Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora looked down at the ground, something coming to mind. In the past, Kairi had always made him feel more comfortable when he was asleep. She used to run her hand through his hair and sit with him until he was asleep, or even while he was unconscious. But he couldn't ask that of her now...She wasn't his girlfriend.
Why did I have to go and ruin everything? Kairi asked herself in silence. If she hadn't, none of this would be happening. Sora wouldn't be having his nightmares, he wouldn't have lost the Keyblade...and they would have been together...

"Uh," Sora said then, glancing up and seeing Kairi's facial expression. "...Was there something you wanted to do today?" Everybody had been hanging out lately, so maybe Kairi had an idea on how she wanted to spend the rest of the day.
Kairi looked up at the question, finding it random. She was curious as to why the subject changed but she answered anyway. "Nothing specific, really," she said truthfully. She was just here. She figured she would find something sooner or later.

"Hm," Sora hummed, looking back down at the ground. He failed to notice Riku during the whole conversation, and his lack of observation probably showed even more that he was tired. But then again, there wasn't much point in analyzing everything when there was no threat nearby.
Kairi nodded, even if Sora couldn't see it. "Sorry, again, for interrupting you," she said, referring to how he had been resting before she came over. "I'm guessing you were looking forward to some rest."

"Oh," Sora said, glancing back to the place he had been laying before he looked back up at Kairi. "Don't worry about it." Kairi had her reasons for approaching him; it wasn't a big deal that she interrupted him when he tried to sleep.
"Heh," Kairi laughed briefly. "You keep saying that..." But I can't help but worry... Don't you see that? She loved Sora. Why wouldn't she worry about him when he was suffering?

Sora smiled weakly, glancing down and then looking at Kairi again. "Yeah, I guess I do," he said. He couldn't really deny it; it was a habit of his, telling people not to worry.
"Maybe you shouldn't anymore," Kairi replied, glancing up at Sora. "You know I never stop worrying once I start." He knew her, almost as well as she knew herself. And what she said was the truth.

"What else am I supposed to say?" Sora responded softly, his weak smile gone when he spoke. He wasn't about to say that Kairi had a right to worry about him; that would make things more dramatic and serious to him.
Kairi shrugged. "I don't know... Something that doesn't involve concern in some way," she replied quietly, tilting her head a little. But, would it really matter? She was already worried...

Sora tilted his head slightly, trying to think of something that would fit Kairi's criteria. He couldn't really tell her that he would be fine when she worried, because he wasn't sure when that would come through. He really wasn't doing good at all...
Kairi smiled weakly at the look on Sora's face, letting her eyes fall to the ground. The look on his face was cute, despite what was going on between them. She couldn't really help herself.

"...I'll think about it," Sora said after a few moments, nodding slightly. He couldn't come up with anything to say right now about Kairi not worrying, so he would have to dwell on it and try to figure out something better to say.
Kairi lifted her eyes back to Sora and nodded slightly. "Okay," she replied softly. There wasn't much else to say than that.

Sora glanced down at the ground, grunting slightly in response to Kairi's answer. Alright...so what were they supposed to do now? He wasn't comfortable falling asleep if he knew Kairi was watching him and worrying...
A small silence passed, but Kairi decided to break it. "I'll let you get your rest," she said softly. "I'll drag Riku with me so he doesn't bother you." Her own small joke made her smile a little as she looked at the boy she loved with all her heart.

Sora blinked at the name, and he automatically looked around. He saw Riku standing over in the direction of the dock, and he was surprised. He turned forward and looked down towards the ground. "I didn't even know he was there..." he mumbled without thought. That was really bad.
"Riku's good at sneaking up on people," Kairi tried, having heard Sora's murmur. She smiled weakly despite everything, knowing that he was probably upset because he hadn't sensed Riku's presence. Riku was just like that, though, like she said.

Sora knew that Kairi was trying to make him feel better, and he appreciated the effort enough to put on a faint smile and nod. But still, he should have been more aware of things than he was.
"I'll let you be," Kairi said with a nod of her own. There wasn't much conversation anyway, and Sora obviously needed sleep. It was best that she left him to it.

"Alright," Sora said with a faint nod, his smile fading away within a few moments of appearing. He supposed he would just fall asleep right here, depending on what Riku and Kairi did. Maybe it would have been better for him to go to the other side of the island.
Kairi kept her hands linked behind her back, offering Sora the smallest of smiles before turning and going back over toward Riku not too far off. Sora needed his rest; she needed to leave him to it.

Sora saw Kairi walk off, and he followed her with his eyes. When he saw her go towards Riku, he lifted a hand and gave him a weak wave in both greeting and farewell.
