Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku felt himself dozing off after a few minutes, and before that happened, he secured his hold around Lightning, his hand lightly resting on her stomach. It was then that he finally allowed himself to give into unconsciousness. He fell asleep, resting peacefully beside the person he loved most in the world.

The next morning

Terrian stood alone in the training room in the middle of the morning, looking at the door that was open. This was the time that he always trained with Master Riku, though he wondered if the man would show up today. Yesterday, he had been civil and told him about his past...and the watch. His sincerity was what kept Terrian around, even after the witch haunted his dreams last night. She promised him power to save his family, but he didn't go with her. He wanted to remain here and be Riku's student again...if he would let him.

Always being up at dawn, Riku woke up earlier than Lightning this morning. After dressing and giving her a quick kiss on the head, he left his room and started toward the training room. It was a daily routine, to meet Terrian here every morning. But would he show up today? Riku approached the door that was already open, stepping inside the training room and seeing his ex-apprentice in the middle of the room.

Terrian blinked when Riku suddenly stepped inside, the teen half-surprised. The other half was relieved. He...He knew that Riku didn't hate him, but he had been afraid Riku would give him space after their fighting yesterday. Space wasn't what he wanted; what he wanted was for things to go back the way they were...and for his Master to be happy. He wouldn't bother Lightning again. Now he just had to find a way to convey all that to Riku. And he would, in just a minute. As soon as he found his voice.
Riku walked a few steps inside, a few yards separating him from Terrian. He lifted an eyebrow, tilting his head slightly as he gave the teen a look. "You look surprised to see me," he concluded coolly, his usual calm and collected demeanor present.

Terrian nodded slightly, his hands remaining in his pockets as his gaze stayed on Riku. "I am," he said quietly, his voice calm despite how his heart was beating faster than normal. He knew what he had to say; he just didn't know how Riku would take it. He hoped he would take it well. It wasn't going to be some elaborate speech, but it would convey everything that needed to be covered. He just hoped it set things right.
Riku lifted his arms, crossing them over his broad chest. He kept his gaze on Terrian, silently prodding him to elaborate. True, Riku was no longer his mentor and Terrian wasn't the mentee. But if that were true, why was he here?

Terrian felt nervous, so he decided that it was best just to get this over with. "Um..." he started softly. C'mon, just say it. What can go wrong? He glanced at the ground briefly but then looked up to the Master, his hands coming out of his pockets. "...I'm ready to train, Master," he said quietly, dipping his head slightly in a sign of respect to the Keyblade Master as his gaze went to the ground again. Will you take me back?
Riku blinked, his eyebrows lifting in surprise. Master? he repeated to himself. He's willing to train under me again? Riku didn't say anything at first, but after a minute he understood. Terrian made a decision regarding following in Riku's footsteps, and the Master accepted. He smirked, lowering his arms. "Summon your Keyblade," he instructed then, holding out his arm to call to his own weapon. It appeared in his grasp, ready to be used.

Terrian looked up at the words, and he smiled. Riku's actions answered the question that he had in his head. The Master would take him back. He flexed his hand and his black Keyblade appeared in his grasp, his green eyes locked on his Master. ...Thank you.
Riku got into his stance, and his smirk only remained. "We'll start with the basics," he said lowly. They hadn't trained in a couple days, so he figured they would progress. "Go." He was ready.

A little while later, Light walked down the hallway towards the training room. She was just walking around after grabbing breakfast, which was just cereal. Apparently today everyone just grabbed their own breakfast, since they all slept in late. Well, most of them. Riku was up pretty early, or so she assumed. She stopped in the doorway of a room and looked in, seeing Riku training his apprentice. And that sight made her happy, since she knew how bad things were between the two yesterday.
Riku lifted his blade, blocking one of Terrian's attacks before jumping back. "Remember what I said," he instructed. "Never give your enemy the chance to retreat. Now c'mon!" Use your speed, Terrian.

Lightning leaned a shoulder against the doorway, seeing that Terrian's head was in the training as he followed Riku's instruction. This wasn't the first time she saw Terrian fight, though this was the first time it was against Riku. She watched the scene with pale blue eyes and observed the moves, ones that Riku obviously passed onto Terrian. He has Riku's strengths, but he also has his weaknesses.
Riku battled Terrian for another few minutes, and that was long enough for him to take things to the next level, where they originally left off. "Get ready!" he cried, lifting his left hand and releasing a Dark Aura spell at his successor. He needed to learn how to fight off Darkness.

Terrian's eyes widened at the unfamiliar attack, and he jumped over to the side to avoid the Dark energy. He didn't notice that Lightning was further in the room now, and she took a small step back to avoid one of the balls. But Riku probably would, since he was so protective of Lightning.
Riku saw the spell fly past Terrian and nearly hit the person he loved. He lowered his arm, panting slightly from moving around so much as his eyebrows furrowed. "Light?" he said in surprise. What was she doing in here, and what the heck was she doing in the line of fire?!

Light arched a brow at Riku's tone, seeing Terrian look over at her out of the corner of her eye. "What? I'm on the sidelines." Riku's aim was just off, so he was either rusty or he wasn't actually trying to hit Terrian. Neither was a good thing, because Terrian wasn't going to learn anything if Riku babied him.
Riku put his fist to his hip, tilting his head and shaking it briefly. "Not really," he disagreed lowly. He aimed for Terrian, and he successfully dodged it. His aim hadn't been off.

Lightning's arched brow remained, and she wordlessly pointed down at the line that was painted on the ground. She was about a foot away from it after stepping away, so she had clearly been standing outside the fighting area. "Looks like you're getting rusty," she said jokingly, though she didn't smile. Riku not being on the top of his game wasn't a good thing.
Riku sighed, lowering his head and closing his eyes. "Yeah. Right," he agreed, though unwillingly. Maybe he was, but he had a lot going on. He tried to focus, but even Masters had their days.

Light looked back to Riku, glancing at Terrian before she looked back to the Keyblade Master. "Looks like you could use a break, old man," she said in good nature. He wasn't older than her before, but he certainly was now. And not just by a few months; years separated them. It was odd.
Riku smirked slightly, then lifting his head. "Old man, huh? Clever," he said, playing along. She was obviously in a good mood. "So while I take five, what do you suggest my apprentice does?" Did Light have an answer for that too?
  • Author
Light had an answer for that question, though she didn't bother verbalizing it at first. She was dressed in her normal clothes, and so she had her weapon on her. She wordlessly pulled it out of the case and let it unfold by her side, the young woman staring at Riku. "I'll take him." She trained soldiers in the past; she could train a Keyblade wielder too.
Riku's smirk only remained, the young man looking to Terrian. "You up for it?" he asked. As long as Terrian was okay with it, so was he. As long as Lightning didn't show him up as a Master, though. That would be embarrassing.
