Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku met Sora's gaze and nodded to him with an almost-nonexistant smile. That was when Kairi approached him. He knew that she had some news for him, and he was prepared to listen.

Sora saw Riku's expression, and it seemed like he was preparing for Kairi to speak to him. He lowered his hand and started walking away to a place where he could rest.
Kairi stopped in front of Riku, prepared to tell him some information. "Let's go sit on the dock, okay?" she requested. Upon seeing Riku nod, she led the way. It would best if they sat down and were more comfortable.

Sora walked in the direction of the door that would lead to the other side of the island, letting Riku and Kairi have time by themselves. He guessed they would talk about him, but he didn't care enough to stop them.
Riku and Kairi talked about Sora's condition, and he had to admit that he was a little worried. Sora was having nightmares now too? It was like the roles completely switched, and Riku wasn't at all comfortable with that. Which was why he was taking Kairi over to the other side of the island now; they needed to talk about this.

Sora was asleep on the other side of the island, laying on the beach and on his back like he had been before Kairi disturbed him. He fell asleep pretty quickly, and he was thankful when nothing interrupted him, only the wind and waves audible to him.

Kairi bit her lip as she walked beside Riku, having him lead her to the other side of the island. "Riku...I don't know if he really wants to talk about it," she said quietly. "He was short about it with me before..."

"But we have to talk about it, Kairi. This is too important to just disregard," Riku said, glancing at the redhead before looking forward again. Nightmares? About the Keyblade? That wasn't good at all.

Sora exhaled a soft breath in his sleep, not experiencing nightmares at the moment. He was thankful for that, but he was worried that one would come to him later in his slumber. But for now, he enjoyed the peace that sleep brought him.
Kairi let Riku lead her to the other side of the island in silence, knowing that there was no point in arguing over what he was doing. She knew that Riku was too persistent sometimes, but there was nothing she could do to change his mind.

Sora stayed at rest, though he started to feel a heaviness on his heart. No...he thought, trying to push it away. He didn't want to have a nightmare right now!
Riku helped Kairi across the weak board in the old bridge on the other side of the island, but from there he kept leading the way. He walked past the small tower in silence; there was nothing to discuss. He was talking to Sora about this, and that was it.

Sora exhaled a soft breath, eyebrows furrowed slightly as he tried to chase away his nightmare. He couldn't see it again...Not now. Not while he was relaxing on the beach.
Kairi let Riku help her down the small ledge before they proceeded across the beach. She saw Sora lying there, right by the water, undisturbed. She glanced up at Riku, but didn't say anything. They were already here, after all.

Sora subconsciously gripped some of his hair, his hands behind his head. He saw the images in front of him like he always did, Vanitas fighting him. And it lasted for a long, long time, and he could practically feel the weariness that he had felt during the battle.

Kairi felt a stirring feeling in her heart as they got closer to Sora, and she knew that he was experiencing another nightmare. His expression when she looked at him only proved that. "Riku..."

Riku looked at Kairi, saw her expression, and then looked at Sora. Upon gazing at his friend, he recognized what Kairi was getting at. Riku took the last few steps over in quick strides and knelt down beside his best friend. "Sora?" he called.

  • Author
Sora grunted slightly, recognizing the call a little bit. He thought Vanitas was taunting him, and it shattered through the illusion of his dream. Vanitas's Lingering Sentiment can't talk...Sora thought in his dreams, trying to figure out how this was happening. This wasn't how things unfolded before...
"Sora," Riku called, more firmly this time when his friend didn't open his eyes. He looked like he was having a bad dream, much like Kairi had implied just a second ago. They needed to wake him up and save him the misery.

Sora heard the voice again, and it left him stunned. That wasn't Vanitas's voice; it was...Riku's? And he sounded awfully firm. The Sora in his dreams looked around the area, but saw that it was only him and Vanitas. So where was the voice coming from?
Riku saw that Sora still wasn't waking up, and he put his hands on his friend's shoulders. "Sora, wake up," Riku ordered, shaking his friend as he slept. What was he dreaming of anyway?
  • Author
Sora grunted, feeling Riku shake him. The images of his dream began to blur and fade away as he returned to reality. He peaked his eyes open, seeing the ocean and sky because of how his eyes were half-open.
"Sora," Riku called again, no longer shaking his best friend as he stared at him. He didn't look like he was all there, so maybe he wasn't fully awake yet?

Sora blinked, moving one of his hands out from behind his head. He brought his hand to rub his eyes, but then he thought better, remembering the sand that was on his hand. He forced his eyes open completely and looked up at Riku, having heard him call him a few times now. "Hm?" he hummed automatically. What was up?
Kairi could only look down at the boy she loved, worried sick. He had trouble being woken up... He must have been having a really bad dream. That didn't settle her worries at all.

Sora looked past Riku, seeing Kairi a few steps away with an expression he recognized far too easily. She was worried. He glanced back at Riku before he pushed himself up into a sitting position. He tried thinking about why they would both be looking at him like that, and then he figured it out. He had been sleeping, and so he had been having a nightmare.
Riku sat back, furrowing his eyebrows as he stared at Sora. "You okay?" he asked, concern evident in his voice. How bad was this?
