Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku smiled ever so slightly, putting a hand on Terrian's shoulder. "See you later," he said with a small nod. He squeezed his apprentice's shoulder before turning for the doors and going inside. He knew how nosy Terrian could be, so he would just leave things at what they were. He didn't want him getting too close to Lightning when she was so vulnerable.

Terrian nodded faintly to his Master, but then he looked back to the two down on the grass. "Master Ventus!" he called. "Do you want a sparring match?" He was always up for that. When he heard a "No thanks, I'm a little busy right now," the teenager frowned. Why is everyone so obsessed with this girl?
Riku ran a hand through his shorter silver hair, looking around the polished castle. He wondered where Sora and Kairi were, and his godchild. He hadn't seen her in what felt like forever, since he'd been so busy trying to get Lightning back.

Sora bounced his young daughter on his knee, hearing her laugh. Her laughter was like music to his ears, the Keyblader laughing softly at young Lydia's joy. He loved this girl...with all his heart. Just like he loved his wife, the wife who he had this child with. He and Kairi couldn't have been happier to be parents.
Kairi took her hair out of its ponytail, her red locks falling until they touched the middle of her back. She smiled at her husband and walked over to stand next to him, catching the bright blue eyes of their daughter. "Is Daddy being funny?" she asked sweetly, looking at the gorgeous girl before her. Lydia was only three, and she was the best thing to ever happen to her and Sora. She was their pride and joy.

Sora looked over at Kairi, smirking faintly. "Daddy's always funny," he reminded her, being silly. He had never lost his goofiness; it was a part of who he was, and it always would be. He couldn't imagine himself to be anything but a sincere goofball. And that was okay, because Kairi loved that part of him. And so did their daughter.
Kairi smiled a little more, looking over at her husband. She gave him a light kiss on the cheek, pulling back after a second to lock eyes with him once more. But she heard Lydia giggle again, which immediately caught her attention. Their little girl had pieces of both of them within her; she had Sora's hair color and big blue eyes, but she had Kairi's hair texture and smile. It was the perfect combination.

"You want her for a while?" Sora asked, holding onto Lydia's waist as she sat on his knee. He didn't mind giving her up for a little while. In fact, it was about time that he found Skylar and gave him his lesson for the day. True, their time was supposed to start a little while ago, but Skylar was probably still doing his chores anyway. He put things off, much like his Master used to do.
Kairi's smile softened. "Mm," she hummed softly, glancing at her husband before looking back at Lydia. She held her hands out to her to see if she wanted to be held, and she did. "You want Mommy?" Even after three years, Kairi still had to get used to that name. It was so bizarre. She and Sora had a family...

Sora smiled as Kairi took their child and held her in her arms, the young man rising to his feet and stretching. "Guess I should check to see if Sklyar's actually done his chores," he said with a sigh. And if he wasn't, then he would go search for Riku. It had been a while since he talked to his friend, and he was concerned about him, as always. He had never recovered from Lightning's death.
Kairi held Lydia at her hip with both arms, nodding to Sora. "And if he hasn't, you'll help him, right?" she asked with a small lift of her eyebrow. "You know he doesn't like to waste time doing chores." He'd much rather be outside and training with Sora. It was just how he was. But, Skylar was a sweet boy. He could see why Sora took him on as his apprentice; they were almost identical in their personalities.

"If I help him, it'll encourage laziness," Sora said with a sheepish smile. He knew from experience how that worked. He put off certain things, and then other people did the chores for him. He slipped by for a lot of years, but he was a hard worker now. But he did enjoy his naps still.
"You would know that best, wouldn't you?" Riku asked, having just reached the doorway in time to hear what Sora had to say. He leaned his shoulder against the doorway, smirking for the first time in a while. He always was happier around these two, and of course, Lydia. He loved her like she was family too, since Sora and Kairi made him the godfather of her when she was born.

Sora looked over at the doorway, seeing just the person that he wanted to see for a while now. "Exactly," he said sheepishly. He couldn't deny that he earned his name from Kairi so long ago: "Lazy bum". But he was better now for the most part, and they all knew it. That was why it was okay to joke around about that stuff.

Kairi nodded to her best friend. "Hey, Riku," she greeted softly. The last time she really talked to him, he wasn't doing so well. The whole thing with Lightning... He was really beaten up about it. He didn't look any better, even if Lightning was back. Of course, Kairi didn't know that, since everyone but Ven and Riku were out of the loop. She set Lydia down after her greeting, and the little girl instantly started toward Riku.

Riku smiled at Kairi before his eyes dropped to the little girl in the room. She was coming toward him, and he knew what she wanted. When she was close, he roared playfully before flipping her upside down with one arm, holding her to him as he used the other hand to tickle her stomach. Lydia started laughing, which instantly made him smile. Good to see you.

Sora smiled, both because of his daughter and because of the person he considered to be a brother. "Did Terrian ever find you?" he asked, his smile fading after a second. "He was looking for you a while ago." He said that Riku had missed out on a training session, which was unlike him. But Riku had told him that today was the day he was going to save Lightning, and if that succeeded, then that was a valid reason for missing training.
Riku flipped Lydia right-side up, holding her to his side with one arm as he nodded. "Yeah, just as I got back," he answered. "I told him we'd make up for training tomorrow." He felt bad that he missed it today, because he knew how much becoming a Keyblade Master meant to Terrian, but some things happened that kept him from being on time today. He was sure his apprentice understood.

"I can have him work with Skylar if you want," Sora offered. That is, if Skylar finishes his chores. Terrian and Skylar were best friends, and they liked sparring with each other. So, Sora could watch over the two of them and offer his advice while both of them got their session. He didn't mind covering for Riku.
Riku shrugged slightly, feeling Lydia playing with some of his silver hair hanging by his face. "I don't mind, but it's up to Terrian," he admitted then. Regardless, he was grateful for the offer. He was pretty sure that without Sora and Kairi, he wouldn't have survived the last seven years.

"'Kay, I'll talk to him, then," Sora said with a small nod. He had a feeling that Terrian wouldn't mind, since he normally was cool and took things in stride. And any competition with Skylar was always something that he enjoyed. Those two boys...They were just like Sora and Riku were when they were growing up. Rivals, but best friends.
"Thanks, Sora," Riku said with a small nod. He appreciated the offer. Terrian really did miss out on training because of him today, which wasn't fair. As Master, he was supposed to be there for him every step of the way. Skipping out on training sessions wasn't a good thing to do.

"Sure thing," Sora said a nod and a smile. He was sure that if he ever missed something with Skylar, then Riku would cover for him. Or Roxas. Or Ven, or Terra, or Aqua. All of them had each other's backs here. They were all a family, truly. And their apprentices were becoming a part of that family.
"Hey, Riku? Do you mind watching Lydia for a little bit? I've got to run something by Aqua really fast," Kairi said then, asking since her friend was on the other side of the castle. When Riku nodded, she smiled. "Thank you." She then turned to Sora, putting a hand on his arm. "I'll see you at dinner." If he was going to train, she wouldn't see him until then, which was fine. It was the afternoon anyway, so by the time he got done, it would be evening and time for them all to eat.

"Yeah, see you there," Sora said, leaning over and giving his wife a peck on the cheek. He would be with Skylar for a while, or he would be with Riku. He really wanted to have a talk with the latter, since Sora could always tell when something was up. And now was one of those times. Skylar could wait a little longer, if he was waiting at all. It seemed like Riku needed him.
Riku watched as Kairi smiled to Sora before walking over and kissing Lydia on the head. He made brief eye contact with her before she left the room and started off, but Riku only lowered his gaze to the little girl in his arms. She was still playing with his hair, which she often did, but he didn't mind. After a minute, he looked up, a silence between him and Sora for the moment.
