A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

On Gran Pulse a little later

 

Lightning swung Odin's weapon at Carson, a harsh battle-cry leaving her lips as she rode past him on Odin. She and her friends had been fighting Carson for a long time now, and hearing the screams of others falling to soldiers. The sacrifices were continuing; they needed to end this fight to take out the leader so the rest of the operations would crumble. But she wasn't so sure that was possible; her allies were already too wounded to help against him now.

Snow kept his position knelt on the ground, gripping his side as he looked up. Lightning was the only one of them left standing. She had Odin, but Carson had a summon of his own. Ixion. He saw the ex-soldier order Ixion to release a lightning attack on his friend, and he only grunted. How long would this keep going?

Sazh witnessed Lightning lift her arms to shield herself from the lightning bolts, though she was clearly pained. "Hey, leave her alone, sparky!" he cried hoarsely, lifting his gun and shooting off a few bullets from his spot on the ground. He was too wounded to be actively involved in the fight, but he couldn't just sit here and do nothing!

Ixion reared back at the attack, which made Carson furious. "Shut your trap, Grandpa!" he hollered, firing off his own bullets from his gun. There was no time for fooling around. The more people that died, the better.

Lightning threw Odin's weapon, deflecting the bullets away from Sazh. The large weapon stabbed into the ground in front of him, keeping him from getting hit. But it also would stop him from helping now. This is very, very bad... she thought, looking to the sky and seeing it start to get cloudy. The end was near.

"Now, Ixion!" Carson ordered, seeing that Lightning was without a weapon. The summon charged up another lightning attack, and Carson secured his grip on it as the summon charged forward to collide with Odin, and electrocute him and his soldier. It was time for this fight to end.

Light felt the lightning impact her first, but then Ixion rammed the side of Odin. She cried out and was knocked off her horse, hitting the ground hard a few feet away and rolling to be by the young man she always fought hard to defend. She opened her pained eyes and saw Odin and his weapon disappear, the summon too damaged to linger. ...It's over.

"Lightning?!" Hope cried in worry, pushing himself up onto his hands and knees when she was close. He instantly turned his head, seeing Carson coming over with Ixion. He was going to kill her... He was going to kill all of them.

 

"How does it feel, to know you're gonna die?" Carson asked, holding his gun in one hand and gripping Ixion with the other. Lightning had no choice in the matter, regardless of her thoughts. She was dying, right here, right now.

"Tch," Lightning grunted, glaring at Carson. I don't want to die to scum like you... But she had fought her hardest and was defeated. All of them were. At least Serah and Dajh got away before they got involved in the fight. She did her final duty...protecting her sister. She had to accept that she did what she could.

Even in spirit, Fang was watching over her former comrades and friends. Upon noticing their trouble, she located the strength and power within her, knowing what she had to do. "Vanille," she called then, observing Carson as he got Ixion ready to deal the final blow. They had to interfere.

"Mm," Vanille hummed in agreement. There was plenty of crystal mist around, and they were about to use it as a weapon. She called forth what power she had, feeling the crystal start gathering and then start moving towards its target.

 

Sazh looked towards Oerba and where the crystal tower used to be, seeing a cloud start forming along the ground. "Hey...What's that?" he asked, propping himself up a little bit. He had never seen this before...What's going on now?

Snow glanced over at Sazh before following his stare to the area not too far off. "...It can't be," he muttered. A feeling inside him, within his heart, told him what was going on, and who was acting as a reinforcement. And as the cloud got closer, Snow could have sworn he saw two figures in the mist, even if they weren't really there.

 

"See you, Farron," Carson called, pulling Ixion back so he was on his hind legs. But that was when the summon cried out in agony, collapsing underneath him only to disappear. "What?!" He looked behind him, though all he saw was a mist. What was going on?

 

Fang used what power she had left to close in on Carson then, knowing Vanille was right by her side. It was time for him to turn to crystal and be frozen in time for eternity.

Lightning pushed herself up so she was on her knees, her eyes wider than usual as the crystal surrounded and suffocated Carson. Fang...Vanille... They were here in spirit, to help them. The solider glanced at her friends before she looked back to Carson, the mist disappearing after a moment. There he stood, encased in crystal. Forever.

Snow could only stare at Carson's crystal form, though he did look at the crystal mist as it started to leave the area. It was them... "Fang," he said with a smile.

 

And... "Vanille," Hope said as well, a look of disbelief and relief combined on his face. They did it... They stopped Carson, and saved them!

Lightning smiled faintly, watching the mist go back to where it came from. Thank you, she thought, hearing Sazh cheering for joy. But then, the atmosphere suddenly changed. She heard a mighty roar and she looked behind her, eyes growing in size when she saw a gigantic beast. She thought the Titan, the guardian of Gran Pulse, was big. This thing...was at least five times bigger and more frightening. It's the Maker.

Hope glanced behind him, and that was when he turned over, pushing himself back in fear. "Whoa!" he cried. What was that thing?! It couldn't be the Maker...could it? If it was, they were all doomed!

Sazh turned around and watched the Maker with wide eyes, seeing that it looked like it was inspecting its creation. But it didn't have to look too long to see all the destruction, chaos, and death. It let out a mighty roar, the air around them trembling. "Whoa, hey now..." he said in nervousness, watching the beast kneel down and then suddenly pound the ground. "Whoa!" he cried, seeing the ground suddenly crack all over the place. The cracks widened, and when he looked down because of a trembling, he realized that he was sitting right in the middle of one of the expanding cracks. "Whoa!" He reached out and grabbed Snow's ankle, since he was close to him. No way was he gonna die like this!

"What?!" Snow roared, feeling himself start to fall. Sazh had a tight grasp on his ankles, and he knew why. He cried out and reached for Hope, grabbing his legs and unfortunately pulling him down with him.

 

"Ahhh!" Hope cried out, clawing at the ground and trying to get a hold of the grass, but he was slipping! "Light!" With Snow and Sazh's added weight, he would fall to his death immediately!

Lightning grunted, diving to get a hold of Hope's hands before he slid too far away from her. She grabbed a hold of them and then sat herself up so she was leaning over the crack they fell into, the young woman ignoring her wounds to hold up her friends. No way was she about to let them die! She would either save them or die trying. Period.

Hope gripped Lightning's hands tightly, glancing over his shoulder to see nothing but a dark abyss. He grunted in fear, looking back up at his friend. "Don't let go!" he hollered in fright. She couldn't let go!

 

"Son of a...!" Snow cursed, though he trailed off as he tightened his hold on Hope's legs. This was not happening! "Hold on, Sazh!"

"Yeah," Sazh said breathlessly. "Yeah, I'm not planning on letting go." He couldn't die like this! Falling into an abyss?! If he was going to die, he was going to die fighting to save what was left of his home! He would fight...for his son.

 

"Never!" Lightning cried, responding to Hope. She would never let go! She set a foot on the ground, grunting as she tried to pull the three of them up. A roar, though, caught her attention. She looked up at the Maker, a startled gasp leaving her when she saw its focus on her and her friends. She saw the blue energy forming, and she knew it would be an energy ray...to kill them. But she wouldn't let go; she wouldn't save her own skin. ...Guys...I love you...

Snow heard that roar, and he looked up, seeing from his position what was going on. "Lightning..." he said with caution. This was bad...and he knew what the outcome was going to be. Serah...

 

A portal appeared out of thin air, a young man dressed in all black flying through on his glider. He jumped off of it upon seeing what was happening, landing smoothly on his feet before sprinting across the cracked land of Gran Pulse. He used momentum to jump over a crack in the earth, but then he saw her. Lightning! The Black Knight sprinted forward before ramming into her, his arms wrapping around her.

Lightning suddenly felt herself get rammed into, though she wasn't aware of what hit her. She was only aware that whatever it was, it made her lose her grip on the friends she had been holding up. "NOO!" she screamed in absolute horror, hearing their cries as they fell into the abyss. No...NO...

Riku landed on his side, hearing Lightning's scream. It wasn't the only one he heard, which made him close his eyes briefly in grief. I'm sorry, he thought. But he immediately pushed himself up, gripping Lightning's arm. "Get up!" he hollered. They had to get out of here, now.

Lightning felt herself get dragged up into a sitting position, but her head was pounding too much for her to recognize the voice that gave her a stern order. Her wide eyes went back to the crack in the earth, where her friends just fell. I...I just... She heard the Maker roar again, and she saw the energy ray coming in her direction out of the top of her eye.
