Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Leave me alone, Light thought amidst her sobs, though Riku's tone sounded more familiar to her than his harsh tone had earlier. It was the way he would have spoken to her before. But she didn't want to speak to him right now. She was too heartbroken over everything to face him, which was why she kept her back to him.
Riku waited a second in hesitation, but then he closed the small distance between them with soft steps. He looked down the large crack in the earth before looking down at the woman he still loved. "Hey," he said gently, setting a hand on her shoulder. It was going to be alright... Just stop crying...

Lightning lifted a hand and hit Riku's away, though it wasn't a hard hit. Stop it. How dare you try to comfort me now when you caused this? He wasn't going to pull this. He wasn't going to comfort her when he still believed their deaths justified her surviving. It wasn't right.
Riku blinked at the hit, a small grunt leaving him. But then he wisely kept his hand back, the young man standing upright and looking down at the dark abyss. There were...bodies down there. Bodies of people he once knew. Maybe...he really was a jerk for what he did.

"Lightning?" Ven called when he saw her how she was, the young man standing a few feet away. He heard her sniffle, and that only encouraged what he did next. He moved and knelt down beside her, and arm wrapping around her shoulders as he pulled her close like a big brother would have done. He noticed she didn't look over at him, probably because she didn't want him seeing her face. Even after seven years, he knew the way she thought. "Light, hey..." he said gently. Don't do this to yourself...
Riku turned his head away from the crevice, his eyes finding the woman he loved again. He thought he was actually doing some good when he saved her...but he wasn't. He only caused her heartbreak and sorrow. Was she right? he asked himself then, looking down at her from where he stood. Did I...make a mistake?

Ven let Lightning calm down for a minute, since that was clearly what she was trying to do now that she was close. "If it helps, you can wear my helmet to hide your face until you compose yourself," he said softly, though he was joking. And he actually got a weak laugh of her. That's a good sign. A great sign. There was still hope for her to live her life if she was herself enough to laugh at one of his jokes.
It's never a mistake saving her life, Riku told himself, closing his eyes for a minute before looking at the two next to him. He stepped away to give them privacy, his eyes roaming the deserted world. Everyone that lived here... They were all dead. At least she still has Ven...

"Riku, Light, let's go home," Ven said after a minute. He rose to his feet and helped Lightning up as well, seeing her wipe away her tears before she finally looked over and saw his face. Or really, his chest. He was taller now than he had been the last time he saw her. He gave her one of his cheesy grins and summoned his glider beneath him, getting on board and motioning for her to do the same. She didn't belong here in this place of death.
Riku looked over his shoulder when he heard his name, his eyes resting on Ven before they went to Lightning. He pushed the button on his armguard to summon his armor, shielding his face from view. He was at a hard place right now, after being here and seeing how much of an emotional toll this was taking on Lightning. He didn't regret saving her, but...her friends...

Light saw Ven hit his shoulder guard before he was armored and she chose to get on, figuring by now that the two Keybladers knew how she got here. And she didn't care. She wrapped her arms around her brother from behind and pressed her face against his back and the back of his neck, since he wasn't too much taller than her. Even if the armor was cold, she knew that Ven's heart was warm. Even after all these years, and even after losing her for so long.
Riku summoned his glider before nodding to Ven. He then got a portal to show up before flying through it. He wouldn't bother Lightning...not anymore. She obviously needed some time to mourn.

Ven and Riku flew back to The Land of Departure, not that it took them too long. They were skilled fliers, and besides, the distance wasn't too long. When the two of them returned to their world, Ventus noticed one of the apprentice Keybladers standing at the top of the stairs, watching the sky.

Finally, Terrian thought in exasperation, seeing the two crafts reenter the world. "Master Riku!" he called up, the fifteen year old hoping to get his Master's attention. He was late for their training session. How could he have forgotten about it? Master Riku devoted himself to Terrian, though the teen didn't know that he did it to avoid his grief concerning his loved one. It didn't matter, though. Terrian trusted his Master to make him stronger, so he could protect his friends.

Riku heard his name called, and because he was the first back in the world, he was in the lead. He got off his glider and dropped down, landing safely on his feet before his armor vanished. He lifted a hand to Terrian, saying hello to his student. Since Riku never had kids, Terrian was like a son to him, and someone he devoted himself to the last year or so. Training...Right.

Terrian lifted a hand to his smooth dark silver hair, some spikes at the bottoms of it. His hair was probably about to the bottom of his ears, except for some of the strands on either side of the front that were longer. He wore a black and tan vest with black pants, his sneakers also comfortably black. He always did have a thing for the color black. He was just about to ask his master about training, but then he noticed Master Ven land with somebody on his glider. "Who's that?" he blurted before he could stop himself. He never saw her before.
Riku wanted to facepalm at the question, but he kept walking. "Don't worry about it," he called, climbing the steps quickly so he didn't ask anymore questions. Light wasn't in the mood to be bothered. The least he could do was spare her from Terrian's twenty questions.

"But Master," Terrian protested, looking from the Master to the girl who was trying to ignore him. What's her deal? And why...? "Why is she wounded?" He could see it even where he was at the top of the stairs. Was there a fight that he missed, some battle that his Master went off to fight without him? If that was the case, he would have been upset.
"Terrian," Riku said in warning, giving the boy a look. Zip it, kid. He didn't want to get on Lightning's bad side, where Riku was. It was a bad place to be. The last thing he wanted was for Terrian to be there; the kid was like his son.

Terrian ignored his Master's warning; he had an obsession with knowing the truth. "Was there a battle?" he asked, looking briefly from Master Ventus to Riku again. If there was, then he wanted to know about it. He was young, but he could fight. Someday, he was going to be a great Keyblade Master.

"Who's the brat?" Lightning mumbled to Ventus, keeping an eye on the silver-haired kid. He asked too many questions.

"It's Riku's Keyblade apprentice, Terrian," Ven explained softly, glancing over at his sister. "He's been training him for at least a year now, ever since he found Terrian wandering in Twilight Town. He lost his parents in a freak accident." He wasn't sure what it was, but it was bad. Terrian vowed to get stronger, to protect the people that mattered to him now. Like Hallie and Skylar.

Riku shook his head, both at the question and for Terrian's nosiness. "No, there was no battle. Now aren't we due for training or what, kid?" he asked, lifting an eyebrow at his apprentice as he reached the top of the stairs. He lifted a hand to the boy's head and ruffled his silver hair as he took a spot beside him.

"I dunno, are we Master?" Terrian asked with an arched brow, hating it when Master Riku ruffled his hair like that. It made him feel inferior and childish. And the name "kid" didn't help either. But back to his question, he was wondering if they would actually train today or not, since Master Riku was very late. Their time was almost up by now.
Riku didn't answer at first, taking in a breath as he looked over at the people just past the stairs. He wasn't really in the mood, even if he wanted to keep himself occupied. But their training time was nearly gone. "...Consider this a day off," he said, speaking to Terrian, though his eyes lingered on Lightning. We both need it.

"Aw," Terrian whined, looking up at his Master. He was about to question why, since he loved training, but then he realized that his Master wasn't paying too much attention to him. He followed his gaze to the pink haired woman again, seeing her lower her head as Master Ventus used his Keyblade to cast a Cure spell on her. "Is it because of that girl?" he asked nosily.
Riku sighed at the question, though he didn't tear his eyes away from Lightning. "Yeah, Terrian. It is," he admitted quietly. But...he didn't want his apprentice thinking he was a big softie, even if he was around Light. "But don't worry," he said after a minute, looking over at the kid he considered his own. "We'll make up for it tomorrow, okay?"

But...what makes her so important that you missed training? Terrian silently thought. But he knew that his unspoken question was one step too far. "Yes Master," he said with a small nod. He'd be ready to train, and he'd be sure to get his chores done extra quickly so that he could have more time with Master Riku. Well, as long as his Master wasn't too distracted by the girl. He'd have to do some snooping to find out who she was.
