Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning stood back, giving Riku the space that he needed to look through the books. She would have assumed he kept such an important book somewhere special and safe, but maybe it was safest where it blended in the best. Sometimes, the obvious places were the safest places.
"...Wait a second," Riku muttered, moving to the other side and frantically searching the book titles for the one he was looking for. When he didn't find it, he panicked. "No...no, no, no..." He started pulling the books off the shelf, hearing them hit the floor with dull thumps. It had to be here. He left it here last night!

Lightning shifted uneasily on her feet, taking a small step closer to her beloved. "Riku...?" she said in worry, continuing to watch his actions. This wasn't quite encouraging. They needed that book to be able to make a watch, and if he couldn't find it, then they were doomed.
Riku cursed under his breath, staring at the nearly-empty shelves before glancing at the books on the floor. None of them were the worn and tattered book he found so long ago. "...It's gone," he said in disbelief. Somebody took it. He didn't know who, but he would find out soon enough. He wasn't about to let this slide.

"What?" Lightning hissed, eyes wide as she looked at all the books on the ground. That couldn't have been possible! Riku just used the book last night, didn't he? At least to see what materials he needed to look for? Maybe he just misplaced it...But she knew that wouldn't happen. Riku would have been careful with such an important book.
Riku raked his fingers through his hair, releasing a heavy breath in frustration. "I put it right here last night," he told Lightning lowly. "Right before I took off." There was no way this could have happened. He took special care of that book ever since he found it, so there was no way he could have misplaced it!

"...What does this mean?" Light murmured softly, looking away. Did that mean that somebody sneaked in to this room and stole it last night while she was sleeping? Who would have even known Riku had the book other than the people that lived here? She couldn't see anybody stealing it...
Riku didn't know what to say, lowering his head as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Think, Riku. Think! Who could have possibly taken it without telling him? He knew that no one in the castle would go as far as to steal it, and nobody was even concerned with creating another watch but him! Who else knew that he went back in time, other than his friends?

Terrian is the only person who could possibly take the book, but he wouldn't... Lightning thought. She saw him earlier that day with Riku, and he was sincerely glad Riku was his Master again. It was something that she could plainly see. Since she was so good at wearing masks, she could see through other people's. Terrian wasn't wearing a mask. So...who else would take the book?
Riku opened his eyes when he thought of her, the one person he despised most in all of the worlds. She was here the other night, and she tried to sway Terrian towards the Darkness. She knew he went back in time! "...That witch," he hissed, his hands forming fists at his sides. She took it. That had to be it.

Light blinked, both at Riku's tone and his words. Witch? She looked down at the ground, trying to figure it out. It didn't take long, though, because Maleficent's image flashed through her mind. "Of course," she murmured. Maleficent was the only person who would steal the book. She had no idea why, but they would find out. They needed to recover that book.
"She slipped right by us," Riku growled in anger, unable to believe this. How could that have happened? Didn't at least one person sense the Darkness last night? He couldn't imagine that no one noticed.

"Then let's slip right by her and get it back," Light said lowly, her hands curling into fists as she looked back to Riku. They wouldn't let Maleficent keep the book; that was dangerous, considering what could happen if Maleficent made a watch and went back in time. Was that what she wanted? To go back and defeat her enemies?
Riku turned around to face Lightning, nodding once his eyes found her. "Right," he said. They would leave right away. Because Maleficent took the book, time was no longer on their side.

Light nodded faintly, glancing over at the side in thought. They didn't even know where Maleficent was, so it was probably best they split into groups. And obviously not everyone could go, because there were children that couldn't be left alone. She remembered a long time ago almost everyone went to fight Maleficent, but she arrived and attacked her and Riku when they were weak. They couldn't leave anybody vulnerable.
Once Riku and Lightning figured out the culprit, they talked to the others in a group meeting. It was decided that Riku and Lightning would go to Maleficent's location, with Terrian, Skylar, and Hallie accompanying them. Kairi and Sora gave wise words to their apprentices before they left, and he did the same with Terrian. This would be their first dangerous encounter outside of the Land of Departure. Riku knew that they would have to take this seriously, starting now; they were approaching the abandoned castle in Radiant Garden. He wasn't so sure it was abandoned anymore.

Terrian was walking behind Riku and Lightning, Hallie on his one side as they entered the old castle. He was quiet and serious, knowing who they were after. It was that witch...the one who tried to lead him astray more times than one. And all in one day. He wouldn't let her get away with taking the book that could lead to the saving of his parents. He would fight his hardest.
Skylar was already prepared for the worst. Master Sora told him to keep his Light burning strong, because Maleficent's Darkness was one of the worst out there. He would do his best, for his Master and for his friends. He walked on the other side of Hallie, looking up at the castle before them as Master Riku and Lightning led the way. Whatever awaited them, he was ready to face it.

Light glanced around the area, stepping over some debris as they made their way to one of the larger rooms. This was just where her feet were leading her, and Riku wasn't trying to change the direction, so he must have sensed Maleficent in that room too. It was the room where they fought her as a dragon so long ago, and Light sold her life to Maleficent to save Riku. That was so long ago...
Riku took a few more steps toward the room, and as he walked, he balled his hands into fists. "Get ready, you guys," he told the three behind him and Lightning lowly. "She's close." He could smell her, which made him want to grunt in disgust. He fought the urge, knowing he had to focus. Lightning needed to go back home, and possibly so did Terrian. He wasn't about to let Maleficent rob them of the opportunity.

"Alright," Hallie said softly, tightening her grip on the weapon in her hand. She was intimidated by the fact that they were facing someone so dark, but she knew she had to keep her Light burning strong. If she didn't, then she wouldn't be strong enough to help her friends.
Riku called his weapon to his hand, already aware that Skylar had his in his grasp as well. "You ready for this?" he said softly to the woman beside him. This would be a fight to the death, and he wasn't willing to lose her again.
  • Author
"Yeah," Light said softly, setting a hand on the hilt of her weapon as it remained in her case. "I'm ready." She vowed to do whatever was necessary to get the book back so they could go back in time and save her family. All of her hope rested in that book.
Riku nodded a little as they finally walked into the room. The place was still covered with thorns after all this time, and he knew it was because this was where Maleficent permanently resided. They all walked a few yards in before Riku held his arm out for them to halt. He looked around, not seeing any sign of Maleficent in the room, though he did smell her. "Maleficent, come out!" he hollered, his voice echoing in the large room.

Terrian gripped his Keyblade tightly, turning so his back was to the rest of the group as he gazed around the room. He didn't see Maleficent here, nor did he sense her Darkness. He had never learned to sense it, since Riku kept him sheltered from such things. He was starting to wonder if that was a good thing or not.
