Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

You're the best, Kairi thought, feeling the soft touch against her back. Sora was so sweet; he really didn't have to do this, but he was. I have the best guy in the world. "I love you," she whispered quietly. She at least had to tell him that.

"I love you too," Sora said softly, keeping up his gesture. With all I have. He couldn't wait until they were married and he could have the privilege of calling her his wife. Calling her his fiance already was great; he could only imagine that pleasant feeling would increase when the name changed from "fiance" to "wife".
Kairi loved hearing those words, and she was going to hear them every day for the rest of her life. From now to when they were finally married, and then through old age. She would be Sora's and he would be hers. It'll be great.

Sora silently slipped off his shoes after a few moments of silence, and he quietly laid down behind Kairi. Instead of rubbing her back, he had an arm wrapped over her stomach and his face buried in her hair. He wasn't planning on sleeping, but that was okay. Now he could actually enjoy holding her like this instead of falling asleep while doing it.
Kairi moved her arm that was over Sora's now, lifting her hand so it rested over his. She was glad she had a bigger bed now, that way this kind of interaction was more comfortable. At the mayor's, she had a much smaller bed, where she and Sora were usually squished. Thankfully that wasn't the case anymore.

Sora shut his eyes, exhaling a soft breath. He wished he could hold her like this forever, but he knew that would never be possible. He would always have the Keyblade, and with that, responsibilities that would take him away from Kairi. But he would always come back.
Kairi felt Sora's breath tickle the back of her neck, and she only smiled faintly before the expression disappeared. It was hard to smile right now, considering how much she was hurting. A cold chill ran up her spine, making her shiver a little. She could only hope that her headache and body aches went away, since she took medicine just after she got sick for the first time. She hated throwing up, so she hoped she wouldn't do it often.

Sora held Kairi a little more tightly at the shiver. "Go to sleep, babe," he murmured in her ear. She needed her rest if she was going to feel better from this. And if she took medicine, she should have been feeling sleepy from that. He wanted her to get better quickly so she wouldn't have to suffer anymore.
"Mm," Kairi hummed, which translated into "I'm trying". She was tired, since she didn't get much sleep last night, and she wanted to escape this sickness. But she already knew the next time she woke up that she would still be sick. It was the flu; it wouldn't go away so easily.

Sora didn't bother saying anything, getting what Kairi's message was. He would just hold her close while she was trying to sleep, to try and get her to be more comfortable. He wouldn't leave her alone when she was sick and miserable, not while he had a choice.
After a few minutes passed, Kairi started to finally doze off. Her hold on Sora's hand loosened considerably as she fought her pain, wanting to escape it for just a few hours. She took in a breath and softly released it, her form relaxing more than it already had been before. It was then that she finally lost consciousness, still in Sora's arms.

Sora listened to Kairi's even breathing, and even when he realized she was asleep, he didn't move. He was starting to feel tired himself, after working during the day and eating food. I'll just take a quick nap, he thought. And a few minutes after that thought crossed his mind, he was out as well.
A few hours passed, and when Kairi started to come to, she felt the familiar sensation in her stomach. I'm gonna be sick, she realized instantly, her eyebrows furrowing. She opened her eyes to only see a dark room in front of her, also feeling Sora's hold around her. She grabbed his hand and pulled it off of her gently but quickly, pushing herself up from the bed. Her knees were weak, but she needed to get to the bathroom. She hurried out of her room and reached the bathroom just in time, getting sick into the toilet as she had hoped she would.

Sora was normally a deep sleeper, but he couldn't help but wake up at Kairi's movements and noise. He opened his eyes and blinked a few times, quickly registering that Kairi was no longer in front of him. She was in the bathroom...throwing up. He quickly pushed himself up from the bed and walked to the bathroom, immediately kneeling behind his fiance when he saw her position. He gently lifted a hand and pulled her red hair back, out of her way.
Once Kairi finished, she coughed and then spit, still hovering over the toilet as she lifted a hand to flush it. "Damn it," she muttered weakly. She hated getting sick, especially this aspect of it. It registered a little too late that Sora was with her, and she felt embarrassed. How disgusting.

Sora didn't bother saying anything, keeping his gentle grasp on Kairi's red hair, which had gotten longer in the past few years. Babe... he thought, lifting a hand and gently setting it on Kairi's back as he sat close behind her. He wished she wasn't so sick, but there was nothing he could do to help...
Kairi felt Sora's touch, and all she wanted to do was cry. "I'm sorry," she said softly. She hadn't meant to wake him up, especially to this. She hated being so sick, but there was nothing she could let it do but run its course.

Sora shook his head softly, his eyes on what he could see of her face. "Don't worry about it," he insisted softly. She couldn't help it if she was sick, so there was no point feeling guilty over anything associated with that. She would be better soon.
Kairi didn't respond, simply sighing. I hope this passes soon, she thought silently. She still had so many things to do. She had to plan the wedding, with help of course, and help take care of the kids at the nursery... This wasn't the time to be getting sick.

Sora glanced back at the doorway when he heard a soft noise, seeing that Namine was there. She must be in for the night, he thought. How late was it? Regardless, he gave her a look that said he had this under control. The blonde nodded hesitantly, obviously not liking to see her sister sick, but she did turn and silently walk out of the room.
Kairi wasn't aware of Namine being home, too wrapped up in her own thoughts. I can't be sick. I have so much to do. The wedding, the kids.... This was really bad timing, but it was fate. What could she do about it? There were no spells to fix this.

"C'mon, babe, let's get you back to bed," Sora murmured, releasing Kairi's hair as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. He moved over to the side of her, meaning to pick her up and carry her back to bed. He didn't mind at all, enjoying the chance to hold her in his arms even if the circumstances weren't great.
Kairi grunted softly, not resisting. She leaned into Sora once she was off the ground and in his arms, lifting a hand to weakly grasp his shirt. He shouldn't have had to do this. He shouldn't have had to take care of her like she was some lost, hopeless puppy. That wasn't his duty.

Sora easily carried Kairi, seeing the bed once they exited the bathroom. "Wanna sit up or lie down?" he asked softly, looking down at the girl he loved. Whatever she wanted was how he would set her down. It was the least he could do, since he couldn't make this flu go away...
"Sit up," Kairi answered quietly. She needed a drink anyway, since she had a terrible taste in her mouth. She probably needed to take more medicine too, but she didn't feel like it. She just wanted to sleep this off, if she could.
