Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning summoned a shield around herself immediately, grunting along with a few other people because of the force behind the attacks that were sent back at them. But it was distributed among them, so it was okay. Her one foot slid back slightly, but she didn't let the attack hit her.
Once the pressure was off of him, Riku stood up straight. He saw the attacks come back at their creators, but his friends were strong enough to deflect the attacks. He breathed heavily, his eyebrows furrowed deeply over his eyes. That was tough, but...he did it. He really did it.

Sora felt the attack dissipate after a few seconds, the magic disappearing and the pressure lifting off him and all his friends. He exhaled a soft breath and stood upright, looking at the man who just reflected that powerful attack. "Way to go!" he said to Riku with a wide smile. You did it!
Kairi couldn't help but smile, at the words that left Sora's mouth and what just happened. "Riku, you did it!" she squealed. He really did it! He deflected the spells! His barriers were strong enough now.

"Good job!" Terrian said with a wide smile, proud of his Master. He was so strong! Terrian could only hope that one day, he could be as strong as he was. He wasn't going to the past to save anybody, but there was no telling when he'd have to save his friends in the future. Seeing this assured him that he made the right move, trusting his Master with making him stronger.
Riku let his weapon disappear, a proud and satisfied smirk appearing on his face. He nodded to his friends, hearing their praise and seeing their smiles. He really did do it... It was difficult, but if he could handle that, he could handle the Maker. Right?

Light's lips turned up slightly at Riku's satisfied and proud smirk, the young woman having forgotten what the expression looked like since she hadn't seen it for long. Riku was much stronger now than he was a week ago, but that didn't mean she wasn't nervous still. What if this wasn't good enough?
Riku's eyes darted over all of his friends, lingering on his beloved last. She was smiling, even a little bit, but it was enough. Did he make her proud? He sure hoped so; this was a big deal to her, that he could handle such a strong attack. "...Should we try again?" he asked, looking over his friends. He wanted to make sure he could really handle this. One more time couldn't be any different.

"You sure you can handle two attacks like that in a row?" Sora asked with an arched brow, his smile fading away in seriousness. He saw how Riku struggled to launch that attack back at them, so he wasn't sure if his friend could do the same thing again right after that. But...if it helped make him stronger, then Sora would launch his attack again.
Riku nodded, not willing to stand down. His smirk faded as he held out his hand. His Keyblade appeared again, and he gripped it tightly. "Again." He wanted to do this a second time. He would do it until he couldn't anymore.

Sora looked down the line of people, seeing that all of them still held onto their weapons. "Alright," the brunet said with a small nod, spinning his Keyblade in his grasp as he charged up the same magic attack that he used before. Ragnarok, he thought, grunting as he pointed his Keyblade at Riku and unleashed the beams at him as several other attacks also flew in.
Riku saw the attacks coming in, and he put up another barrier. He was once again forced back, his feet sliding ever so slightly along the hard floor. But he held his ground. He had to help defeat the Maker...

Light watched Riku through eyes that were slightly wider than usual, seeing his feet slide again. Are you going to be able to hold it back this time? she thought in worry. She knew that each time he used a shield, it took some of his strength. What if he wasn't strong enough this time? What if he got hurt?
Riku grunted roughly, fighting off the magic that was forced upon him. C'mon. Do it again! If he couldn't...how would he face the Maker? True, every barrier he made took some of his strength away from him, but that was normal. But going up against the Maker was another story. But I have to... I have to be strong enough.

Light took a small step forward in worry, her lips parted slightly because of the same emotion. Riku... He was struggling, like he had been the first time. He still wasn't strong enough to take this abuse without too much trouble. He wasn't ready to face the Maker.

Kairi watched as the spells impacted Riku's barrier, but was it really strong enough to deflect them a second time? "...Riku," she said in worry, her eyes holding the same emotion. He wasn't doing as well as he was the first time. He was going to get hurt.

Riku felt his feet slide again, and he fought it, trying to push against the spells. He wouldn't give up that easily. He had to get stronger!

"Don't try reflecting it, Riku! Absorb it!" Sora cried. He knew that reflecting the energy was much harder than just blocking it. If Riku couldn't send the attack back at them, then he needed to give up on the idea and just protect himself. He wasn't strong enough right now, as Sora had feared. But he was still strong enough to keep himself from getting hurt.
Riku squeezed his eyes shut at the words, but he knew it was true. If he didn't just absorb the attack, it would hit him and injure him...badly. He couldn't come out of this unscathed, not when there were more than five spells on him at once. He ground his teeth together in aggravation, feeling his feet slide again. Fine, he thought stubbornly. He changed gears, no longer trying to deflect the spells; instead, he let his shield absorb them. Riku winced slightly, some of the spells still getting to him, though barely. The bright light from the attack disappeared, as did his shield.

Sora saw the attacks disappear, and he waited a second or two before he spoke again. "All good?" Sora asked, referring to his friend's condition. It didn't seem like he was hit by anything too hard, thank goodness. That could have turned out terribly.
Riku didn't answer the question at first, instead cursing under his breath. He stared down at the ground in aggravation. Why couldn't he do it again?! He let his Keyblade disappear then, for good for the day. He wasn't wanting to fail again; he needed to gain more strength.

Light took another small step forward, but she stopped herself before she was any closer to Riku. He was obviously ticked, not that he had any real reason to be. He made great progress this week. Just not enough. ...As badly as she wanted to go back to her family, she knew that it wasn't a possibility today. She accepted it.
Riku lifted his hand, running it through his hair until he let it sit on top of his head. He looked up at Sora, finally answering his question. "Yeah... I'm fine," he answered. He wanted to make more progress than that, but he did do pretty well in just a week. Maybe a day or two more is all I need...

Sora hummed, nodding faintly as well. I guess we're done for the day, he thought, seeing that Riku's weapon was gone. That was probably a good idea, because they couldn't risk Riku getting seriously hurt. He was the one who had to save everyone's lives, after all. Without him, all hope was lost.
Riku sighed both in slight exhaustion and aggravation, his hand falling back down to his side. "Same time tomorrow?" he asked, looking to all of his friends. He saw a few of them nod in confirmation, and he accepted it. He hoped his friends would continue to help him. He really did need to be stronger.

Sora hummed and nodded again, catching other people give similar responses. They were up for it as long as Riku was. But if he wasn't in the shape to keep doing this, then they wouldn't. Time was on their side because of the watch, or so he thought. He wasn't thinking about how long Lightning could survive away from her family.
