Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"You have my word," Riku said with another small nod. He wouldn't lie about such a thing; it was too important. If Terrian was completely set on getting his parents back, Riku would help him. After all, he was like the son Riku never had. He would do anything for him.

Terrian didn't dare ask the question that was in the back of the head, the one he thought just a minute ago. Why are you doing this? He didn't understand why Riku would give him another chance like this. He just...needed some time, to think this over. This was way too much to take in for one day.

"Master Riku? Terrian?" Hallie called, rounding a corner and seeing the two sitting together. She hoped that she wasn't interrupting anything, but they wanted everyone to be together for dinner tonight, especially after what happened today. She wanted to be with Terrian again and see if he was okay. "Dinner's ready.

Riku looked over his shoulder at Kairi's student, and he nodded. "Be right there," he said. He would tell Terrian one more thing, then they would head back. This was a big decision to make. If Riku saved Terrian's parents, he wouldn't have the Keyblade or this lifestyle. Everything would be different. The thought saddened the Master slightly, but he knew it would be for the best.

Hallie dipped her head faintly in respect to the Master before she turned around and started back towards the castle. She wanted to wait for Terrian, but she didn't want to be rude and eavesdrop on a conversation. She was sure that she would be able to judge Terrian's condition later.
Riku watched Hallie go before he looked back to the boy who used to be his apprentice. "You've heard what I had to say on the matter," he told him. "It's up to you whether we follow through. Take a few days to think about it, and let me know your decision when you're ready." Time would always be on their side with this matter, so there was no rush.

Terrian nodded faintly, not knowing how else to react. Okay. He wished that he could easily say that he wanted to rescue his parents, but he knew that the situation wouldn't be easy. This wasn't something that he could be rash about. Like Riku said, he needed to think about it.
Riku smiled weakly before clasping Terrian on the shoulder. He then got up from his spot, knowing that the others were waiting for them before they started dinner. They had to head back to the castle and wash up.

He...he smiled at me, even after everything? This just keeps getting weirder and weirder. Regardless, Terrian pushed himself up and dusted off his clothes. It was time that they headed back to dinner, and he wondered how that meal would go. Would the others be as...gracious, as Riku was?
Skylar shared a look with Hallie when she came back from spreading the news that dinner was ready. Everyone else was here but Master Riku and Terrian. What were they talking about anyway? He ran a hand through his dark hair, waiting for his best friend to get back. He hoped everything was okay.

"Skylar, no slacking off now," Sora said with a smile, stepping beside his student and ruffling his hair. "C'mon, we've still got a lot more food to bring out." They were in charge of dinner tonight, and it was even harder for Sora to make Skylar not burn down the building than usual. He wasn't a good cook, which was why Sora ordered him around and didn't let him do too much. He had hoped dinner would distract him from Terrian, but it hadn't. Where are you guys...?

Skylar smiled sheepishly at his Master, nodding. "Right, sorry," he said. He retreated to the kitchen to get some more food, unaware that his best friend and Master Riku were returning to the castle.

Riku let Terrian walk ahead of him, able to hear that chatter through the corridor that was coming from the dining hall. He wasn't surprised; it was Sora and Skylar's night to cook, and they always made some pretty tasty stuff. He was able to think about such a thing since he and Terrian made amends. He was forgiven for the problem with Maleficent; it was a mistake. Riku made them a lot in the past, so he could relate. He was set on making things right, now.

Lightning came out of the kitchen that was attached to the dining room, nearly running into Sora when he came back into the kitchen. "Jeez, Sora, leaving me with all the work," she said, rolling her eyes. Of course, she was being sarcastic, like she often was with Riku. She was sarcastic when she was tired, and that was what she was now. But she had to be on her feet doing something, or else she would have felt pathetic.

"Yeah, sorry," Sora said, seeing Terrian enter the dining room out of the corner of his eye as he snuck past Lightning. "Old lazy habits die hard." He smiled at her sheepishly, and he saw her roll her eyes. She's acting more like herself today. That's good. He wondered how Riku would handle that.

Riku followed Terrian in, though he stopped upon seeing Lightning come out of the kitchen and tease Sora. Work? She's making dinner? he thought, lifting an eyebrow slightly. Was that what was going on? If so, then Sora really was lazy...

Lightning set down the food on the table without noticing Riku and Terrian before she turned back to the kitchen. She had offered to help out for some reason. Actually, she had a few reasons. One was that she didn't want to be in bed. Another was that she felt like she needed to at least make an effort to manage in this time period. She wasn't going home anytime soon.
I'll bug Sora about it later, Riku figured, turning and heading for his usual seat beside Terrian. He caught Kairi's eye in the process, in which he simply nodded. Everything seemed okay, and he hoped it would be. He was set on making it that way, at least.

Hallie glanced at Terrian when he sat down beside her, her eyes locking onto him and staying there. "Hey, you okay?" she whispered, his expression unreadable for her. This was so unusual. Terrian was always in control of any situation he faced, and now... He looked over at her and nodded, but she wasn't sure she believed him.
Kairi sat in her seat, entertaining Lydia as her husband and his apprentice finished bringing out the food. And Lightning too, of course. Kairi found it hard to believe sometimes that she was actually older than Lightning now, at twenty-five. Time travel really did mess with people's minds sometimes, but it would be alright soon. She had faith that things would work themselves out.

Sora glanced back into the dining room, seeing Hallie and Terrian already sitting. "Skylar, go ahead," he said, jerking his head in that direction. "Light and I will finish up." He saw her look up and give him a look when he volunteered her, but he knew that she was just joking. He smirked at her, running a hand over the back of his hair sheepishly. Glad you're acting more like yourself, Lightning.
"Got it, chief," Skylar said with a small thumbs-up. He then approached the dining table to sit by his friends. He saw that Hallie looked a little worried, but he was sure Terrian would be fine. His friend was always really strong.

Sora took the seat between Kairi and Ven after he brought out the food, and he noticed that the empty seat had somehow changed to a new location tonight. He honestly didn't know how it ended up next to Riku, but he didn't think that he or Lightning would mind. She walked into the room and set a basket of bread on the table, and when she noticed where her seat was, she was surprised. However, she still walked over and sat down next to Riku without hesitation.
Riku turned his head, surprised to find that Lightning would be the one sitting next to him tonight. Of course, he didn't mind in the least. He was always happy to have her nearby, and at dinner? Why not? Maybe they could make up for the dinner last night. Things hadn't exactly gone well.

Lightning scooted in her chair and looked over at Riku. She caught him staring at her, and she arched a brow at him in question. Something up? She wasn't sure. She hadn't seen him since he took Terrian out over an hour ago. She had rested in bed for a few minutes and then gone to help Sora and Skylar with dinner. Good thing she did, too, because they were running behind because of Maleficent. Making a meal for so many people was no small feat.
Riku caught onto Lightning's look and he shook his head. It's nothing, he told her silently. He turned his attention forward, hearing Skylar explain that since everyone was here, it was time to dig in.

Namine suddenly heard Aiden start crying, and she figured it was because the loud noise from Skylar startled him. She reached over and took her child out of his seat and picked him up, starting to carry him out of the room while others started to get food. This happened every once in a while; Aiden had sensitive ears. That made it hard for him to sleep through a whole night, since he woke up and started crying at every noise. And that meant Namine and Roxas weren't sleeping much either.
Roxas reached out a hand toward Namine, though it was too late. She already had Aiden and was walking out of the room. He lowered his hand, as well as his sight as he gazed at his empty plate. The last few nights had been rough on both of them, and Aiden. He was really sensitive, and even a small thump down the hall was enough to disturb him. Poor guy.
