Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"That's what you did with me!" Lightning spat. "You're the one who flew in and recklessly tackled me and made me drop my family so they--" She cut herself off. She wouldn't say it. She couldn't. She couldn't say it aloud, or else it was like they were dead for good. And they weren't.
"Hmph." Riku smiled bitterly, lifting his eyes to the sky. "Well, you won't have to worry about me doing that again." He was destroying the only way to the past, so he couldn't be as reckless again with who he saved and how he did it.

Lightning only grunted, unsure of what to make of what Riku just said and of his expression. He was smiling, even if it was bitter. She wanted to smack him for smiling at a time like this, and not listening to her. For the millionth time, she realized that this was not the Riku that she fell in love with.
Riku's smile disappeared, the young man pulling his arm back before throwing the watch high into the air with a grunt. As soon as it left his hand, he summoned his Keyblade and pointed it at the invention, releasing a beam of white light. It pierced the watch when it was at the peak of the throw, destroying it instantly.

Light couldn't even find her voice to protest, everything happening so quickly. A startled gasp left her lips, her eyes on the sky where the watch was just destroyed. He...he just...killed them. He killed any chance of saving them. She felt tears appear immediately, her pale blue eyes growing watery. This can't be happening...
Riku released a breath once the watch was gone, the young man lowering his arm and summoning the Keyblade away. He turned his head, looking over at Lightning. He could tell she was upset, but when hadn't she been? This was for the best...or so he thought.

Lightning squeezed her eyes shut briefly, a tear dropping from each eye and dropping to the ground. She felt her fury and grief combine, the two forces making her feet move without her telling them what to do. And when she was right in front of Riku, her arm did the same. She curled her hand into a fist and took a swing at him, slugging him. You...murderer.
The force behind the hit caused Riku to stumble backwards and fall over his feet, the man falling roughly to the ground. He sat up with the support of one hand behind him, lifting the other to wipe away the blood that was dripping from his lip. It tasted like acid in his mouth, though he was sure Lightning would like to do much worse than just punch him. He looked up at her, not saying a thing.

"Hey!" Terrian called in outrage, standing at the bottom of the steps. Nobody would dishonor his Master like that! His black Keyblade suddenly appeared in his grasp and he chucked it, the weapon spinning as it went towards its target. And Lightning neither had the time nor the weapon to deflect it. She cried out in pain and fell down to her knees in front of Riku, though she deserved much worse than that. And Terrian would give it to her.
Skylar's eyes widened, and if he looked to Master Riku, he would have seen that his did the same. "Terrian, stop!" he hollered, racing down the steps to stop his friend from going any further. He wrapped his arms around him from behind, pinning his arms down. "What're you doing?!"

"She deserves it!" Terrian spat, struggling in Skylar's hold while Hallie watched from the top of the stairs in shock. "She's so disrespectful!" And ungrateful, too, according to Master Riku. When I get my hands on her... He'd wring her neck.

Lightning gritted her teeth and lowered her head, feeling the long cut on her back burn worse when a faint breeze came. Physical pain only reminded her of the pain in her heart. And the person in front of her reminded her of it as well. He destroyed my one chance to set things right. This time, it really is like he murdered them... She couldn't stand that mental picture.

Riku saw that Skylar was struggling to hold Terrian in place, and he only closed his eyes. Way to go, slick. You just embarrassed yourself in front of your prodigy. He opened his eyes and looked to Lightning, not saying anything before he looked back to Terrian. He sighed and pushed himself up, taking a few steps forward until he was just in front of Lightning. "Terrian, calm down," he said, holding out a hand. He'd handle this...

"Master!" Terrian protested, still struggling against Skylar. How could he be so calm about this?! He just got slugged! After all the good he did for her, she had the nerve to punch him. That girl was bad news; he just knew it. Especially when Riku said he loved her. That was when he knew Lightning was his worst nightmare. He didn't want anyone getting between him and his Master...
"Violence is only good enough to take out your anger, not settle the problem," Riku said, keeping his position. He had to calm Terrian down, or this could get really ugly. He would let Lightning punch him; he didn't care. It was just like he said: she was taking out her anger on him, not making anything better. "Remember what I told you in training: keep a cool head. Anything less will get you into trouble, right?" Calm down.

"She's the one in trouble!" Terrian spat, not heeding his Master's wishes. He was ticked off--beyond that, actually. He didn't like Lightning...not at all. He noticed her starting to stand up behind Riku, and he wished he would have thrown his Keyblade harder. She deserved a lot more pain for coming here and intruding on their lives. They were going fine before she came along.
"Terrian..." Riku said, his voice holding warning. His pupil needed to calm down, or he'd have to escort him back inside and have a serious talk with him. He was flattered that Terrian was so supportive, but this was a time where he had to let Riku handle the problem on his own.

"Why are you standing up for her?!" Terrian shouted in outrage. "You said it yourself; she's ungrateful. She's walking away now, even after all you've done for her!" He spoke the truth with the second sentence, seeing the soldier start away from the castle without shoes or a sword. Is she really that idiotic? She's wounded, too! How can Riku love her...?
Riku turned around a little, seeing that what Terrian said was true. He only shook his head, not knowing what else to do about Lightning. I've lost her again, he realized. "Back inside," he ordered, though he doubted Terrian would obey. He was really fired up.

"Riku!" Terrian cried without using the proper title. He heard Hallie scold him from her spot, but he didn't care. His Master, the person who took him in when he had nothing, was hiding something from him! He was turning against him for the sake of a person who betrayed him! Terrian couldn't have been more furious at the witch who caused his Master to change.
"Back inside, Terrian!" Riku roared, turning around. He looked at his apprentice with disapproval, hoping he would obey. I won't tell you again. He was angry enough; he didn't want to take it out on his student. He was like his son...

Terrian felt Skylar's hold on him loosen, probably in shock to Riku's holler. The teen elbowed Skylar and got him to back off before he stormed up the stairs. He would go inside, but he wouldn't be happy about it. He couldn't believe his Master was acting so irrational! He always looked up to him for being so calm and intelligent, but now he was a fool.
Skylar sidestepped when Terrian elbowed him, and he watched his friend go before looking back to Master Riku. He didn't look good... After making sure Terrian was heading inside, he brought a hand to his forehead and stared at the ground, which worried Skylar. Master Riku was usually so calm and collected, cool-headed. And now he was just...a mess.

Lightning was now in her bedroom, putting on her boots and fighting her tears. As soon as she had been out of everyone's sight outside, she used a dark portal and brought herself here. She wasn't leaving without a weapon. She just wondered if she would actually be leaving at all, or if Riku would have been smart enough to realize what her plan was. She didn't know herself what the plan was, only that she was leaving.
"Hallie, Skylar--inside," Riku said more calmly. They needed to get back in the castle before anyone asked questions, if anyone was still asleep. He and Lightning were pretty loud... Good grief. What's happening to us?!

Light gritted her teeth, wishing she fixed her broken hand before she tried with the boots. Regardless, she was just going to keep putting them on instead of reaching for her sword. She'd heal herself in a minute. Healing wounds was much easier than healing a heart...or bringing back the dead. She shook her head and a few stray tears fell, even if she wasn't one to cry. She couldn't help it when her family was involved; she loved them too much to be stoic.
