Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light just smirked faintly before she looked back down to her menu. "At least you remembered to put on a shirt today," she murmured. It seemed like there was a lot he was just diving into today without looking ahead. Nautilus...the chocobos...and she had to tell him to take a train, too. He clearly hadn't thought ahead too much about any of this.
Riku smiled more crookedly at the comment, one he easily heard. "I don't think you would have minded that much," he mumbled, then clearing his throat as he prepared for a kick under the table or something. He'd caught her gazing at him a few times when they were on the beach or in bed; he wasn't blind.

Lightning fought the urge to kick Riku, knowing that was what he expected her to do. "I would have minded," she murmured. "Because then all the other girls would have been looking at you." And of course, that wouldn't have been alright with her. She knew what a prize Riku was, and she didn't want to lose him to any other girl out there.
Riku's smile faded a little, though it was still present as he lifted his sight to Lightning. He wasn't sure how to respond to that at first, though he knew that she had nothing to worry about. He wasn't about to kick her to the curb for someone he barely knew. He wasn't like that. "...The only girl I want looking at me is you." It was flattering that she said that, and that there probably would be some truth behind that statement. But he meant what he said too.

Light smiled weakly, glancing up at Riku before she looked back down to the menu. "Better stop wearing shirts that are so tight, then," she advised softly. "There were a lot of girls in Nautilus checking you out." She noticed it when they were on the train going there and whenever they were in the mall. That hadn't helped with her attitude that day.
Riku didn't know how to respond to that either, and he instantly looked down at his black shirt. Yeah...it was pretty tight. But, he just wanted to somehow accentuate his muscles in front of Lightning. He was still working out in the gym, trying to get stronger for her. Was he catching her attention, or just a bunch of other girls' attention?

"...But you do look attractive today," Lightning mumbled shyly, her smile widening as she flipped a page on the menu. She liked the tighter shirts, but so did the other girls out there. She always knew how strong he was, but if she wasn't mistaken, today he looked especially built. Maybe it was just the shirt.
Riku's eyes found Lightning at the compliment, his lips spreading into a smile at the look on her face. That's what I was aiming for, he thought, his eyes resting on her for another long moment before he forced himself to find something to eat. Someone would be back soon to get their order, and he still hadn't decided.

Light glanced up at Riku briefly when he didn't respond, seeing then that he was looking at his menu. And he was still smiling. Don't let it get to your head, you big lug, she thought, though she was smiling faintly herself. She didn't want Riku's ego to get so big he was obnoxious, even if he did have a lot going for him.
Riku felt Lightning's gaze on him as he finally decided on some lasagna. "Figure out what you want yet?" he asked, keeping his eyes on the menu for now. He was paying, so she could order whatever she wanted.

"Probably just spaghetti," Lightning said, shutting her menu. Yeah, that sounded good. She just had to get this movie image out of her head, where the two dogs sucked on the same piece of spaghetti and met in the middle for a kiss. She didn't even know why she thought of something so crazy, since she would never consider doing something so cheesy.
Riku lifted an eyebrow. "Isn't that the cheapest thing on the menu?" he asked, his gaze resting on the woman across from him. "You know you can order whatever you want." He was paying, and because of all the work he'd done lately on the Islands, he had plenty of money. Light knew that...

Light shrugged, setting the menu on the table and leaning back in her chair. "I'm a simple girl," she said, folding her arms over her chest. She didn't need to get something expensive, and the spaghetti did come with salad and garlic bread. She'd be just fine with that.

Riku smirked a little and shut his menu, unaware that their waitress was staring at him from the other side of the room. Light was simple, and he liked it that way. It was one thing that made her different from others, something he liked even more.

"Should I go now?" The waitress looked to her best friend who was working with her, tucking a few strands of her lavender hair behind her ear, her hair up in a casual ponytail. Her friend pointed out that it was her table, so it was best that she did. However, her best friend also wished her good luck before she started off. Grabbing her notepad from out of the small apron around her waist, she prepared to take their order. Especially the order from the hunk with silver hair. She'd never seen him before. Must be new in town.

"So, what're you getting? The most expensive item on the menu?" Light teased, smirking faintly at Riku. Of course, she doubted that he would do that for himself. Or maybe he would choose to spoil himself since they hardly ever went out. She needed to stop assuming his decisions were black and white, because every time she did, she thought of a loophole for her reasoning. She still had some work to do with figuring Riku out, even after all this time of dating.

Riku opened his mouth to speak, but that was when he sensed movement out of the corner of his eye. His eyes instantly locked onto the light brown ones of a young girl probably around his age as she approached the table. He glanced back at Lightning, giving her a look. You'll find out soon enough.

The waitress approached the table, seeing that someone already took care of the customers' drinks. Probably Henry, she thought absently. "Good evening. My name's Ella," she greeted, pulling out a pen so she could write down orders. "I'll be your server today. Are you ready to order?" Her eyes kept moving to the boy with silver hair, who she noticed motion to the girl across from him to start off.

"I'll have spaghetti," Lightning said with a small nod, sitting up a little bit when she noticed how Ella's eyes were wandering and she seemed jumpy. She didn't get why that was at first, but she would catch onto what was going on in just a minute. Lightning was observant, after all, so she would catch on quickly when she had the chance.

Ella nodded, her lavender bangs coming down to her eyes slightly. She brushed them away after writing down the order, having memorized the menu to know what came along with the main dish. "And you?" she asked, smiling somewhat shyly as she looked to the young man with the aqua eyes. He's got muscles too, she noticed silently, her gaze briefly leaving his eyes to look at his chest and arms.

"Lasagna," Riku said with a polite smile and nod. Little did he know that his expression made the waitress bite her lip, which was an obvious action out of nervousness and shyness. "That comes with dinner rolls too, right?" He met Ella's light brown eyes briefly as she nodded, and his smile only remained. "'Kay." He reached across the table for Lightning's menu, stacking it on top of his before he handed them off to Ella.

"Thanks," Ella said softly, accepting the menus as she put her pen and pad away. "Your order should be up shortly..." She lingered for only half a second longer than she should have, her eyes moving from the girl with pink hair to the boy again before she turned around and walked away. Oh gosh...

Light arched a brow as the girl walked away, her eyes following her. That's it, she realized. She was checking out Riku... She felt her jealousy flare, probably because she couldn't help but notice how pretty the waitress was too. She always did consider herself lucky to have Riku, and if he ever thought she was a nobody, he would go to a pretty girl like that. That was why she despised the waitress already, even if she was keeping her feelings to herself.
For once, Riku was ignorant toward the waitress's behavior. But that didn't mean he didn't catch the look on Light's face when she walked away. "...What?" he asked, his eyebrows furrowing ever so slightly. She looked a little...aggravated? Was that it?

Lightning kept an arched a brow, playing dumb as she successfully covered the rest of her emotions with a mask. "What?" she asked in return, doing a fine job acting in her own opinion. She had to do a good job, considering that this was Riku that she was with. He could read her like a book sometimes. She was like a book in another language to him; he didn't understand completely, but he could catch the gist of things.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed a little more. "You just..." he started, but when he trailed off he only shook his head. "Never mind." He would disregard it. Sometimes he looked too much into things, especially people. He leaned back in his chair, ignoring some strands of his hair that tickled his cheek.

"Okay..." Light said, keeping up her act of playing dumb. She sat forward on the seat and reached for her glass of water, taking careful sips of it since it was so full. When she was done, she set it back down, looking across the table at Riku. Chill out, Light. You know people are going to look at him when he's so... she mentally trailed off, unable to find words to describe him.

Ella stood with her friend at the hostess's podium, nibbling on her lip as her friend told her how cute the guy at the table was. She nodded in agreement, briefly looking over her shoulder to see him looking at his date. "Date or not...he's gorgeous," she said, turning her light brown eyes back to her best friend. "Lauren, I have no idea how to snag this guy's attention. Help me." It was then that her best friend came up with a plan, one that would actually work.

Light nudged Riku's leg with her foot, that foot in the air since her legs were crossed. "So...lasagna," she said with a small smile that turned into a smirk. "And dinner rolls. You planning on eating that by yourself?" Normally, there were about six rolls in a basket. She knew, since she had come here for business before. And she had to admit, the rolls were delicious. She was planning on stealing one or two of Riku's when they came.
