Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

Kairi forced herself to look away, instead watching Lydia inspect her vegetables. She knew better, but Kairi would only watch for now. A small smile made its way on her face at the look on her daughter's, and she instantly hoped for some happiness for Riku and Lightning. Whether it was through marriage, a family, just being together...or being apart...she wanted them to be happy. However they could.

Lightning glanced up when she felt a stare on her, her gaze going to the young man that sat beside Riku. She saw that his green eyes were locked on her even when she looked up, the teen not afraid to let her know that he was watching her. Get your brat of an apprentice to stop staring at me, she thought to Riku, looking down at her plate and playing with her food again. Enough is enough.
Riku suddenly sensed tension at the table, which made him lift a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. C'mon...he thought in aggravation. He was frustrated enough as it was. He didn't notice Aqua catch sight of his position as he lowered his hand and stared at his now empty plate. Whatever was going on, he wanted to get away from it.

Ventus blinked at the soft noise beside him, the young man seeing Lightning quietly push her chair out and walk away from the table. She was unnoticed by many, but not by him. Lightning, he thought, eyebrows furrowing in concern. His eyes followed her for a moment, but then he looked back to the person across from him, who was also watching Lightning leave. Terrian. He had been staring earlier, too. Why'd you have to do that...?
Riku caught the movement in front of him, and he could only watch Lightning as she left the table. He looked to Ven for an explanation, but he noticed that he was gazing at his apprentice. Terrian...? Riku turned his head to look at him before catching Lightning right before she left the room. What happened there?

Ven fought the urge to sigh, going back to his food while Terrian did the same. He would give Lightning some space, especially since if Ven left the table too, it would draw more attention to her. She was taking this future better than she was earlier with Riku, but it still wasn't good. It was really sad that her friends had to die...And her sister, too. Ven had yet to tell her about that.
Skylar had finished up his food, too into his meal to notice any disappearance at the table. Once he was done, he set down his fork and leaned back, looking around the table. "So, what's for dessert?" he asked with a cheesy smile. He was ready for some ice cream, or cake. Whichever would be excellent.
  • Author
"Your dessert's gonna be a butt-whooping," Terrian said with a grin. "C'mon, Skylar, let's get ready to fight." He wasn't going to fill up on dessert, which would slow him down in a fight. He pushed himself up, grabbing Skylar's shirt to pull him up as well. Maybe on the way to the fighting room, they'd pass that girl.
Skylar grunted when he was pulled up from his seat, the boy stumbling to catch his footing before whacking Terrian's hand away. "Fine, fine," he said, straightening his jacket. He then looked to his Master. "See you in a little bit, Master Sora!" he said with a nod and smile, turning to leave the room. He would surely supervise. None of them could fight each other without someone watching, just in case something went wrong.
  • Author
Sora "hmphed" to the two boys, nodding as they left. He would supervise the fight of course. Maybe everybody else would come to watch too, since it had been a while since they had their students fight like this. The fights between Skylar and Terrian were always pretty good, since they were so competitive.
Riku watched Terrian go before he looked back to his friends. He would be watching as well, since he needed to see where Terrian needed some work. He was doing just fine with the basics. In fact, he was doing excellent. But Riku still needed to teach him a lot before he was ready for the Mark of Mastery exam.

It didn't take long for everyone to finish dessert, and cleaning up didn't take too long either since most everyone pitched in. They were all heading to the fighting room now, where the two teens were preparing for an intense fight. Terra looked forward to seeing it.
Riku followed the others to the large room where Terrian and Skylar would be battling, and he naturally started over towards his apprentice when he saw him. A few pointers never hurt, though he was sure by now that Terrian knew just how Skylar moved and attacked. He was like Sora in a lot of ways, mostly speed and offense rather than defense.

Lightning eventually came back from her walk, though she hadn't walked too far. She just walked outside and sat on the step for a while. She went back into the castle and followed the sounds of fighting, seeing a large room with the door open. She stopped in the doorway and leaned a shoulder against it, watching Sora and Riku's apprentice battle. Not half bad.
Skylar lifted his Keyblade and blocked Terrian's attack, jumping back before releasing a Blizzard spell. He wanted to win this, to impress his Master and to finally beat Terrian at something. He always held the score over him for a few days if he lost, which was more often than not. It was kind of upsetting, but he always had the faith to keep going and try again. It was just the way he was, with Master Sora's encouragement helping along the way.

"Good!" Sora called upon seeing his student's move. Don't be afraid to keep your distance. Skylar's magic was a little stronger than Terrian's, so if he could wear him down with that and then go in for a physical attack, he'd do better than giving Terrian the chance to use his strength against him.
Riku heard Sora's encouragement, but he stayed silent. He kept his arms crossed over his chest as he watched the battle, wondering what Terrian was going to do in retaliation. The kid was smart; he knew what moves to pull and when to do it. If he needed a little help, Riku would offer it.
  • Author
"Hmph," Lightning hummed, also hearing Sora give advice to Terrian to help him out. Clearly he wanted his student to have a challenge. She briefly noticed Terrian look over at her direction in the doorway, but she just continued to watch the fight. She folded her arms over her chest, keeping her shoulder against the doorway as she remained unnoticed by the people who were so into the fight.
Riku smirked slightly upon hearing Sora's encouragement towards Terrian, his eyes looking over in his friend's direction. "Trying to show me up as a Master, Sora?" he called in taunting. He knew his friend was just being nice.
  • Author
Sora smirked, looking at his best friend beside him. "Nope, just making sure Skylar has a challenge. Terrian is slacking today." It was a rare sight, but Sora could tell he was faintly distracted. It was something that he could notice as a teacher, and he saw it pretty often in Skylar. He was too afraid to unleash all his skills on his friends sometimes.
Riku's smirk slowly faded as he looked to his student, noticing that Sora was right. He...wasn't concentrating. "Focus, Terrian!" he called. He hadn't lost a fight recently, which was great, but it seemed that something was off. But what?
  • Author
Terrian shifted his body, avoiding a blow that would have hit his shoulder otherwise. I am! he wanted to say. Because that was what he was doing, or so he thought. Maybe he wasn't as into it as he thought he would be, but no way was he going to lose a fight to Skylar today. He moved back on the offensive, a battle-cry leaving him as he swung at his best friend.
Skylar winced, stumbling back a step from the hit to his chest. Too close, he thought. He hadn't backed away in time, and for that, he was paying the price. Get back on the offensive...
  • Author
"Recover, Skylar!" Sora reminded his student. If he couldn't recover from a hard blow like that, then he needed to use his speed to keep a distance between him and Terrian until he could fight again. But Terrian wasn't giving him the opportunity to flee, the teen swinging his Keyblade at Sora's apprentice repeatedly. Oh boy...

Skylar winced at every hit, a final cry leaving him as he was forced back. He landed roughly on his back, a groan escaping him as he turned over to his side and set a hand on the ground. He had to get up...

Riku knew now was the moment. "Terrian, go!" he called. He had to get Skylar cornered, where he would have killed him off if he were an actual enemy.
