A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"I'm not desperate for anything," Lightning said calmly, smirking faintly. "I already have your attention, after all." She was just keeping his attention on her for a little longer, and she was keeping hers on him. It was about time they felt a little lighthearted instead of sorrowful and full of grief.

"Okay then. Mission accomplished," Riku said with a nod. He gave Lightning a small wink before he stood upright and stepped away from her. It was time he left and cleaned up.

Light opened her eyes in time to see the wink and see Riku going away, and that was the last thing that she wanted. She took a hand out from behind her head and grasped Riku's ankle, stopping him before he was too far away. He wasn't leaving her that easily.

Riku stumbled slightly, but it wasn't enough to make him fall. He looked down at Lightning's face, arching an eyebrow. "What?" he asked softly. She could come with him, if she wanted. He just needed to shower, since he had a rough night looking for the materials.

"Leaving without a goodbye isn't very classy either," Lightning commented quietly, her soft blue eyes locked on Riku. She said that instead of saying something else, since that other thing probably would have made things awkward. She didn't want to be alone. She longed for his presence for so long and pushed him away out of guilt, but now she was holding onto him out of love.

Riku smiled ever so slightly, his eyes softening at the look in Lightning's pale blue eyes. "Come with me," he told her softly, holding out his hand for her to take. They would go to his room on the west wing, which had a bathroom attached. He needed to clean up, then they could be together.

Lightning rolled onto her stomach and pushed herself up a little bit before she reached for Riku's extended hand. The young woman gripped it and stood up, sure that Riku was stronger than he was years ago. He looked more buff, and he must have been, since his life would always involve fighting. He wielded a Keyblade, after all.

Riku helped pull Lightning to her feet, and once she was standing, he only kept hold of her hand. He squeezed it gently before starting forward, bringing her with him. It was time he got cleaned up.

Light walked in silence next to Riku for maybe half a minute, but then she decided she was going to be softer than she already was. She slipped her hand out of Riku's and walked closer to him, an arm wrapping around his lower back as she leaned into him a little bit. She missed him and the strength she had because of him. He gave her a reason to fight.

Riku glanced down at Lightning, at the same time wrapping his arm around her slender shoulders. He smiled slightly before focusing forward, climbing up the stairs with her before turning for the hall. Both of them were quiet enough that no one would hear them coming, which was good. Everyone deserved their rest.

Light gently leaned her head against Riku's shoulder, feeling his strong arm around her. She found herself wishing that he could have been with her that day in Gran Pulse. Or all those days, really. That was what she wanted most at that time other than for there to be peace. She used to be a lone wolf, but not anymore. This lone wolf found her mate.

Riku squeezed Lightning gently before he approached his room. He lifted his free hand to open the door, gently taking his arm back from around Lightning's shoulders so she could go inside. He would follow, grab a comfortable set of clothes, and then shower quickly so he could get back to Lightning.

Light followed Riku's cue and walked inside, seeing the room as she left it. She automatically went to the bed and sat down, ready to go back asleep. And she was pretty sure that Riku would stay with her and sleep in the same bed as her, since they were on good terms now.

Riku flipped the light on, seeing that his room was clean except for the bed not being made. Of course, he didn't doubt it, since Lightning was in it earlier. He glanced at her as he passed her, heading for the dresser. It was there that he grabbed some fresh clothes to change into. "Gimme a few," he requested gently, looking over at the woman he loved. He would be back.

Lightning nodded softly in understanding, seeing that Riku was going to at least get changed. He'd probably get a shower, too, or so she guessed. "Okay," she said quietly. She would lay down a while, since she was suddenly feeling more drowsy again.

Riku turned, approaching the bathroom attached to his room. After shutting the door behind him, he started the shower and started to get cleaned up. It may have been the middle of the night, but it didn't really matter to him. Lightning didn't seem to care either, which was good. As long as they were together, he was happy.

Light laid down in the bed, pulling up the sheets to her upper torso as she curled up on her side and shut her eyes. She heard the shower on in the bathroom, and she didn't know how long Riku would take, so she gave herself permission to fall asleep. She started dozing off, hoping to rest the remainder of the night without any bad dreams.

It didn't take long for Riku to shower and brush his teeth, the young man running the towel over his hair again before he left the bathroom. He was dressed just in lounge pants for the night, and once he walked into his room, he noticed the woman he loved on the bed. And she looked like she was asleep. Riku smiled to himself, softly shaking his head. Lightning...

Lightning thought she heard Riku enter the room faintly, also briefly sensing the light from the bathroom pouring into the bedroom. Her back was to the room, though, and she was hardly conscious, so that made it harder for her to sense what was going on in her surroundings. But she wasn't on guard, either. She felt safe with Riku.

Riku silently flipped off the light in the room and approached the bed. He crawled in behind Lightning carefully as to not wake her, also pulling the covers up to his waist. He then wrapped his arm over Lightning's side and buried his face in the back of her hair. It was time to sleep.

Light felt Riku's face in her hair, his body heat also waking her up enough for her to realize he was now in bed with her. She kept her eyes shut and lifted one of her arms, setting it on top of his as she murmured something to him. "I love you."

Still? Riku was surprised at the thought, and it actually disturbed him that he created it. But it was hard to fight it off after all the grief he caused her. "...I love you too, baby," he said, feeling it come from the heart. He knew that he would always mean that.

Light hummed at the comment, feeling herself become less tense both because of the pet name and because of the whole sentence Riku spoke. She figured that he loved her based on all of his actions, but she still liked hearing the words. Those words were all she needed to keep going.

Riku sighed tiredly into Lightning's hair, his form relaxing once it was done. Tomorrow would be a big day for him, and for her too, if she had something happening. If not, maybe she could come with him to get the watch materials. Either way, Riku needed the sleep. See you in the morning.

Light heard Riku's sigh, feeling the breath also move her hair. But she was already pretty tired, so she fell asleep within a minute or two of Riku coming to bed and holding her. She didn't know what tomorrow held, but she knew it couldn't have been as bad as the last few days had been. But she would stand tall and face it, and hopefully Riku would be by her side doing the same.
