Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku smiled to himself at that laugh, unable to help himself when his thoughts transferred to what kind of future he wanted for himself, seven years ago. He'd wanted to be with Light, get married, have a family of his own... But those dreams were shattered when he lost her. Things were never the same after that.

Maybe now you'll finally get a family of your own, Riku, Sora thought, smoothing a hand over his daughter's hair. Riku expressed that he had wanted a family before, and now that the one woman he would ever love was here, maybe he would get his wish. Sora was sure things would work out for him and Lightning; they loved each other.
Riku brought one leg up, setting his ankle on his knee as his arms sat on the armrests of his chair. He could only watch the interaction between Sora and Lydia, not knowing what to say or to do. Things were just really complicated for him, as they always were. If they weren't depressing, they were difficult. It was just how his life worked.

"Go give Uncle Riku a hug," Sora whispered to his daughter, though his best friend probably heard the comment. Regardless, Lydia started over towards Riku with arms outstretched, her face lit up like it always was. Now, Sora just wished that his friend would be the same way. Keep your chin up, Riku. Things can only get better from here.
Riku glanced over at Sora briefly, giving him a look before that expression totally disappeared. He looked to Lydia and instantly smiled, reaching for her and bringing her up on the chair with him. She wrapped her little arms around his neck and gave him a hug, and it was something he couldn't refuse. He was good with kids, something he realized the day he helped Kairi in the daycare center all those years ago. Ever since then, he'd thought about a family. But since Light had been gone, he never thought anymore about it. Instead, he treated Terrian and Lydia like his own children, wanting nothing but the best for them.

Sora looked over at Riku, smirking a little because of the look that he gave him. In some ways, you'll never change, Riku, he thought. But it wasn't a bad thing. He and Riku were best friends, and they always got along even if they were different in a lot of ways. He was sure they would be best friends the rest of their lives.
Riku ran his hand over Lydia's small back before letting her sit on his lap. He hadn't been a softie in a really long time, for obvious reasons. But Sora always brought that side out of him because of Lydia. He didn't mind that much, but still... He didn't know how well that would go over with Lightning.

"Skylar, I can't believe you missed training again because you were too lazy to do your chores," Terrian scolded, he and his friend heading towards the backyard of the castle. How could his best friend miss out on a chance to train willingly?! If Terrian had known sooner, he would have asked Master Sora to train him instead. He was too silly sometimes for Terrian's tastes, but he was a strong warrior too.
"Hey, gimme a break!" Skylar said, glancing at his slightly taller friend before running a hand over his dark-brown hair. It wasn't as gravity-defying as his Master's, but he did have a bandana underneath his bangs as an accessory. He wore a white jacket with a black t-shirt underneath, wearing a pair of dark blue jeans and black and white sneakers as well. He was only a year younger than Terrian, and a little more lazy. "Master Aqua is the one who schedules the chores around here. She always gives me dish duty." It was so unfair.

"And you're the one who always sneaks off to take naps instead of doing your chores," Terrian said cooly, though he wasn't being harsh. Skylar was lazy compared to him, and he couldn't understand why his friend wasn't obsessed with getting stronger with the Keyblade. Where was his discipline?
"So what? I like my rest," Skylar said with a shrug, going down the stairs next to his best friend. "Besides, Master Sora always makes me use all my energy in training, so by the time we're done, I'm exhausted. Can you blame me?" He glanced over at Terrian, waiting for an answer.
  • Author
"Yup," Terrian said with a nod, pushing the back doors open. I can blame you, and I will. He put all his effort into training too, but he still was on top of his chores and everything. He saw the chairs up ahead, where three people were sitting. His Master, Master Sora, and his child Lydia. Skylar, go ahead and say you're ready to train now, he thought, fighting the urge to roll his eyes. I helped you with the dishes so you could train, after all.
"Hey, Master Sora," Skylar greeted, walking outside alongside his best friend. "Master Riku." He nodded to the latter when he turned his head to look at them. He saw Lydia as well, who waved at him. He grinned at her, waving as well.

"Hey Skylar, Terrian," Sora greeted, turning his head to look at the two boys. Skylar was guilty of skipping out on training again, and he was going to think up the most probable reason he missed. "You have to wake Skylar up from a nap, Terrian?" he asked with an arched brow, some amusement present in his expression. Terrian reacted the same way, smirking and humming. Something like that.
"Hey! I'm here now, aren't I?" Skylar crossed his arms, looking from Terrian to Master Sora. "I'm ready to train now if you are, Master." He hated being late, but he didn't mean to. Really! He napped for a while and then had to hurry through his chores. Thankfully Terrian helped out.

"Nah," Sora said, glancing at the sky to judge the time. "We don't have enough time before dinner for things to get too intense." But he did have another idea, one that he was about to offer to both teenagers. "How about after dinner, I'll let you guys fight it out." They had done this before, with a Master or two supervising and giving critics along the way. He saw Terrian's expression light up at the idea, the teen nodding. Clearly he liked the idea.

Skylar smiled instantly. "Alright!" he cheered. It was always best to spar with his best friend, since it was more fun. But Master Sora did set up some interesting training sessions sometimes.

"What are you getting so excited about?" Hallie lingered by the double doors that led outside, her hands at her sides as she stared at the back of her two friends' heads. She was dressed in a white vest with a black trimmed collar and a white skirt, though she also wore light pink sneakers. The light breeze blew her long, dark red hair behind her shoulders. She heard her two friends from inside, as well as Master Sora. But she hadn't caught onto the whole conversation.

"A match with me," Terrian said, puffing out his chest a little bit and hitting it with a light fist. "He probably thinks its a chance to beat me, but that'll never happen. Not while 'Sir Sleeps-A-Lot' misses out on his training sessions." And even if he did train hard, Terrian would always be stronger.

"Hey! You didn't train today either!" Skylar cried, glaring at Terrian from his spot beside him. There was no reason to call him names!

Riku lifted a hand and rubbed the back of his neck, glancing down at the little girl in his lap. Yeah...that was my fault. He forgot that he had to be back by a certain time after he ran after Lightning. He wasn't thinking clearly.

"Day's not over yet," Terrian said calmly, lifting a hand and ruffling Skylar's hair as he started back to the castle. "You and I have training later. Be ready to get your butt kicked." He was going to have fun with that, since he liked the competition he had with Skylar. And he liked winning, too.
Skylar lifted his hands to his head, smoothing out his hair and adjusting his bandana before sighing. He then started after Terrian, hands in loose fists. He would show him in training today... You just wait.

Sora watched the three pupil leave, a sigh leaving his lips once they were gone. They're so much like me, Riku, and Kairi. He shook his head and pushed himself up from the seat, looking over at Riku. "Time for dinner," he said, getting back to the matter at hand. Everyone would be there, including Lightning. Would the two of them be civil at least?

"Food!" Lydia said with a smile. Even if she was only three, she knew by now that dinner meant food, and she was excited. Her mommy and daddy never gave her many snacks, not wanting to spoil her appetite.

Riku felt his lips turn up into a small smile as he stood up, holding Lydia to his side. "Yup, food. I'm guessing you're hungry, huh?" he said, stepping around a chair to start toward the castle. When Lydia hummed and nodded, he could only smile more. She had quite an appetite, for such a little girl. "Sora, I think she has your stomach."

  • Author
"You don't have to tell me that," Sora stated with a laugh, starting towards the castle. Lydia was asking for food pretty often, and while he and Kairi did give her some snacks, they had to be careful so she ate enough at meals. Tonight was Terra and his pupil's night to cook, so the food would probably be pretty meaty. And Sora was looking forward to it already.

Riku carried Lydia inside, making his way to the dining hall of the castle. Aqua was already seated with her apprentice, and Kairi was there as well. He knew she would want her daughter, so he didn't hesitate walking over to her, since she was already out of her seat.

"Mommy!" Lydia said happily, recognizing the red hair of her mother immediately. She felt herself get handed off from Uncle Riku to her, and she set her hand on her mother's shoulder when she was in her hold.

"Hey, sweetie," Kairi said with a smile. "Did you have fun with Uncle Riku and Daddy?" She glanced at both of them before turning to set Lydia down for dinner. The little girl nodded and started chatting about picking flowers, and Kairi could only smile.
