Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora noticed Terrian, Skylar, and Hallie enter the room, goofing off like they normally did as friends. And behind them came Ven's apprentice. The room was already pretty full as Terra and his apprentice also brought out some food. There were only two people that were missing now, and Sora saw that there was already a chair for one of those people. Somebody must have thought ahead to get her a chair.
Riku took his usual seat next to where Terrian would be sitting, since Masters generally sat next to their apprentices. Sora and Kairi had an exception, as did Roxas and Namine, since they had children. It didn't really affect the way things worked at the table, so it was no big deal. Of course, Riku couldn't ignore the extra seat on the opposite side of the table. Lightning...

Lightning entered the room after the married couple and their child, behind Ven. He had spent the whole afternoon with her, since there was nobody else that she wanted by her side. She looked to the table and saw how large of a group it was, and that surprised her, even if Ven had told her that each Keyblader had an apprentice. Regardless, she looked to Ven and followed him when he waved for her to sit by him. She did sit down in her seat, and when she did, she glanced up finally to see the person who was sitting across from her. Riku.
Riku briefly locked eyes with Lightning, but then he looked away, knowing that he would most likely be receiving a glare if he looked too long. He caught Kairi sit in her seat now that Lydia was settled, and since a majority of the food was set on the large table, he imagined dinner would be starting soon.

Lightning glanced down at the plate, letting her bangs cover her eyes a little bit. She heard Terra's apprentice say that they could dig in, and she noticed her brother reach for food immediately. He never did lose his appetite, even after all these years. But Light had no appetite, even if she hadn't really eaten anything for a little less than a week.
Roxas dug in, just like he was told. But before he got anything for himself, he got a small amount of potatoes and carrots for his son. He was sure Namine was smarter at picking the food he could eat than he was, so he felt these were safe choices. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a few of the others go ahead and grab some grub as well.

Namine looked over at Roxas, seeing him get food for their son. Good choices, she thought, smiling at her husband before she got some food for herself. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught sight of the wedding band on her left hand, the ring never something she hated to see. She was Roxas's wife, and they happily had their own son. Things worked out well for them, and for most of their friends. All but one got their happy ending, but Namine hoped he would get that happy ending now.
Kairi could only chuckle as Skylar filled his plate completely, knowing that he already wasn't about to hold back on the digging in. He was going to take it literally. Goofball, just like his Master, she thought, gazing at her husband before getting some food for Lydia to enjoy. Once that was done, she grabbed some for herself. She had a feeling this was going to be a pleasant meal, or so she hoped. She knew that Riku and Lightning were...different, than what they once were.

Light felt Ven nudge her, so she looked up and saw him jerk his head towards the food. He wanted her to eat, and for his sake, she would try to swallow some down. She reached forward and took the smallest piece of meat before she reached for a small roll. She didn't know how much she could eat right now when she felt so sick because of grief, but she was putting on a good enough mask that none of the apprentices paid much attention to her. Except for that one, but she was ignoring him.
Riku cut into his meat before placing a piece in his mouth, already hearing conversation happen around the table. He honestly didn't know what to say. If he said the wrong thing...well, someone might not be happy about it. He had to be really cautious. Riku didn't want to make her cry, not again.

Terrian felt Skylar nudge him because of some cheesy joke he just told, but the teen just rolled his eyes. He was acting like his usual self, but he was also keeping an eye on the woman who was picking at her food. It's not poisonous, he wanted to say. But he knew that he would get scolded for saying such a thing. He couldn't help it, though. Something about this person just felt so wrong to him.
Riku glanced over at Skylar, looking across Terrian, because of the joke. Normally, Terrian would have laughed at that, but he didn't. Riku lifted an eyebrow slightly before following Terrian's gaze. ...Lightning? He nudged Terrian with his elbow, trying to get him to snap out of it.

Terrian glanced down at his plate and lifted the meat on his fork to his mouth, starting to chew as he looked over at the man who nudged him. He arched a brow in question at his Master, wondering if he had something to say to him. His Master looked...defensive.
Riku gave Terrian a look. Don't stare, it seemed to say. But it also said, Eat. Terrian needed to have the right nutrients if he was going to get stronger and grow well. Riku wanted his wish to be granted, for him to be strong enough to protect his friends.

Terrian interpreted Riku's look as "eat", but that was obviously what he was doing. And he read Riku's expression to get the other message that had been sent, one that was more strong that just "don't stare". It was protectiveness, and his Master's expression told him not to cross the line set before him and dare to hurt the woman with pink hair. He looked back down to his plate and forked another piece of meat, growing more curious by the second about that girl.
Riku glanced from Terrian to Lightning and then back down to his plate. He took a bite of his mashed potatoes before reaching for his glass, silent as everyone else talked around him. He wasn't in much of a talking mood, but if someone started a conversation, he wouldn't be anti-social.

Terra glanced up from his food, looking around the table and seeing that the apprentices were doing much of the talking and joking tonight. There was a tenseness at the table that only the Masters could probably sense, because they knew about the young woman sitting across from Riku. Riku saved her, obviously, but obviously her friends still didn't survive. He felt bad, but at least Lightning was alive. He just wished she would eat something now; Ven was too gentle to prod her to eat after he already did it once.
Roxas glanced down the table, seeing that two people sitting across from each other weren't talking. He knew how hard Riku worked on the watch, but when Roxas heard that he actually got Lightning back, he was surprised. It really worked, but neither of them seemed to be happy about it anymore. Roxas decided it was rude to stare, so he looked at the little boy near him. "Aiden," he said, seeing that he was starting to play with his food. He grabbed his hand and gently had him grip the spoon, then directing it toward his mouth. "Yum," Roxas said with a small nod. This is how you eat, son.

Lightning glanced down the table after she felt some stares leave her, the young woman seeing Roxas showing his son how to eat as Namine watched with a smile. Looking around the table, she saw that everyone got a happy ending. Everyone but her and the person across from her. She glanced up at him briefly once again before she looked back down at her plate, using her fork to move around the food that was on it. She had a bite or two of the meat and the same amount of the roll, but she wasn't hungry, even if she did need to eat.
Skylar stuffed his face with a bite of a roll first, followed by a scoop of mashed potatoes, and then some meat. He was starving. Lunch just wasn't enough of a meal for him, but he did need his energy. Master Sora always told him that. But, shouldn't the girl with the pink hair have the same knowledge? Why wasn't she eating?

Sora glanced over at Skylar, rolling his eyes at his apprentice as he ate like there was no tomorrow. The Master only noticed that, not who he was staring at. And not that other apprentices were starting to notice Lightning as well, even if she wore a mask to cover her grief. Her expression was more...blank, than anything. At least, what he could see of it earlier, since her hair purposely hid some of her eyes.
Riku came close to finishing his meal, spreading some butter on his roll before taking a bite. She was right across the table... The woman he loved was right there, when she hadn't been the night before. It was still something he loved to keep realizing, since it was so great. But...at the same time, it wasn't great because she wasn't happy. He wanted that to change.

Light may not have eaten her meal, but she did drink the glass of water in front of her. She was dehydrated and hungry enough as it was; she had to at least try to keep her body functional. But she also had to try and keep her sanity. So much was wrong in this future, even if it was right for most of the people at this table. She wondered...Was it okay to want to change the past so her friends lived? Would it somehow take away from the joy of the people sitting around her? Was this future really...the best future there could be?
Kairi finished her meal after a few moments longer of eating, and she took that time to wipe Lydia's face with a napkin. Once she was finished, she looked down the table without thought, though she did start thinking once she saw Riku and Lightning's posture. Neither of them were okay. It was something she could just sense from the two. What happened between them that they all missed?

There is seriously something going on here, Terrian thought, finishing the last of his potatoes and glancing down the table to see Kairi also looking towards the woman with pink hair. He followed her gaze to her and stared again, despite Riku's look telling him not to do that earlier. He wanted to know what was going on behind his back, and he wanted to know now. ...But he wouldn't do anything but stare while he was at the table; everyone else was still enjoying each other's company, and he wouldn't be dumb enough to ruin that.
