Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"...Can I ask you a favor?" Light asked softly after a few moments, feeling Riku's squeeze. There was something that hadn't left her mind, and while it wasn't serious, it was still important to her. There was something that needed to be settled before she could fully have peace.
"Yeah," Riku said softly, opening his eyes to gaze at the doorway just in front of him and behind Lightning. He was curious as to what it could be, but he wasn't going to question it aloud. After all, she was about to tell him.

"Can you tell your friends why I didn't want a party?" Light asked softly. "I know I sort of forced them out..." Even if she did say they could stay, they wouldn't have stayed to have a party without her, and she knew it. She tried being as polite as she could during that, but it had been hard. She wasn't good at expressing her feelings to her friends, and surely Riku knew she didn't want to bring up such a touchy subject with them.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed slightly. "Do you want me to tell them everything?" he asked, making sure whether that was what Light meant or not. He could tell everyone she just didn't like parties, or he could tell them the whole story. It was her choice.

"...Just say bad things happened on past birthdays and I have a hard time celebrating," Light said after a few moments of thought, her voice soft. That was true, but vague. It had to be, since Ventus was a part of that group. If he found out she was so haunted by the past, he would have been worried. And it would have been for nothing, too, since she normally wasn't like this. Anniversaries were weird things.
"Got it," Riku said with a faint nod, continuing to hold Lightning. He would do as she asked, and he wouldn't mess it up this time. He was sure his friends would understand, anyway. They weren't the type of people to judge too harshly.

Lightning nodded faintly against Riku's shoulder, pulling her head away after a moment to look up at him. She supposed it was best for him to go now, since it was on both their minds. And she did care about her friends, which was why she didn't want them offended by her actions or worrying about her behavior. She knew that they weren't just Riku's friends, but hers as well. Even if she wasn't bright, cheery, and goofy like most of them were.
Riku felt Lightning's gaze on him, not only from the movement but from the familiarity of her stare in general. He turned his head, looking down at her for a moment. But then he lowered his lips to hers, kissing her gently while he still could. He had to go...

Lightning shut her eyes at the kiss, her hand on the back of Riku's neck moving to find a place in his hair. She felt her heart jump because of his sign of affection, and she also felt her hand grip his shirt a little more tightly. She didn't want him to go, but he had to if he was going to talk to his--their, friends. Besides, she should have been used to saying goodbye by now.
Riku kept his eyes shut as he kissed Lightning slowly, wishing he could show her just how much he truly loved her. Sometimes, kisses didn't feel like enough. He kissed her for another moment before he pulled back, his forehead resting against hers as his eyes remained closed. "I'll come see you tomorrow, okay?" he whispered softly. He didn't want to stay away for long.

"Yeah, okay," Lightning whispered, keeping her eyes shut. But...She really didn't want him to go now, and that was why she still held onto him. His friends could wait a little longer, couldn't they? Riku had planned for there to be a party, so obviously he hadn't been planning on leaving so soon...Maybe they could be together a little longer now.
Riku nodded a little, though it wasn't enough to affect his forehead being against Lightning's. Of course, now he didn't want to go. After a kiss like that, why would he want to leave? But he wasn't sure whether or not he had a choice...

After a moment of silence, Lightning leaned her jaw forward again and connected her lips with Riku's in another kiss. It just came naturally, and she didn't have any urge to stop it before it happened. She gently kissed him, feeling her hair tickle her cheek with the action. But she ignored it, only focusing on the young man in front of her.
Riku wasn't dumb enough to refuse a kiss like that, so he gladly returned it. He subconsciously pressed himself closer to Lightning, also gently backing her up into the doorway behind her. He was a little surprised by the movement himself, but he knew it came naturally, so he didn't question it. Instead, he continued to kiss the woman he loved, wrapped up in her spell, as he had been from the moment he met her.

Lightning fought the urge to smile at Riku's movement, realizing that she was cornered. And she didn't care. She felt Riku's spikes in her hand as her other arm moved, wrapping around Riku and bringing Light closer to him than she already had been. Her heart was also beating irregularly at the kiss, which felt fresh and more passionate than others in some way.
Riku added a little more pressure to the kiss, as well as passion, when he felt Lightning come closer. This kiss felt different than any others, but he was okay with it. How could he mind? He was with the woman he loved.

After a few more moments of the passionate kiss, Lightning had to withdraw for a breath. She gasped for some air, though it wasn't loud, obnoxious breathing. She kept her face right in front of his, her forehead still against his as her eyes remained shut. She wasn't speechless too often, but now she was thanks to that kiss.
When Lightning withdrew, Riku swallowed in some air. He...liked that, a lot. Why couldn't they kiss like that more often? "...That was..." he started, trailing off. How did he describe that? Was it even possible?

Light took in another breath and then exhaled it, feeling her back pressed against the doorway and her front against Riku. Yeah, that was... Very passionate. Intense. Exhilarating. There were a lot of words that could describe it, but it seemed to her like none of them could do it justice.
Riku could only chuckle softly, not able to find any words to describe what just happened. Regardless, it was something he hoped they could do again. By Lightning's silence, he hoped she liked it too. If she didn't...that would be awkward.

Lightning smiled softly at Riku's chuckles, her eyes remaining shut. She was very tempted to lean in and give him another kiss, just to banish the thought in the back of her head that reminded her Riku was about to go. She could keep him here with her just a little bit longer...
Riku kept his eyes closed as he took in a breath and then sighed softly in content. "...Do I have to go after that?" he whispered softly. It was the last thing he wanted to do. Couldn't he just stay for a few more hours?

"The only thing you 'have to do' is kiss me again," Lightning whispered, surprising herself. Her heart was still beating out of her chest because of that last kiss, which was extremely unusual for her. But she didn't care. She wanted to kiss Riku again, right now.
Riku felt his heart skip a beat at the request, but he didn't hesitate leaning forward. He pressed his lips to Lightning's again, his eyes remaining closed. He wasn't about to argue with that.

Lightning kissed Riku back, her embrace around him tightening as she felt his torso against her front and the doorway against her back. She couldn't explain how the tide had shifted so suddenly that they were kissing each other like this, but she didn't care about that. All that she wanted right now was Riku. And she had him.
