Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Namine took Aiden to the nearby lounge and sat down in the rocking chair, shushing her child as she set him in her lap and rocked him gently. C'mon, little guy...calm down, please? She hated to hear him crying, and that was all that she heard for a few days now. She wanted to hear him laughing again...And as selfish as it sounded, she wanted to sleep again. She sighed and shut her eyes, lowering her head closer to Aiden's as she kissed his blond hair.
Roxas waited a moment before he pushed himself up from his seat, silently excusing himself. He left the kitchen and allowed his trained ears to easily pick up on Aiden's crying. He approached the lounge and saw his lovely wife holding their child, which made his eyes soften. She looked exhausted.

Namine lifted a hand and started running her hand over Aiden's soft hair, the young woman shushing him again even if her lips were right by his hair. His crying started to soften, thank goodness. He's just tired, the poor guy. She wished that he didn't have so much trouble sleeping...
Roxas walked into the room, making sure to be quiet. His son certainly inherited his sensitive ears, which was unfortunate for this reason alone. He couldn't sleep sometimes, which affected the way he and Namine slept as well. He approached his wife silently, setting a hand on her shoulder gently. He was really too exhausted to be hungry, so he would skip dinner tonight. If she wanted, she could go back and eat with the others.

Namine turned her head so her cheek was on Aiden's hair, her eyes opening to see her husband beside her. "Go back to dinner," she whispered. She was alright here with Aiden. She was finally getting him to calm down, not that his crying usually lasted too long. Maybe now she could coax him to sleep...
"You sure?" Roxas whispered softly, tilting his head. "I can handle it if you're hungry." He got up last night with Aiden, especially with all of the ruckus between Riku and Lightning going on. That had been a nightmare.

Namine shook her head faintly, though Aiden didn't seem to notice too much. "I'm not hungry," she whispered. She mostly just wanted to be in dinner to be with everyone, but she wasn't going to do that if Roxas wasn't with her. He had rocked Aiden for a while this morning, so it was only fair that she took care of him a little now.
Roxas nodded slightly, bending down a little to place a gentle kiss on the top of Namine's head. When he pulled back, he took his hand off her shoulder. "I'll save you something," he whispered gently, just in case she was hungry later. He smiled weakly at her before glancing at their son, then turning and leaving the room to join the others. He certainly hoped things were more quiet tonight; everyone desperately needed some rest.

Namine smiled faintly at her husband and watched him go before she focused on soothing Aiden again. She held him gently and shut her eyes, running her hand over his hair again. I love you, buddy, she thought silently. She wasn't even sure it was possible for her and Roxas to have children, since they were Nobodies. But Aiden was completely normal, and she couldn't have been more relieved.

When Roxas came back in, Kairi was the first to notice, since she was near the entrance to the dining hall. "Hey," she said softly, watching her friend reclaim his seat. "Everything okay?" He and Namine left out of the blue.

Roxas nodded, running a hand over his naturally spikey hair. "Yeah, Aiden's just a bit fussy," he said with a small shrug. There wasn't much more they could do but what they were doing now. Hopefully things would turn around.

Sora glanced across Kairi to Lydia, smiling softly at his daughter eating her own food. So glad Kairi and I are past that phase with Lydia, he thought. He remembered quite a few nights where neither of them slept. That was what Roxas and Namine were going through now, but at least things would turn around soon. It was just a phase.
Kairi smiled weakly, nodding slightly. "It'll turn around soon," she said. "Lydia was like that for a while too. Just give him time." Aiden wouldn't be so sensitive in a little while. He was barely a year old, anyway. Those phases would come and go.

Hallie kept glancing over at Terrian during the meal, though everyone else was acting normal. She knew that Terrian was strong, but he seemed pretty lost. He was sort of picking at his food. She was worried about him, even if Skylar didn't seem as concerned as she was. If anything, he was concerned about the attention Hallie gave Terrian. The two boys always did compete for her attention, after all.
Skylar continued talking to his friends that sat across from him, despite that neither of them appeared to be listening. He didn't notice at first, but when he finished, he did. "...Hallie?" he asked, waving his hand at her across the table. "Hello?"
  • Author
Hallie blinked, glancing at her food before she looked across to Skylar. He had been in the middle of telling a joke, right? That was her guess, since that was what he did so often. "That was funny, Skylar," she said with a small smile and a weak laugh. Gosh, I need to pay attention here. I didn't even know he was talking to me!
Skylar's eyebrows furrowed, the boy blinking in surprise. "...I didn't say anything funny, Hallie," he said, confused. He hadn't been telling a joke or anything; he had been asking her a question. She...wasn't paying attention.
  • Author
"Oh, um..." Hallie looked down, tucking back a strand of brown hair. Darn it! Recover from this! "...I thought it was funny. Call me weird, but..." She hated lying, but she didn't want Skylar to feel ignored. He was never too happy whenever that was the case.
Skylar only remained confused. "Huh?" he said softly. She thought sparring against him this weekend would be funny? What, was he that big of a klutz or joke? Did she not want to? All she had to do was say so...

Hallie sighed, looking over at Terrian for some kind of support. But could she expect any from him tonight? He wasn't himself, clearly. He was never this quiet. Another reason he has me worried.

"She thought it was funny because we already had plans to train together this weekend," Terrian said, picking at his food as he gave Hallie the support she desired. "She thought you already knew that." Hence why she would think it was funny. He looked over at her and saw her smile weakly, thanking him for his help. And he couldn't help but smile back weakly. Anytime, Hallie.

"Oh...okay," Skylar said. "Some other time, then." He smiled softly at the girl across from him before he went back to eating. In that case, it made sense. I always assume things too soon...

Hallie smiled weakly at Skylar, though she felt bad over this whole lying thing. "We could always make it a threesome, you know," she said, referring to training. She didn't notice Terrian's slight change in expression, his face showing he hoped it would just be the two of them. The competition for her was pretty high, since she was pretty awesome.
Skylar briefly glanced over at Terrian, the look subtle. He caught that look, and he politely declined. "Nah, that's alright," he said with a small shake of his head. "I'll find someone else." Master Terra's apprentice may have wanted to spar; it was always good to put brute strength against speed for practice anyway.

"Okay, if you're sure," Hallie said softly, starting to eat her food again. She would make it up to Skylar sometime, when things calmed down. She wasn't sure what was going to happen after what happened with Terrian today, but she would be on her guard and training harder than ever.
"I am," Skylar said with a cheesy smile. It faded, however, though he covered it up with stuffing food into his mouth. He had to admit, he and Master Sora made some pretty tasty dessert. He had moved on to that already, since he ate his main course so quickly.

While Terrian kept picking at his food on one side of Riku, Lightning was finishing up the roll that she had. She had eaten much more than last night, though it probably still wasn't as much as she should have eaten. She just...didn't have an appetite. There was nothing wrong with the food; it was just the situation. She was happy to be by Riku's side and on good terms with him, but there was no way for her to get back to the past now. Which meant that her family was really dead.
