Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku wanted to smile at Light's grogginess, having missed such a little thing over the years. But now was no time for smiling; things weren't better completely. He pulled back a little more and adjusted himself so he could grab hold of her legs. He moved Lightning so her head was near the pillow and her legs were on the bed, though he did it gently. He didn't want to hurt her anymore than he already had, mentally or physically.

Lightning did feel tears resurface, but it was because of Riku's gentleness, not hurt. And she felt like that was pretty clear by the look in her eyes, and what she said as she looked up at him. "You're my Riku," she whispered. He wasn't a hardhearted man who was bent on keeping her prisoner here. He was going to try and set things right.
Riku's lips turned up slightly into a crooked smile, the man unable to fight it. "...Wouldn't you know?" he asked her softly. "You still have my heart, after all." He moved a hand and brushed some of her hair out of her face, then lightly taking his hand back. He pulled away from her completely, though his eyes stayed on her. He would let her rest for a few more hours, then check on her. He was going to give Terrian a more appropriate lesson today anyway, for his behavior a little while ago.

Light was about to say that Riku still had her heart too, but how long had he been without it? A few minutes? She still loved him, up until the very point where she would have died. And she loved him after that too, despite the heartbreak he caused her. She couldn't give up on him, ever. She smiled weakly at him instead, staying quiet. She didn't really know what to say, after everything.
Riku stood up from the bed, looking down at Lightning for a moment before his smile faded. "I'll see you later," he said with a small nod. He turned away, starting out of the room. It was Kairi and Hallie's day for breakfast, so they would probably whip up something nice. He'd make sure to save something for Light whenever she woke up.

Light hummed faintly once again, watching Riku go before she shut her eyes. She still had on her boots and her sword and everything, but she had slept in more uncomfortable ways than this. She was asleep again within a few minutes, unconsciousness taking her even if she had a lot to ponder. Exhaustion didn't care how much was on a person's mind.

Later

"Terrian?" Riku called, walking up the mountain path towards the Summit. He already searched the castle for his apprentice, and he was nowhere to be found. Riku, of course, didn't understand why. Terrian was at breakfast, but then he just disappeared and was late for training. What's going on with him? Is this about this morning?

  • Author
Terrian sat on the summit, hidden in the shade as he looked out over the area. He knew that he was missing his training session with Riku right now, but he didn't care. His "Master" was probably with Lightning. She changed everything. For the first time in over a year, everything was going great. But then she had to show up and ruin everything. She wasn't welcome here.
Riku jogged up the trail, his eyes roaming the area. "Terrian?" he called again. He rounded a corner and then stopped, his sharp vision helping him see his apprentice in the shadows on the summit. He lifted an eyebrow, curious as to why Terrian was up here. Their training session wasn't here today.

Terrian looked over to the side, remaining sitting the way that he was. He had one leg extended while the other was up, his arm resting on that knee. He had to admit, he was surprised to see Master Riku here. He saw him getting intimate with Lightning earlier, before breakfast. He figured that afterward, he would have gone to be with her again. He might as well do that. I'm not training today.
Riku started forward calmly, his eyes staying on his student. "What're you doing up here?" he asked once he was close enough. Terrian knew their training session was back at the castle today. After thirty minutes of waiting, Riku knew he had to find out what was going on. Little did he know that he would have to find Terrian in order to do that.
  • Author
"Sitting," Terrian said, being a smart-alack. He knew that he could have flown to another world, but where else would he have wanted to go? He wanted to check out that world that Lightning came from...Gran Pulse, Riku had said during their fight. But he thought that place was too obvious to go to, so he came here instead. However, this obviously wasn't a good hiding place either, since Riku was with him now.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed at the tone and answer he received, stopping next to Terrian. "What's going on?" he asked. "Why'd you miss training?" If he was just "sitting", it had to be pretty important sitting to miss their session this morning. Terrian was never late, ever. And he knew better than to miss training without having a valid reason.
  • Author
"Oh, I missed training?" Terrian asked with an arched brow, though his tone showed that he already knew that. "I figured you wouldn't show." That was half true, since his mentor was now so obsessed with Lightning. One minute he was yelling at her, the next he was holding her in his arms! He just didn't get it...I thought you said we didn't need anybody else in our lives. You said it could just be me and you, forever. Him and the person who took him in when he had nobody.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed more, not liking what he was hearing. He knew what Terrian was hinting at; he was intelligent enough to catch on. "This has to do with her, huh?" he asked, crossing his arms over his chest. "What's the big deal? Everything's fine, and that shouldn't affect our training sessions anyway. You know better than to use that as an excuse, Terrian." Lightning was resting, and as much as he wanted to be with her, he wanted to train Terrian as well.
  • Author
Terrian looked ahead of him, not speaking to humor Riku in conversation. If it shouldn't affect our training sessions, then why did you miss out yesterday, huh? If Riku could let Lightning get in the way of training, then Terrian could too. He wouldn't go on with normal life while that disrespectful, manipulative wench was around.
"Is this about this morning?" Riku asked after a moment of silence. He still wasn't happy about how Terrian handled the situation, striking Lightning like that. He had a hot head, like Riku, but it was important to stay calm when in the heat of a moment. He couldn't let his emotions control him, or he'd lose himself. That was something he taught him from the beginning.
  • Author
Terrian still wasn't humoring Riku, remaining silent. Maybe, he thought to the question. Riku stood up for Lightning even when she deserved pain for showing disrespect towards Riku like that. But now...He could see why she disrespected him. Riku lost a lot of respect from Terrian earlier, when he didn't stand up for himself. And how he was acting, too. He cared more about Lightning than he did Terrian.
"Terrian," Riku said tightly, starting to lose his own temper. His student needed to talk, now. If they were going to settle this calmly, they needed to talk. This had never happened before, but Riku still cared about Terrian like his own son. He had to have known that...
  • Author
You going to yell again, Master? Terrian thought silently without reacting to Riku. Fine. Go ahead. Go against everything you ever taught me and lose your temper. It would prove Terrian right about something: Lightning was changing Riku, and not for the better. And he was already working on a plan to get rid of her and set things right.
Riku sighed, lifting a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose as he closed his eyes. Stay calm, he ordered himself silently. He'd never lost his temper with Terrian, not until this morning when he was acting out. "You have to talk to me, Terrian. You know that," he said. He couldn't solve this problem if he felt like he was talking to a brick wall.
  • Author
"Nah." That was all Terrian said, still defiant. He didn't have to talk to Riku, nor did he know anything. He thought he knew his Master, but apparently he didn't, since he was acting completely different since Lightning came around. The one thing Terrian knew was that Lightning would betray Riku again the first chance she got. She'd break his heart, even after he saved her life, unless Terrian stopped it. He'd break her first.
Riku opened his eyes, uncrossing his arms. That was it. He stepped foward, reaching for Terrian's arm. "Get up," he ordered, pulling on the fifteen year-old's arm. He was done with the attitude. After Terrian's actions earlier this morning, Riku knew that this was coming from the same place. Terrian needed to straighten up.
  • Author
Terrian slipped his arm out of Riku's and set it back the way it was, looking ahead of him past Riku as he chose to ignore his mentor. Nah, he thought again. I'm not taking any orders today. He could guess now that Riku was going to try and straighten him out with a fight, but he wouldn't humor him. He wouldn't even summon his Keyblade.
Riku sighed, his jaw clenching. Fine, you leave me no choice. He bent down, grabbing Terrian before throwing him over his shoulder. "You want to act like a kid? Then you'll be treated like one," he said, glancing at his apprentice with disappointed eyes. This was unlike Terrian.
