Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku's heart grew warm at the kiss, and he looked at Lightning with the same loving gaze. "I'll leave you be," he said softly. If she needed more time alone, he would go. He had work the next day, anyway.

Light shook her head faintly, not willing to let Riku go when there was something else on her mind. "One more thing," she said quietly, not waiting for him to respond. "I'm sorry if I didn't make you feel appreciated." He had said that earlier on in their whole talk, and it was important for him to know she was listening to him. She wasn't so wrapped up in her own problems she was ignoring his.
Riku shook his head. "Don't worry about it," he said softly. He just thought that since everything turned bad all the time, he wasn't making her happy. Nautilus was just a bad idea in general, so that one was understandable. But dinner...and then the party?

"Malls, chocobos, dinners where the waitress flirts with you, and surprise parties just aren't my thing," Light said softly, though she wasn't really trying to cover up her mistakes. She should have made Riku feel appreciated for trying those things, even if she despised the latter two things. Especially surprise parties. She hated surprises and she hated parties. It was a double whammy.
"Sorry," Riku said, glancing away. "But...the dinner one wasn't exactly my fault." He looked back to Lightning and gave a sheepish smile, proving a point. The waitress hit on him, which he couldn't exactly help. "I'll admit I picked the place, but still..."

Light smiled faintly, lifting her hands and straightening Riku's collar. "I'm not blaming you for anything, goof," she stated softly. The past few days just showed that Riku needed to get to know her likes and dislikes before taking her out on dates. And be more observant about waitresses flirting with him. Just the thought of what happened made Light's blood boil.
"Good, because you should be blaming my parents," Riku pointed out, his smile growing into the usual crooked one he wore. He couldn't help how the genetics turned out. The waitress flirted with him because of his looks, which he had no real part in. He wasn't complaining, because they helped him snag Light, didn't they?

"Your parents?" Light asked with an arched brow. "Because they raised a cocky boy who wins over every girl he smiles at?" she teased, smirking faintly as her pale blue eyes locked onto Riku's aqua ones. Riku could act pretty cocky, but he had a good heart. That was why she loved him.
"That," Riku agreed with a nod and the same smile, "and the looks, obviously." His hands found Lightning's waist as he said this, and he was sure that she knew he was going to bring that up some time or another.

Lightning only sighed, finding it obvious that Riku would bring up his looks. At least he doesn't have low confidence. "Whatever you say," she mumbled, though that translated into: "You can never let that go, can you?" She already knew how attractive Riku was, and so did the rest of the world, since he always wore tight-fitting shirts that showed off his muscle.
Riku only squeezed Lightning's waist. "You knew it was coming," he told her softly. He brought up his looks every once in a while, but he usually did it just to hear that she found him attractive. It mattered if she did, to him at least.

"Mhm," Lightning hummed in agreement, lifting a hand and ruffling Riku's silver hair. "And you know I'm going to say that you are attractive," she said softly, smiling faintly and looking at Riku's eyes. He was something worth looking at, that was for sure. And she knew she wasn't the only person who felt that way. Ella did too. But Riku belonged to Lightning not Ella, even if the waitress was gorgeous and Lightning was...Lightning.
"Mm," Riku hummed, a small chuckle leaving his closed lips. He did expect it, since he wanted it to be true. He wanted to look good for Lightning, which was why he was working out more. He also just wanted to be stronger for her, so he could protect her to the best of his ability if the time came.

"But no more tight shirts in public places," Lightning said, her smile fading as she arched a brow at Riku. "And no more letting girls flirt with you." Call me overprotective, but... She wanted Riku to herself, and she wanted all the other girls out there to know that he was taken. He held her heart, and she held his. Period.
"Deal," Riku said with the same crooked smile. "I'll wear rags and be anti-social." He gave her a look, showing that most likely wasn't going to happen. He bought the shirts on purpose, but he would make sure that no girls took his attention away from Lightning. They never could; she was his, and he planned to keep it that way.

"That's what I like to hear," Lightning said with a smirk, lifting a hand and sitting it on Riku's chest. Of course she knew that was sarcasm, but she could play that game. This banter with Riku was taking away the heartache she felt for the past few days and making her feel like herself again.
"You'll still claim me, right?" Riku asked, tilting his head a little. His aqua eyes rested on the pale blue he loved, the boy having felt the need to ask that question. If Light wouldn't claim him, then the deal was off. He was going to do anything he could to keep her.
  • Author
"I'll claim you no matter what you wear," Light assured him, giving him a small kiss on his jaw before she returned to her previous position. She loved Riku for his heart, not for his appearance. The muscles and attractive face were just bonuses to her.
Riku pulled Lightning closer, his arms wrapping around her lower back. "That's what I like to hear," he said, repeating what she said and using it to his advantage. Even if he didn't look as good, she would still claim him. It was good to know that she wasn't shallow.

Lightning "hmphed," wrapping her arms around Riku's upper torso and setting a hand on the back of his neck. She smiled softly and turned her cheek to rest on his broad shoulder, her eyes shutting in comfort. I love you, she thought again. It was a miracle they ended up meeting at all, and even more of one that they ended up falling in love after initially hating each other. You're my miracle.
Riku lifted one of his hands to rest on the middle of Lightning's back, the teen turning his head to kiss her pink hair before taking his original position once again. He was glad he didn't leave a few minutes ago. He would have missed out on this, which he never wanted to walk away from.

Light started running her fingertips over Riku's upper back with the hand that wasn't on the back of his neck. She felt his muscles even if the shirt wasn't overly tight, and she had to smile faintly just because of how buff he was. She wasn't superficial or shallow, but she did like that he was so strong. It always reminded her she had a place to run to if she ever was in trouble. And being in his arms reminded her it was okay to ask for help. She wasn't alone, not even close.
Riku closed his eyes at the gesture, taking in the gentleness behind it. Even if Lightning was angry before, she was now incredibly soft. He liked both sides of her, but for different reasons. He liked that she was fiery, because she stood up for herself and what she believed in. But he liked the fact that she was gentle because it showed that someone else was just like him--she had a hard exterior, but a softer heart. He finally found someone he could relate to, and love.

Light sighed softly after a minute, her hand becoming still on Riku's back and lightly gripping his shirt. She felt like her anger was burnt out now; she had spent too much time being angry and sad and every other negative emotion under the sun lately. Now, in Riku's arms, she rediscovered the emotions that she actually enjoyed experiencing. Peace, contentment, happiness...love.
Riku heard that sigh, which only made him squeeze Lightning gently. He didn't want to go to work tomorrow. He wanted to stay here tonight, and then spend the following day with her. Was that too much to ask?
