Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"You want anything right now?" Sora asked softly, taking his hand back once Kairi's hair was out of her face. He knew where the glasses were, so he could get her a glass of water. Or he could make soup. He was hungry, but he wouldn't eat unless she did. Taking care of Kairi came first.
Kairi opened her eyes and gazed at the bright blue eyes that she loved. "Water?" she requested softly. The last thing she needed to suffer from was dehydration. She didn't want to eat anything right now, so that could wait.

"You got it," Sora assured her with a weak smile, setting a hand on his knee as he pushed himself up so he was standing. He still wasn't sure what to do about his own dinner, though, since he knew Kairi hated it when he didn't take care of himself. Putting a meal on hold wasn't that big of a deal, but still, he didn't want Kairi mad at him, especially when she was sick.
Sora's smile brought on Kairi's, her lips spreading into a weak grin. She looked up at him as she lay on her side, knowing that she couldn't deprive him of any food. "There's plenty of stuff in the fridge," she said softly. "Go ahead and whip something up if you'd like." She wasn't hungry, but she wouldn't stop him from eating because she wasn't feeling well.

Sora felt his weak smile widen just a tad, and he nodded to Kairi again. He gazed at her for a second before he turned and started walking out, wondering if she had taken medicine yet. She probably had, if she was already laying down in bed and ready to rest when he came in.
Kairi watched Sora go before she closed her eyes, a soft breath leaving her lips. She was tired and achy, feverish and cold. It was a bad combination, but she didn't hold a grudge against any of the kids at the daycare center. She loved children and knew they were innocent; it was an honest mistake.

Sora made himself a sandwich in the kitchen, and he couldn't resist grabbing some of Kairi's homemade cookies and setting them on his plate as well. He smiled weakly, unable to help it. He loved her cookies. After grabbing his plate and the water, he started back to Kairi's bedroom. Seeing her in the same position he left her, he came in quietly and set the water on the end table by her bed.
Kairi didn't move, though she did hear Sora's faint footsteps. She felt grateful that there was a trashcan on the other side of her bed, since she had a feeling she'd need it later on tonight. Her body hurt to move too much, so getting to the bathroom may have been difficult.

"I hope you didn't contaminate the cookies," Sora piped softly, sitting down in front of Kairi since there was some room for him. He smiled weakly at his own joke, wishing he could somehow make Kairi feel better. But there was no magic that could cure a cold or a flu.
Kairi smiled despite her sickness, opening her eyes to weakly look at her fiance. "Mm-mm," she hummed with a small shake of her head. "I made them yesterday." They were baked before she got sick, thankfully. She just hoped Sora didn't catch anything by being here. That would be awful.

"Yesterday, huh?" Sora asked softly. "Then why didn't you invite me over to have any?" He set the plate in his lap and picked up a cookie, chewing on it and tasting how chocolatey he was. Good thing Roxas doesn't now about these... The two of them always went crazy over cookies, which was why he was joking around with Kairi about her not telling him she had any.
"It was late," Kairi said, tucking her hand under her pillow. "You were probably asleep." She hadn't been able to sleep last night, and that probably weakened her immune system the next day. That was most likely why she got sick.

"Hmmm," Sora hummed around the cookie, swallowing it before he looked back down at his fiance. "I guess I'll accept that excuse...If you can convince Namine not to tell Roxas you made cookies," he teased, smiling again. If Roxas didn't know there were cookies, then he would have all of them for himself. And, of course, the girls could have a few too.
Kairi's smile grew ever so slightly. "Hmm. We'll see," she said quietly. She couldn't control whether Namine kept her mouth shut or not, but she could ask her as a favor. If she kept her word, Kairi would make a batch of cookies just for Roxas. Or Namine could make her tasty brownies and not allow Sora to have any. It would only be fair.

Sora scrunched his nose a little. "I know that face..." he said softly. "You're scheming something." And it better not involve keeping any sweets away from me. He would find out if she or Namine made something sweet, because neither of them were that great at keeping things like that hidden. Their food was too popular for word not to get out.
Kairi closed her eyes, giggling softly at her fiance's expression etched in her mind. "Maybe," she hinted gently. She wasn't sure what she would do yet, but it was a possibility. Of course, she doubted she could keep a secret for long; Sora always did get her to squeal.

Sora's smile only remained on his lips. "I'll be keeping my eye on you," he said softly, lowering a hand and gently touching Kairi's nose with the tip of his finger. If she tried anything funny, he would be right there to catch it. But of course, she had to get better before she could do anything sneaky.
"You won't have to worry for a few days," Kairi said weakly, her smile starting to fade because of some pain she felt in her head. This flu would last most than twenty-four hours. She had about twenty-two or more to go. This is going to be a long process.
  • Author
"No, I will," Sora said softly, his smile fading to a sadder one. "Just not about your schemes." He was going to be worried about her. He could tell that she still wasn't feeling good, which wasn't surprising to him. He was hoping his joking would distract her a little, but it could never take away the sickness.
Kairi hummed softly, her smile gone now. She knew there was nothing she could do to stop Sora from worrying, but... "I don't want you to get sick, Sora," she said softly. That was one of the last things she wanted right now. If he got sick, she would feel so guilty.

"I won't," Sora assured Kairi softly, finally starting to eat his sandwich once he was done talking. He hardly ever got sick. And he had been with Kairi plenty of other times when she was feeling down, so this time wasn't going to be any different. He had the whole night free for their dinner plans, so he was going to stay with her.
Kairi opened her eyes to look at her husband-to-be, though she then closed her eyes when she couldn't come up with a retort and saw that he was eating. Sora was probably right, because he usually was. For now, Kairi would focus on relaxing the best she could, though she knew that something would come up soon to interrupt that.

Sora held the sandwich with one hand, lifting the other and running it over Kairi's arm. He loved her, so of course he was going to stay and try to make her more comfortable. Even if he did get sick, it was no big deal. He had survived much worse than the flu.
Kairi released a soft breath at the gesture, already feeling herself start to relax at the touch. Sora always knew what to do to make her feel better, even if it was simply just being with her or fixing her soup. He hadn't done the latter, and she wouldn't ask him too. It was enough that he was staying here with her. She really did appreciate it.

Sora finished the remainder of his sandwich in silence, setting the plate by Kairi's glass when he was done with that and the cookies. He glanced back down at her before he carefully pushed himself up and walked around the bed, sitting on the other side. Not only was there more room, but he could do his new action more easily. He lifted a hand and started rubbing Kairi's back, his soft eyes following the motion.
