Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku didn't say anything, keeping his hand where it was as he kept his eyes on Lightning. Clearly she was unconscious a moment ago, but he was glad she was coming to. He never liked to see her in such a state.

Lightning exhaled a soft breath, preparing herself for the increased pain that would come when she opened her eyes. She peeked them open, and sure enough, the light made her cringe. She closed her eyes again and grasped Riku's hand a little, preparing herself to open her eyes fully this time. I'm stronger than this.
Riku's eyes softened when Lightning hesitated opening her eyes, and he was intelligent enough to figure out that she had a head injury. He pulled his hand out from underneath hers, shifting his position so his arms went underneath her. He didn't have any problem lifting her up and holding her to his chest, though he made sure to do it gently. "Sora," he said, turning to his friend. "Go check on Terrian for me, would you? I'll be there in a minute."

Light heard Sora say "yeah" and start out of the room, but she was more aware of Riku picking her up. Her aching head found his shoulder, and she could feel a difference in Riku's muscles compared to the last time he picked her up, seven years ago. "I'm fine, Riku," she mumbled. He didn't have to hold her.
"I'll be the judge of that," Riku responded softly, glancing down at Lightning before he took her out of her room. A lot of the furniture was destroyed, so she would rest in his room. He walked into his bedroom and approached the bed, setting her down gently. Once he was sure Light was okay, he would go see how his student was doing.

Lightning felt Riku set her down on the edge of the bed, her legs over the side as she sat upright. She took her head off his broad shoulder and lowered her chin a little, opening her eyes a crack and seeing her knees within sight. Her head was pounding, but what did Riku expect? His student clearly had the strength and knowledge to knock somebody out.
Riku looked down at Light for a moment, but then he bent down a little to get a good look at her face. "He hit you in the head?" he said, making sure that his assumption was correct. Riku taught Terrian a move like that, in case he needed to take an enemy in for questioning to get some useful answers. Of course, he never planned on him performing that kind of move against the woman he loved.

"Mm," Light hummed with a small nod, closing her eyes again. Yeah, he broke out of her grasp, spun around, and then struck her in the head. She had thought Riku had at least seem the last part, but apparently he hadn't. She couldn't say she blamed him for missing it, though, since it happened so quickly. And he had been focused on Maleficent anyway.
Riku's eyebrows furrowed slightly, and he reached into his pocket for a small vile. It was a potion, and he wordlessly threw it into the air. It exploded just over Lightning's head, and he watched it sprinkle over her. He hoped that would take away the pain, but he was sure she would need some rest, at least for more than a few minutes. While she did that, he would have to go see Terrian. They really needed to have a talk.

Lightning felt the potion refresh her, also taking away the pain from the headache. She still felt a little dazed, but she would be alright. She opened her eyes and looked at Riku in front of her, nodding slightly both in thanks and reassurance. Thanks. I'm okay. She wasn't going to worry him about her health, especially when nothing was wrong.
"...I've gotta go talk to Terrian," Riku said softly after a moment. He didn't want to just run out on her, but she could relax in here until she felt she was okay enough to get up and move around. She was an independent woman; she could decide when she was okay enough to get back on her feet. Until then, he would have to talk to his apprentice...if he was still his apprentice.

"Guess that's my cue to stay here and rest even if I don't feel like I need to, huh?" Light asked softly, smirking weakly. She always did understand what Riku never actually said, and she wasn't afraid to say it aloud. He was bold, and so was she. And she was also fine, but she would stay here just to make him feel better.
Riku's lips turned up into a crooked smile. "Do what you want," he told her softly. He then lifted a hand to her face. "Just don't collapse on me again, 'kay?" His smile remained as he looked her in the eye, being serious but also taunting. If she didn't feel like she could stay on her feet for long, he didn't want her to push herself. He was very protective of her, and her well-being.

"Hmph," Lightning hummed with the same weak smirk, the young woman nodding but not forcing Riku to move his hand. Yeah, okay. She really didn't want to collapse, not that she believed that she would. Still, it was probably best to take it easy for at least a few minutes. There was no place for her to go anyway, since she assumed Riku would want to be alone with Terrian.
Riku ran his thumb over Light's cheek briefly before pulling his hand back, his smile still in tact as he looked at her. After a moment, it faded, the young man turning and starting out of the room. He approached the door and turned in the hallway, knowing he'd have to find Terrian, Skylar, and Hallie before anything else.

Terrian sat on a chair, looking down at the ground as he, Hallie, Skylar, and Master Sora were alone in the kitchen downstairs. That was where Skylar and Hallie plopped him down before Skylar started asking a million questions and Hallie moved to stand behind the chair and massage his shoulders in a sisterly way. He could feel her worried gaze on him, but what was there to say? It seemed like Riku betrayed him, and if Maleficent was an enemy of Riku, didn't he belong on the witch's side? He was sure that was where he belonged, especially if she could help him get his parents back. But he knew things wouldn't be easy, especially now that everyone was so protective of him. He could see it already.

Sora leaned against the wall, arms folded over his chest as he glanced up at Terrian and his friends. They all seemed alright, though the Master couldn't read Terrian's expression after the incident. He hadn't said much, only that he wasn't the one who would punish Terrian for any wrong doings. That would be Riku's job.

Riku went downstairs, hearing voices in the kitchen. Sure enough, it was Sora's apprentice doing the talking, asking a lot of questions and probably bugging Terrian. He walked in, stopping at the doorway. His presence immediately put an end to Skylar's questioning, but Riku's eyes were stuck on his apprentice. "Terrian," he said softly. They needed to talk.

Terrian looked up at the call, snapping out of his thoughts and seeing Riku in the doorway. He knew that tone, and apparently Hallie did as well. She took her hands off his shoulders but kept her worried eyes on him as he wordlessly stood up and started towards the door. I am so screwed. If Riku was mad at him before, he would be furious now.
Riku didn't even have to say the words, Let's take a walk; Terrian obviously knew the drill. He stepped over so his ex-apprentice could leave the room, and then he would follow. He looked to Sora and nodded in gratitude, appreciating him supervising for a moment or two.

Sora nodded faintly in return, his expression serious but showing advice. Don't just yell at him. We need to get him back on our side. It seemed like Maleficent really got to him; he would have left if it wasn't for Skylar and Hallie, even if the former wasn't wise enough to not ask questions even when Terrian didn't want to talk. Someday, he'd learn how to keep his mouth shut.
Riku looked away from Sora, to Skylar and Hallie. He gave them a look that expressed his gratitude as well, for getting Terrian out of there when they did. He then left the room, following his apprentice until they were outside the castle. He didn't even know where to start...

Terrian walked down the steps in silence, his arms folded over his chest because of the tension in the air. He kept his eyes on the steps as he heard Riku close behind him, the Master probably not wanting to give him the chance. But he wouldn't run right now; he had a lot to think about before he made a decision. He was rash before, but things were too complicated now for him to act the same way at this moment. He needed to be rational.
Riku went down the steps a little faster, catching up to Terrian. He stuffed his hands into his front pockets, looking over at the boy next to him. "...I wish I wasn't angry with you, but I am," he said softly. He couldn't believe what just happened in there, and how easily Terrian accepted Maleficent's lies. It was...surprising. Riku thought he taught him better than that.

Terrian nodded faintly, still looking down at the ground. Of course you're mad. I threatened your girlfriend and knocked her unconscious. ...But it's more than that, isn't it? But how could that be right when Riku didn't care about him? That was what he believed, considering Riku was hardly honest with him the past two years, or so he thought.
"But what's worse than that," Riku said, looking forward again, "is that I'm disappointed in you." Very disappointed, actually. Terrian surprised him in more ways than one today, and he didn't like any of it. True, he was at fault as well, but Terrian acted out irrationally. It wasn't like him.
