Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Snow's eyes narrowed as he looked at the scene before him, nothing but destruction surrounding them all. "Well, no point in wasting time," he said, prodding the others to think the same way he was: it was time they fought to protect what was left of this world. It was the only thing they could do.

"I'm in," Hope said with a nod, reaching behind him for his weapon. He kept it not only for memories but also in case there came a time when he needed it. Once things started spinning out of control, he grabbed it from his room. Good thing too, since he would be needing it.

Sazh looked down at his young son, seeing the chocobo fly out of his hair and squeak. "The chocobo says we're in," the man said with a sigh, pulling out one of his guns. He wanted nothing more than to take his son to safety, but there was no safe place for him. This was going to be a war that could be the end of them. But he would fight; he was no coward, despite how he sometimes got afraid in the face of death. He never gave up.
Snow slowly released Serah's hand, bringing his hands up and putting a fist to his palm. He was ready, but there was someone who still didn't voice their opinion. "Light," he said, looking over at her. "I know you aren't going to stand for this. You in?"

"You have to ask?" Lightning said, rising to her feet and holding her gunblade securely by her side. She looked over at Snow, anger burning in her eyes. No way was she just going to let this world die, and no way was she going to let the Fal'Cie get their way. She would fight until the very end.
Snow nodded once, knowing that Lightning wouldn't joke about such a thing. He looked over at Serah then. He would protect her, at all costs. She wasn't about to be a victim of the Fal'Cie again.

"...What do we even do?" Serah asked softly after a moment, looking around the group. They all agreed to fight, yes. But who could they trust? How could they fight this all on their own? ...How did they stop the Fal'Cie?

"They have an army on their side, so we'll have to make one of our own," Lightning said, putting her sword away for now. She never held onto it when she was just running around; she pulled it out whenever there was an actual threat. For now, she and her friends had to avoid death and get a team of fighters on their side. It was the only way for them to stand a chance.

Hope looked over at Lightning, but he kept his grip on his weapon as he looked at all of the chaos. There were soldiers still firing at innocent civilians, and he took a step back when a bullet went right by his head, obviously missing the target. "...I suggest we get moving," he said. They couldn't just stand here; they'd be killed.

"Right," Lightning said lowly, glancing over at Hope. He was the same as he was when he traveled with her long ago...the same as her. He was young, but practical and smart. And she loved him for it. "Let's move." She started forward, starting towards a path that the shadows covered. They had to remain unseen...for now. Soon enough, they would start actually fighting for their home. And for their lives.

A day later...

Snow followed behind the others, seeing Hope sit down against a rock wall to rest. They'd been running around the past day trying to recruit some people into fighting back against the l'Cie, and they managed to snag a few, but it still wasn't enough. Snow sighed and approached a small rock, sitting down on it as he looked to the others. They still had a lot of work to do, but for now, they had to rest.

Lightning saw Sazh collapse to the ground in tiredness, though he was careful with the boy he was holding when he did so. Dajh didn't deserve to be a part of this. Nobody did. "I'm scouting the area," Lightning said, continuing to walk even if the others in the group stopped. It seemed like this would be a safe place for the night, but she wasn't going to take any chances.

Serah sat down against a wall, her eyes following her sister. Lightning... Her sister was being the soldier that she was trained to be. And that was what worried Serah. As a soldier, her sister was never good at coping with certain situations. She was reverting back to her old self--the young woman who fought to avoid all her problems. It wasn't healthy.

Snow turned his head, looking over his shoulder slightly at Lightning. The same old Light... "Sis," he called then, knowing that she couldn't revert back to the stoic soldier she was before. She may have wanted to be strong for all of them, but she had to realize that even she needed her rest.

"Keep an eye on everyone till I get back." That was all Lightning said in response to Snow before she disappeared from the group's sight. She needed a minute to regather herself, and make sure that this was actually a safe place for them to sleep. She would be back as soon as her search was done, though she hoped everyone would be asleep by then.
Snow looked after Lightning, but then he sighed, lowering his head. He set a hand on his black beanie, staring at the ground. He planned on staying up, even if he was pretty beat, so Lightning's order would be no problem to follow. He just hoped she didn't get herself into trouble.

Serah glanced to the ground after Lightning left, sad. This was just terrible. Now she was getting a taste of what it was like after her friends became l'Cie and were running from the government. The constant fear...the tiredness...It was just one day and she was already discouraged.
Snow looked up, seeing the others. Some of them had their eyes open, while some were already asleep. His eyes lingered on the woman he loved, however, the man nodding to her. "Go ahead and get some sleep," he told her softly. "She'll be back in a little bit." He didn't want Serah to worry, but it was too late for that. The most he could do was try to ease those worries.

"Mm," Serah hummed softly, glancing at Snow before she looked back down at the ground. She folded her arms over her chest to get comfortable, her head lowering as her eyes also shut. This wasn't too comfortable, but she was sure that she would be out within a minute or two. She was exhausted.
Snow's eyes lingered on Serah for another moment before he looked up at the sky. He would have seen Cocoon if things were still stable, but his home was gone for good this time. There was no going back, which meant they all would have to start over again. It was a sad thought, but if they wanted to survive and move on, they had to do it.

Lightning returned after a little while, being quiet since the group was all asleep except for the person she told to keep watch. The soldier nodded faintly to him once she saw him, moving to sit against a rock by herself. The area's safe.
Snow saw where Lightning was going and he shook his head, whistling to catch her attention. He then patted the rock next to his, motioning for her to join him. She was devastated, as they all were, but he figured they could talk for a little while.

Lightning turned around at the whistle, arching a brow at Snow's request. What is it? What do you want? He wanted her to sit by him, obviously, but why couldn't he just leave her alone? She didn't want anything to happen to make her mask falter.
Snow gave Lightning a look. "C'mere," he said, motioning with his head for her to come over. He knew she was being stubborn, but he also knew how to handle it. He would do his best to get her to open up a little bit, but at the same time not get her too emotional where she broke down.

I don't want to, Lightning thought, though her feet carried her over to Snow's spot anyway. She didn't want to give him the chance to talk to her, but she didn't want to fight, either. They had done enough of that in the past. She sat down beside Snow, but not before she took out her gunblade and stabbed it into the ground beside where she sat. Just in case anything happened.
Snow looked at the gunblade for a moment, but then he let his eyes find his sister-in-law. "Relax while you can," he said softly as to not disturb the others. "You never know when you'll lose your chance." She had to be ready for whatever came next, but she needed her rest as well.

"This is no time to 'relax'," Lightning said lowly, folding her arms over her chest. They were being hunted by the Fal'Cie's puppets. Their goal now was pretty clear, at least to her. They wanted to sacrifice enough people to summon The Maker. People everywhere were going to be hunted.
"You think exhaustion will help in the long run?" Snow countered softly. Light was being stubborn, as always. He didn't know how Riku did it sometimes, but she was worth the trouble. "You'll only be weak in battle." If it came to that.
