Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Yeah," Lightning said with a small nod. At least he's not being unreasonable and rejecting this right away. She had been fearing that type of response, but Riku wasn't giving it to her at least right now. Only time would tell what his final decision was, though.
Riku nodded ever so slightly before lowering his head again, looking across the room. He didn't know what he could do now, except sleep. Or rest. Either way, he had to conserve his energy to practice with his barriers some more.

Light started wordlessly massaging Riku's shoulders again, her eyes on his silver hair when he lowered his head. She didn't have anything else to say right now. She wasn't going to pressure him into a decision, because that would only lead to him saying "no" in the end. And she couldn't have that.
At the thought of rest, Riku felt himself relaxing. Lightning rubbing his shoulders definitely helped make that easier. "...You're gonna make me fall asleep, you know," he said softly. He didn't want to go to bed just yet, especially after hearing what Lightning just said. But what could he do?

"Hmph," Light hummed softly, keeping up the gesture. "You're not going to make me carry you to bed, are you?" she asked softly with a faint hint of amusement in her voice. She did carry Riku before, but never in casual circumstances. There was always some kind of danger that caused her to hold him in her arms like that.
"No," Riku said with a faint smile. Like he would do that. He would never force Lightning into that situation; that was just stupid. If anything, he would carry her to bed. Besides, he loved having her in his arms.

"Right," Lightning said with some disbelief in her tone. If Riku wasn't going to make her carry him, then he needed to get a move on. As long as she kept this gesture up, he was sure to fall asleep pretty soon. He was worn out, after all.
Riku lifted his hands, setting them on top of Lightning's on his shoulders. "You have to learn to trust me," he said with the same small smile. He glanced back at her, love and exhaustion in his gaze. He meant what he said; he wouldn't make Lightning carry him. He would go up to his room himself.

Light shook her head faintly, feeling her bangs get in her eyes a little bit. "I do trust you, goof," she said softly, using the name because of how obvious it was that she trusted him. He was one of the only people she trusted with her life...and her heart. He was the only one who had a right to have that.
"After everything?" Riku asked, his smile remaining. "I'm flattered." He lifted one of her hands to his lips, kissing it gently before releasing them. Riku pushed himself up from the chair, deciding it was time he hit the hay. And he hoped Lightning would join him.

Light didn't bother responding to Riku's comment, not finding the words to. She did trust him, despite all the pain he put her through when he brought her here. It was always lingering in the back of her mind, but she tried not to think about it. She had to focus on doing her part to save her family, and help Riku along the way. She looked at him after that thought, seeing he was ready for bed.
Riku turned to face Lightning, offering out a hand. "Take a break for tonight?" he requested gently. If she had been sneaking out lately, he figured she would do it tonight as well. Every time he thought she was with him, she wasn't, and he wanted to change that tonight.

Light slipped her hand into Riku's, though she hesitated with answering his question. "Maybe," she said softly after a moment. That was the best she could promise him. If she was going to give him strength, then she had to have strength to give. She couldn't slack off.
Riku smiled ever so slightly, grasping Lightning's hand securely before he started out of the room. He would accept that answer; it was good enough, after all. At least she would be considering it.

Lightning walked beside Riku, and once they slipped out the doorway, she lifted a hand and set it on his arm. She ran her hand over his skin, feeling the developed muscles in his arm that were there because of him using the Keyblade and fighting. She did like seeing that he was strong; it made her feel better somehow.
Riku squeezed Lightning's hand when he felt her hand against his arm, the young man glancing down at her before he started up the steps. He at least wanted her with him for a little while; he needed her love. Even if he was never a sap, he had to admit that.

It didn't take long for the two of them to reach Riku's room, and when they did, Lightning glanced out the window and saw that it was dark. Apparently they had been training longer than they thought. That probably didn't help with Riku's exhaustion. She should have been watching the clock more closely.
Riku released Lightning's hand, instead using both of his to lift his shirt. He pulled it over his head, revealing his broad and bare chest. He was exhausted, so he couldn't wait to lie down. He tossed his shirt into the laundry bin in the corner of his room, not worrying about it for now; he'd clean up later. Right now, he just wanted to rest.

Light's eyes briefly danced over Riku's bare chest, but then she looked down and saw there was something else he had to do before he laid down. "Shoes," she reminded him, lifting her gaze to his face. He didn't want to sleep in sneakers all night, most likely. And if he did...that was weird.
"Says the woman who always sleeps in her boots," Riku commented, smirking at Lightning before he complied with her demand. He went over to the bed, sitting down on the edge and starting to pull his sneakers off. He was too tired to take anything else off, so he would just leave his jeans on.

Light arched a brow, setting a hand on her hip as she watched Riku. "I take them off when I remember to." She just...slept in so many situations where she couldn't afford to take them off. She could have been awoken at any time because of a threat, and she needed to be ready to move. Even if she would have been comfier without the boots, keeping them on was habit she couldn't break. Not in times like these.
"Yeah, okay," Riku said, going along with what she said though he didn't really believe it. More often than not, she slept with them on. He wasn't sure why, but Lightning was still someone he adored and cherished. She always would be.

Light sighed, knowing Riku didn't believe her. But she didn't offer him the truth. She walked over to the bed and sat down on the edge beside him, starting to take off her boots. Maybe she wouldn't sneak out of bed tonight, since she was taking off the boots. She was pretty tired, after all.
Riku turned his head, looking over at Lightning once his shoes were off. She was unbuckling her own boots, so did that mean she was staying? He lifted an eyebrow slightly, watching her. He wanted his girl with him, but he wouldn't beg; Riku would never do that. It wasn't in his agenda.

Lightning took off one boot and then set it on the ground by the bed, before she started on the other boot. When she was in the middle of one of the straps, she felt a gaze on her. She turned her head and looked over at Riku, arching a brow at his expression. What?
