Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"I don't have much of a choice," Sora said honestly, looking to Riku when he spoke to him. He would have felt very guilty if he forced the Keyblade to submit to him. He felt as if he would have disgraced the nature of the weapon if he held it for the wrong reasons, too. No, he would wait, and if he was meant to have it, it would come back to him.

Riku nodded, proud of his younger best friend. He liked that he was so determined to do this in the right fashion. Getting the Keyblade back would take longer and be a more complicated process, but he had a feeling Sora could do it. "We're behind you one-hundred percent," Riku assured him, looking to Kairi when he said it.

Kairi turned her head, seeing Riku looking at her. She then looked over at Sora, silently nodding. Of course they would; Sora needed their faith. She was willing to give it.

Sora glanced over at Kairi, catching her gesture before he looked back to Riku. "Thanks," he said with a faint nod, a small smile appearing on his lips. He appreciated it, especially since he had half-expected them to be opposed to the idea. He knew that this wouldn't be an easy path, but if he had done as Ven wanted with the Keyblade, then he wouldn't have been able to live with himself. That wasn't the way he was meant to get his Keyblade back.
"Sure," Kairi replied softly, just as Riku nodded. She smiled at Sora, simply because he did it, hers being of equal enthusiasm. They learned recently that they needed to stick together through thick and thin. It was essential.

Sora looked over to Kairi when she spoke, and her soft smile made his grow a little bit. He loved that smile, even if they were just friends for the time being. But he wasn't going to think about that right now. What was going to happen with the Keyblade? Would it just...come back to him? He knew being Ven's successor wasn't the right move, but which move would be the right one?
Kairi matched Sora's gaze, her smile remaining for the time being. Sora had his friends back, so that had to help him somehow. Right? Now...all he needed was his Light...

Sora lowered his gaze after a few moments, scratching the side of his head when he felt emotions he would have felt when he and Kairi were together. Now wasn't the time to focus on their relationship, right? But...He did want to be with her. He was just her friend now because it seemed like that was what she wanted.
Kairi's smile faded when Sora looked away, and so she looked over to the water not too far off. She was his Light. He needed her. But what good did she ever bring him? He was always in trouble because of her, wasn't he? And now he even lost his Keyblade because of her!

Sora would just have to wait. He would never, ever force Kairi to do something that she didn't want to do. Her well-being always came before Sora's, even if he really did need her right now. But he would make do with what he had, which was her friendship. It would have to be good enough.
Kairi closed her eyes, lowering her head a little. Why did I have to mess everything up? she wondered silently. Things were awful, and she was the cause of it all. Why kind of friend was she?

Sora glanced over at Riku before he turned to look over at the ocean. Things felt a little...weird now. He didn't feel like it was him, and he didn't feel like it was Riku, either. But then again, it could have been; he and Riku never really talked about what his nightmares were like. Were they still creating tension?
Riku was currently glancing from Sora to Kairi, confused. They were all smiles just seconds ago, and now they were...different. He arched an eyebrow, but didn't say anything. Young love, he simply thought. They'll get through this.

Sora wouldn't worry about it. No, he wasn't going to think about his friendships with Riku and Kairi. Things were sorted out, and he wasn't going to change that by asking any stupid questions. He had to focus on the Keyblade...
Riku looked to Sora, lowering his arms when he decided that things needed to get started. "Any idea on what you're going to do first?" he asked, referring to the Keyblade. He wasn't sure how to do it, and as far as he knew, neither did Sora. So...

"No," Sora confessed, shaking his head and turning to Riku. That was where his thoughts started, but he got sidetracked. He had no ideas on how to get the Keyblade back, which wasn't good. What was he supposed to do?

"I was originally intending on going to Master Yen Sid," Riku mentioned, though he was sure Sora already knew that. "Maybe we can ask him." But then he turned his head to look at the redhead beside him. "I won't leave, though, since I'm needed here. I'll write him instead."

Kairi looked up at Riku when she found him directing his statements toward her. She wordlessly nodded, though she couldn't help but smile weakly... It was inevitable, really.

"Alright," Sora said with a faint nod, understanding what Riku was referring to. But at the same time, he was glad Riku was staying so he himself could hang out with him. He had really missed Riku lately, after all. He was like his big brother.
Riku turned his head to look ahead at Sora again, and he nodded. "Might as well get a head start on that letter," he declared. "Meet you guys on the islet; I may need a little help." He glanced at Kairi before turning around completely, heading back the way he'd come with the redhead. He needed to go find some pen and paper...and a bottle.

Sora watched Riku walk off, and he instinctively looked to Kairi when she was still standing there. Was she going to go too? Was he supposed to walk with her? Or was he supposed to leave her alone? There was so many things he had to think about now that they weren't dating!
Kairi looked over her shoulder to watch Riku go, but then she turned back around. Her eyes went from the sand to Sora, meeting his gaze. But she felt her cheeks warm slightly, a faint smile forming on her face since she caught him staring at her. However, her gaze darted back down to the sand, hands still linked behind her back.

Sora felt himself get shy when Kairi caught him staring at her, and he automatically looked down towards the sand. Was he supposed to apologize? "Uh...sorry," he said, deciding that was the proper thing to say. He hadn't meant to stare; it just happened.
Kairi closed her eyes, her smile remaining. Sora didn't have to apologize for that... But it was still sweet. "It's alright," she assured him softly, opening her eyes again to look at her feet. She loved those blue eyes...

Sora felt himself smile weakly as he looked towards the ocean. "I, uh, guess we should head to the islet," he said, figuring he would break through the silence again before things got too awkward.
Kairi lifted her eyes to look at the boy that she still had so many strong feelings for, just gazing at him in silence for a moment. Then, she nodded. "Okay," she said in agreement.

Sora nodded slightly, and even though he was further away, he started forward first. He walked past Kairi and went in the direction Riku went, knowing it would only take them a few minutes to get to the islet.
