A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"You must learn to have some patience, young man," Maleficent called. Her voice echoed off the round walls of the room, and she sensed multiple heads turn at the sound of her voice. She called to her magic and appeared in the middle of the room amidst a flurry of green flames. "Yelling will only get you into trouble."

 

Riku heard Skylar grunt from behind him, but he only tightened his grasp on his Keyblade. He wasn't about to humor the witch with a few choice words. "Where's the book?" he demanded. They needed that book to set things right.

 

"Oh? You finally noticed it was taken?" Maleficent lifted an eyebrow. "You are quite unobservant around the lady, Riku. You were too busy wooing her to pay attention to your precious novel. How sad."

Light held back a growl, her sword still in its case as she glared at Maleficent. "What could you possibly want with the book?" she asked lowly. "Don't you already have enough power?" She assumed Maleficent would think that way, since the witch was so cocky about being the "Mistress of All Evil", and conquering all of them, even if she failed in the past.

Maleficent smiled darkly. "There is no such thing as 'enough power', my dear," she said, keeping a casual hold on her cane. "As for the book... Well, it could make certain events in my past more fortunate for my own tastes." Her smile only grew, looking over the two people in the front. Either of their lives could change as soon as she made the special device.

Light grunted, pulling out her sword and pointing at Maleficent in one swift movement. It was in gun mode right now, but she could change it at any time that she wanted to. She just wanted to get this fight over with and take back the book, before Maleficent had her way with it.

"It looks to me like that's not gonna happen!" Skylar called, getting into his stance when he saw Lightning do something similar. He wasn't about to let this witch talk about his friends the way she did. She was trying to manipulate their lives, which would affect his in return.

 

Maleficent peered around Riku, looking at the brat that just spoke. "You remind me of that annoying Sora when he was your age, sticking his nose in places it doesn't need to be," she growled. She saw the boy grow angrier at that, and she knew instantly that he must have had a connection with the Keyblader. "No matter. You will all fall soon enough, and I will get my way with the book, and most certainly one of you two." She motioned her staff toward Riku and Lightning, the former getting into his stance as well. She wasn't intimidated, however. She had faith in her own powers.

Terrian tightened his grip on his Keyblade and stepped forward so he was beside Lightning while Hallie also moved to stand along the front line. He glared at her and got into his stance, his bright green eyes locked on the witch. She would pay for all the trouble she was causing, and she would pay for haunting his dreams last night.

Riku smirked darkly, feeling his hatred surfacing. "Seems to me like the 'Mistress of All Evil' is about to fall herself," he mocked. He saw Maleficent scoff, and he knew she wasn't pleased. Not that he cared. He just wanted her to die, for good.

 

Maleficent shook her head at Riku, though she then looked to his apprentice. "Do not follow in your Master's footsteps, boy. You will only meet your own demise," she told him. Riku was going to fall to her today, she would make sure of that.

"Shut up." That was the only response Terrian could think of, not that it was too clever or witty. He was going to follow his Master, because his Master was wise and strong. He hoped he could gain that same strength under his training, and he hoped today to use what strength he had to defeat Maleficent.

"'Shut up'?" Maleficent repeated, lifting an eyebow. But then she smiled menacingly, holding out her free hand. "But don't you want to beg for your family's life while this is in my hands?" In a puff of smoke the book on time travel appeared in her grasp. "And you," she said, directing her attention to Lightning. "Don't you want to save your family as well? Such unwise decisions are made by the young. How unfortunate that you all must use violence to get what you want. But, of course, a witch can play that game too, and twice as well if I do say so myself."

 

Skylar's eyebrows furrowed, the boy standing beside Master Riku. What was that supposed to mean?

"We're not here to play any of your games!" Lightning cried, keeping her weapon pointed at the witch who held onto the book that would govern her destiny. "We're here to take back what's ours. And end you, for good this time." She didn't know how she was alive, but Maleficent wouldn't be alive much longer. She and the Keybladers with her would end her life.

"Very well then," Maleficent said. "I guess I shall free my hands for the fight that will surely ensue." She smirked at the group before her, using her magic to put the book in her grasp up in flames.

 

"No!" Riku cried instantly, taking a small step forward. The book! She was destroying it!

Lightning grunted, eyes widening at the flames. "H-hey! Stop that!" She shifted her sword into a blade and charged forward, taking a swing at Maleficent as soon as she was close. She couldn't burn the book all the way through; they needed that! She needed it!

Skylar saw Lightning head in for an attack, and he also heard Maleficent start laughing. She put up a shield to deflect Lightning's blow, which shocked the boy. The book!

Light's sword bounced off the shield, and the force behind her own swing made her stumble back a few steps. She grunted roughly and gripped the hilt with both hands as she glared at Maleficent, seeing the book vanish in the flames. And something else vanished along with the book; her hope. Now I really can't save them...This time, it's over.

Riku growled under his breath, taking another step forward as he tightly gripped his weapon. "You witch!" he hissed darkly. She toyed with them!

 

Maleficent only laughed once more. "Ah, you're far too kind, dearest Riku," she said in response. She caught him snarl at her before pulling his free arm back. Her eyes widened at the blue fireball coming toward her, and she lifted her staff to deflect the blow. Try as they might, they wouldn't defeat her.

Lightning ran the short distance between her and Maleficent and swung at the witch, also giving orders to whoever was listening. "Kill her. Now!" she growled. She didn't care if anybody took that to mean "kill her this instant" or whatever; she just knew that all of them needed to fight. Even if the larger purpose for the fight was lost.

Skylar nodded once in understanding, spinning his Keyblade before firing off a Blizzard spell. "Freeze!" he cried, also seeing Master Riku run in at the same time to deal physical attacks to Maleficent. He already knew that this was going to be one of the hardest battles he fought up to this point in his life, and his instincts were taking over, just like Master Sora said they would. He wasn't about to let his Master, or his friends, down.

Maleficent was the biggest villain that Terrian ever fought, no doubt about it. Before, he had only fought Heartless, not evil people or witches. Or dragons. Later in the battle, Maleficent transformed into a large, fire-breathing dragon. She was much more intimidating in this form, not that she wasn't a bit frightening before. But he wasn't afraid of her, not while he was fighting alongside friends and his Master.

Riku wasn't worn out just yet, though this battle was a long one. Maleficent wasn't going down without a fight, but the same could be said for him, Lightning, and the apprentices; Maleficent may have destroyed the book, but she was only feeding the fire that fueled their anger. Riku saw Maleficent pull her neck back and take in a breath, and he knew what was coming next: fire, and lots of it. Time for some barriers, the Master realized. He hadn't used his barrier spells in a long time, but he knew this would call for it. I've got five seconds.

Light jumped back to avoid Maleficent's tail, the young woman then looking up to the dragon's head and seeing its actions. She grunted when she realized what was coming, and she knew from experience that this fire didn't just do outward damage. It also weakened those who were vulnerable to Darkness. And unfortunately, she fit into that category. She switched to a defensive Paradigm and braced herself, knowing this was going to be unpleasant.

"Get back!" Riku ordered, seeing Skylar immediately follow the order and jump away from Maleficent. Riku twirled his Keyblade before a white light left it, spreading out in front of him and his comrades. It formed a wall that stood just in front of Maleficent, and blocked the green flames she sent their way. Riku grunted, his shield absorbing the blows, though it took some of his strength.

Lightning noticed Riku's shield absorb the magic, so the only Darkness that was around them was the Darkness that had been there all along. She changed Paradigms and charged at Maleficent again, seeing Terrian do the same while Hallie used magic attacks from a distance. This was going well, but Maleficent was still very dangerous and strong. She could still do serious damage, especially if she paralyzed any of them like she had done in the past.

Skylar follow Hallie's lead, calling to a Thunder spell as he stayed behind Master Riku's shield. We have to have each other's backs here, he realized, knowing that one of the things Master Sora taught him most was to defend not only himself but others as well. This fight was still proving to be tough, but they could conquer the witch as long as they stuck together.

Light slipped past the wall, jumping onto Maleficent's back. Terrian was still on the ground closer to the dragon when Lightning shifted her weapon into a gun and shot bullets at the back of Maleficent's neck. She was vulnerable there, so she hoped that the damage was enough to weaken the witch some.

A large roar left Maleficent, and Riku kept up his shield a little longer before releasing it. He then threw his Keyblade at her, striking her in the face. She grew even angrier at the attacks dealt to her, however. She reared back on her hind legs, and Riku furrowed his eyebrows. He knew what was coming, and he hoped the others recognized it as well.
