..." So yeah. Riku's guess was just as good as hers, since she assumed they wouldn't stick around any longer if there was nothing to do. She supposed they could go back to her house, but Riku purposely wanted to keep ehr out for the day, so...
"Lame," Riku said, leaning against one of the walls. "This place obviously isn't what it's made out to be." Serah said it was amazing, and he had to admit that it was pretty cool. But...it was more sight-seeing than any actual activities. That wasn't really his thing. And it clearly wasn't Lightning's either.

Again, Lightning shrugged faintly. "Normal people like it, but obviously we're not normal." They were both the quiet type, and fighters. They didn't enjoy walking around and browsing a mall, feeding chocobos, or going to amusement parks. Serah should have known better than to recommend that Lightning go to this place after she made it pretty clear she was going to steer clear of it if she had any choice.
Riku smirked, though he didn't know if it was bitter or in good nature. "Clearly not," he said in agreement. They were far from normal, for more than one reason. But...there was still one more plan for the night, and that was dinner. Of course, that only mattered if Lightning was hungry.
  • Author
"Anything else on your agenda, captain?" Light asked with an arched brow, recalling Riku called her by that name earlier. It was still pretty early, so unless they went somewhere far away for dinner, it was a little too early to consider that. But then again, she didn't mind eating early. It was up to Riku what they did.
"How does dinner sound?" Riku asked, his eyes finding Lightning as he pushed himself away from the wall. The door just opened so that meant it was time for them to exit. Of course, now they could either go back to Light's or go out to eat. It didn't matter to him.
  • Author
"Sounds good," Light said with a small nod, standing up and walking out of the pod first. If he had some place in mind, then they could go there and eat. If not...They could always try to wing it. But if "winging it" turned out like today did with the City of Dreams, then it would be a long night.
Riku followed Lightning out, though he didn't hesitate grabbing her hand with the one that wasn't wrapped up. "Lucky for you, I thought ahead this time," he said. He actually looked into this while he had a little time. Nautilus, that was just him trusting Serah's word. Dinner was different.
  • Author
"Oh yeah?" Lightning asked with an arched brow. She looked over at Riku as she held his hand back, silently encouraging him to say what he had planned for dinner. Some restaurant in Nautilus? She doubted that, considering he hadn't known anything about the place earlier. But if Serah recommended a restaurant here, it was possible. There was no way for Light to know.
Riku nodded as they walked, the two of them starting to leaving the larger crowds behind. "You like Italian, right?" he asked, glancing down at the woman he loved. If she did, then this would be perfect.
  • Author
Lightning scrunched her nose, looking up at Riku. "No, I hate it," she lied. But she knew Riku would see through the lie, because not too long ago, she had said Italian was her favorite kind of food. She was just fooling around with him for one of the first times of the day.
Riku lifted an eyebrow, a small smirk appearing on his face as he squeezed Light's hand. "Right," he said, going along with it for only a second. "Either way, we're going. I already made reservations." He looked forward again, spotting the exit just up ahead. Of course, they would have to take a train back, but that was alright.
  • Author
"Hmph. Well aren't you considerate?" Light asked with an arched brow, smirking at Riku faintly. That may have been sarcasm due to their playful conversation, but in reality, he was considerate. After all, he made reservations for a place that had her favorite food. She was surprised he remembered what kind of food she liked, since she said it in passing.
Riku only smiled, walking with Lightning to the train. They only had to wait a few moments before the train arrived to take them to Bodhum. He made reservations there, because he knew how tired Light got after they ate out once. He usually was the same way. Being in close proximity to her home would be a better situation.

This time on the train, Lightning and Riku both sat down, since there was room. She surprisingly allowed herself to rest her head on his shoulder, even if there was the possibility they'd run into somebody she knew who saw her as somebody other than a tough, stoic soldier. The facade didn't matter so much anymore. After the train ride, they walked the distance to the restaurant and were shown to their table.
Riku sat down at the table for two, his seat across from Lightning's. The place wasn't too formal, but it wasn't too casual either. Regardless, he had faith in the food and had a feeling she would enjoy at least this part of the night. He started looking through the menu, unsure of what he wanted to eat. He forgot to look at the menu when he checked this place out.

Lightning opened up her menu and glanced at it for a moment before she looked back up to Riku, something striking her. "You don't have your meal planned out?" she asked with an arched brow. That was a little surprising, since he had apparently planned this much of the day. Apparently he wasn't feeling too organized today.
"Uh..." Riku smiled sheepishly, looking up at Lightning before he scratched his cheek. "About that...I forgot to check the menu when I made reservations." He was in a bit of a hurry, since he made them when he left Light's house the day before and had to get to the Islands to work. But it would still work out. He had plenty of cash.
