Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Terrian felt outraged when Riku picked him up, and he almost elbowed his Master in the back of he head since he was in the right position to. Instead, he chose to remain silent. Humoring Riku wasn't something that he planned on doing today. So you have me over your shoulder. Big whoop. What're you gonna do now?
Riku started walking back toward the castle, knowing that he would have to do something to straighten Terrian out. He just didn't know what yet. He would figure it out, though. He had to.

Terrian blinked when he realized that Riku was taking him back to the castle, and that was where he drew the line. He wasn't going to be carried there and humiliated. "Put me down," he finally said, his voice a growl. He could act like a kid in front of Riku, but not in front of Skylar and Hallie. They looked up to him.
"I don't take orders from students," Riku said, continuing to walk despite the demand. He wasn't about to give in to Terrian, not after he defied him and started acting out. Riku wasn't happy with him, and he was sure that was obvious.

"But you do take punches from girls," Terrian retorted coolly, bringing up the sore subject from earlier. Riku put Lightning in line, and then she slugged him. And he just took it! He didn't even seem offended by it, which he should have been. How could his Master take such disrespect?
Riku's eyes closed briefly at that, but then he opened them as he started down the mountain path. "Maybe, but I don't attack them either," he quipped right back. "Not without good reason." Lightning may have hit him, but she was just angry. That's why he hadn't done anything in response. Terrian didn't know the whole story, which was why his response was wrong. "By the way, I've gotta teach you not to be so nosey. Maybe we should have a day dedicated to learning what's your business and what's not."

"How about you have a day dedicated to honesty first?" Terrian piped, ticked off. Riku--the person that he trusted most after his parents died--kept a big secret from him. He lied to him all the times that he said it was just the two of them, that they would always share a special bond. Lightning's bond with Riku made Terrian's bond with his Master vanish.
"Okay. We'll both participate then," Riku said, glancing over his shoulder at Terrian as he got closer to the castle grounds. Terrian wasn't being honest with him either; he never told him he had a problem with Lightning being here. True, Riku never told Terrian about his plans to get Lightning back, but they were both at fault here.

"No thanks," Terrian said, struggling to get out of his grasp now that they were getting closer to the castle. His friends couldn't see him like this; he'd be humiliated! He wasn't the one with a problem here; it was all Riku's fault. And Lightning's. Terrian would make the latter pay for all she did.
Riku felt Terrian struggling, and he decided that he would finally let him down. He dropped Terrian from his shoulder to be on the grass in front of him. He let his arms hang at his sides, staring down at his pupil. What was going on with him?

Terrian grunted when he landed on his bum, the teen staring up at Riku with vicious green eyes. He didn't want to be Riku's student anymore. He was strong enough to stand on his own, even if he was only fifteen. He rose to his feet, dusting off his jeans before looking back to his mentor. "I quit," he spat, turning around and walking towards the castle. I'm done with you. It was a rash decision, but it wasn't one he believed he would regret.
Riku grunted slightly, blinking in shock. "Terrian!" he called. He couldn't just quit! The Keyblade didn't work like that! Besides, he had nowhere else to go. What was he going to even do?

Terrian kept walking without falter, heading to the castle so that he could pack his things and leave. He wouldn't say goodbye to Hallie, Skylar, or any of the other apprentices; they wouldn't have understood why he was leaving. He figured that maybe he could go back to Twilight Town, where he lived in the streets. But not before he made Lightning pay for screwing up everything.
Riku was too shocked to say anything else, watching Terrian go in silence. He would actually leave, just like that? It was so unreasonable... Maybe going back in time messed up more relationships than one.

Lightning finished drying her hair, draping it over her shoulder as she looked in the mirror in her bathroom. She had woken up a little while ago and was unable to fall back asleep, so she got up and cleaned herself up. She tugged at her jacket and walked into her bedroom, already wearing her clothes. She had a lot of thinking to do; now she needed a real plan to set things right, not a magic watch. But little did she know that she also needed to be on her guard, because somebody then entered the castle with the intent of hurting her. Badly.
Riku stood outside for a couple minutes, but then he decided standing still wasn't going to solve this problem. He had to talk to Terrian. He started toward the castle, making his way toward the east wing to where he and his friends usually were. Walking away from this wasn't going to solve anything...

Hallie sat on the floor at the top of the stairs at the east wing, those stairs being the only way to get to the other rooms in the wing. She was there reading a book, which wasn't unusual for her. She loved to read, and this was easily her favorite spot to sit. The lighting was just perfect. She kept reading her book, though she did hear footsteps coming up the stairs. Was Skylar taking a break from his chores again? Or was Terrian done training?
Riku started up the stairs to the east wing, looking up in time to see Kairi's apprentice. "Hallie," he said then, continuing up the stairs. "Is Terrian in his room?" He had to talk to him before he made a mistake. Even after everything, Riku still thought of him as one of his own.
  • Author
Hallie looked up from the book and blinked, both at the question and the person asking the question. Riku didn't know where Terrian was? Weren't they supposed to be training? "No, Master," she said, shaking her head faintly and using the title of respect like she always did. "Terrian hasn't come this way." She had been sitting there for a long time; she would have noticed him.
Riku stopped, standing on the stairs at the answer. "He didn't?" he checked, looking toward the hallway of the east wing before looking toward the opposite end. He said he quit, but if Terrian wasn't gathering his things, where was he?
  • Author

"No," Hallie said again, faintly shaking her head. After breakfast, she saw Terrian going for a walk, but he should have been back by now. He never missed a training session. She started feeling concerned, unsure what was going on. This was so unlike him...

Lightning stood in her bedroom, a hand to her forehead as she had her back to the door. I'll need to find a way to go back in time to save them, unless I can find a way to bring them back to life now, she thought. But wouldn't they have been more like zombies than anything else? A living dead? Isn't that what I am now, without them? she thought in sorrow.

Terrian stalked into Lightning's room after the door was opened a crack, the teen not having the need to turn the knob or anything. He saw her standing there, and he knew that he had an opportunity to end things without her knowing what hit her. He silently summoned his Keyblade and started forward. You'll pay for ruining everything.

Riku stared down at his feet for a moment, thinking about what he was just told. If Terrian wasn't in the east wing, then that meant he had to be downstairs or in the west wing. Riku would have seen him if he was downstairs, which meant... Riku turned his head, a startled grunt leaving him. Light. He went down the stairs quickly, hurrying toward the west wing. Terrian was going after Lightning...

"M-Master?!" Hallie cried in confusion, seeing him run off suddenly. Is Terrian in trouble? She wondered if she should follow the Master and assist him, but he didn't tell her to, so...She didn't know what to do.

Lightning lowered her hand from her forehead slowly, looking up from the ground to the wall in front of her. And because of the lighting, she noticed a little bit of a shadow. She spun around to see who it was only to get an arm across her chest, the person pushing her back a few steps so her back was against the wall. She didn't struggle against him, not when he pointed the tip of his Keyblade at her neck. Terrian...

Riku only sprinted to the other side of the castle, climbing the stairs to the west wing quickly. Terrian wouldn't... He couldn't... Riku rounded a corner, nearly colliding with Kairi and Lydia in the process.

"Riku!" Kairi cried in shock, grasping Lydia's hand a little tighter at the sudden appearance of her best friend. But, upon seeing his expression, she became worried. "What's wrong?"

"I can't talk. Sorry," Riku replied, stepping past the two as he hurried down the hall. He heard Lydia call for "Uncle Riku", but he didn't have time to hold her. He had to get to Lightning.

"You're not a murderer," Lightning stated quietly, lifting her gaze to Terrian's eyes as he stood about an inch above her. "Why are you doing this?" Why was he pointing his weapon at her? She hadn't threatened him in any way.

"I've been taught not to have compassion for people who get in the way of us doing our job," Terrian said lowly, the tip of his weapon touching Light's neck. "I've known from the start that you're trouble, and today only proved it. You don't belong here." And I'll put you where you belong: the grave. And I won't feel guilt over it, because whether Master Riku understands it or not, this is what needs to be done.
