Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"I love you too," Riku replied. And I love hearing you say that. He always regretted never proposing to her when he had the chance. But she would have...left him, anyway. They would have never had the chance to enjoy their lives together. It was a sad thought, but it was the truth.

Light felt a smile tug at her lips, but she was too tired to keep that smile on her face. She nuzzled her face closer to Riku's, her forehead against his chin. There was one more thing that she wanted to say before she passed out, and that was... "Thank you," she whispered into the silence. She was thanking him for being with her now, for having the willingness to have Namine go through his memories, and for being himself. This was much better than what they were like when he first saved her.
"Mm," Riku hummed softly, that translating into "you're welcome". He couldn't imagine just sitting around and watching Lightning suffer. He was a jerk in the beginning of all of this, and the thought of her tears made him pull her a little closer. He couldn't ever do that to her again. It was heartbreaking...

Lightning felt Riku pull her closer, and she wasn't about to complain. She exhaled a soft breath and kept an arm over Riku, hearing her own breathing along with his. She was ready to pass out now; she couldn't think of anything to say, nor could she find the energy to stay awake. She needed to rest.
Roxas stared at the fire he had going in his and Namine's suite in the west wing. She had been gone all day; the only time he'd seen her was when he brought her lunch. The rest of the time he'd been busy taking care of Aiden. Their son was in the bedroom now, sleeping soundly. It seemed like his fussy phase had passed, thank goodness. Roxas and Namine really needed to catch up on their sleep.

Namine walked through the hall, feeling her feet drag as she approached the suite she and Roxas lived in. She turned the corner and blinked when she saw the fire, and the person who was sitting there watching it. "I told you not to stay up," she murmured softly to her husband, shaking her head faintly as she approached him.
Roxas glanced over his shoulder slightly, seeing his wife coming into their suite as he sat on the sofa. "I couldn't sleep," he admitted with a weak smile. He wanted to be awake when she came back, and he wanted to fall asleep beside her. It was just one of those nights.

"Mm," Namine hummed softly, walking around the couch to stand by Roxas's side. She figured that he just couldn't sleep because she wasn't there, but she supposed she was better late than never. She was afraid it would take longer to reach Riku's memories. She would have needed a lot more coffee if that was the case.
Roxas lifted his arm that was resting on the side of the couch, lightly touching Namine's wrist. "You look exhausted," he said, his smile fading. He never liked to see her in such a state, even if it could be harmless. But Namine couldn't take breaks from the memory-reading process. She had no choice.

Namine smiled weakly, feeling Roxas grab her wrist as she looked to the fire. "So I've heard," she murmured. Riku had already said that she looked exhausted, and that was probably because she was. She wanted to collapse, even if she was very hungry. She hadn't eaten since lunch.
"Well why don't you go to bed?" Roxas suggested gently. "I'll put the fire out and be there in a minute." He would help lull his wife to sleep, not that it would take very much. She looked incredibly tired. He assumed she would be out as soon as her head hit the pillow.

"I should probably eat first, but..." Namine's mumbling trailed off, the blonde shaking her head faintly. If she didn't collapse from exhaustion, then she would collapse from hunger. She should have thought to grab something from the kitchen really quickly when she was downstairs, but she had been too tired to think about it.
"Go to bed," Roxas said, squeezing Namine's wrist gently. "I'll go grab you something, okay?" It was the least he could do. She was too tired to probably even move; he wouldn't make her go all the way downstairs again.

Namine shook her head softly, looking down at her husband. "If I go to bed, I'll be out before you leave the room," she mumbled. So she needed to try to stay awake somehow if she was going to eat something. And she couldn't ask Roxas to get food for her...
Roxas smiled slightly, coming up with an idea. "Okay, I'll take you to the kitchen myself," he said, releasing her wrist and pushing himself up from the couch. She wouldn't have to walk, though; Roxas would carry Namine...on his back.

Namine immediately caught onto Roxas's drift, and a small smile appeared on her face. "You're kidding..." she murmured, not making it a question. Roxas couldn't seriously be saying he was going to carry her down to the kitchen, right? She really couldn't make him do that...
"When do I ever kid about giving you a lift?" Roxas said, pulling at the hem of his beater before rounding the couch. He stood in front of his wife and bent down. "C'mon," he said over his shoulder. "It'll be just like old times." The last time he did this... It had been a long time. Was it their honeymoon? He didn't even really remember.

"Hmph," Namine hummed with the same smile she was already wearing, the young woman shaking her head slightly in disbelief. But she got onto Roxas's back like he requested, her arms wrapping around the front of his torso. She couldn't remember the last time he held her like this; it had been a very long time.
Once Roxas had a hold on Namine's legs, he started out of the suite. Aiden was out cold, so he would be fine until they got back; Roxas knew his son, after all. Considering Namine was so tired anyway, he doubted this would take very long. He started down the hall of the west wing, carrying his wife on his back. He felt like a teenager again.

Namine turned her head so her face was in Roxas's neck, and she felt some of the spikes on his head tickle her face. But she was used to that by now, because she liked nuzzling against his soft blond hair. She wasn't doing that right now, though. Instead, she was already dozing off on his back. She could sleep anywhere, even on his back. So she still didn't know if she'd be awake by the time they got food.
Roxas started down the steps, being careful so he didn't trip and hurt both himself and Namine in the process. He reached the first floor after a moment, so he turned and started for the kitchen. There were some leftovers from dinner, which Namine just so happened to miss. He would heat up something for her.

Roxas going down the stairs was enough to keep Namine slightly awake, even if he was careful with his steps. But after he started walking on even ground, she felt herself lose consciousness because of exhaustion. She just couldn't keep herself awake, even if she was hungry and not in bed yet.
Roxas approached the kitchen, unaware that his wife was asleep on his back. The door was already open, fortunately, so he just walked inside. "What would you like to eat, honey?" he asked, stopping in the middle of the room. When he didn't get a respond, he turned his head to look at her. "Namine?"

Namine's head moved ever so slightly because of Roxas's movement, not because she was waking up. She was unconscious already, so Roxas's voice didn't reach her even if he wasn't speaking in a soft whisper. She was out of it, very drained.
Roxas once again didn't get a response, and he smiled to himself. "Should've known," he said, lightly shaking his head as he turned around, staring the way he came. It was time he put his wife to bed.
