Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

The next morning   Riku lingered in the living room as Lightning's guests talked on the sofas. It was the day after Sora and Kairi's wedding, and now that the event was over, everyone was heading ba

"...Yeah," Riku said, lifting a hand to rub his head. Did he really just remember some things about himself--things he didn't even do? It was odd, but this wasn't the time to think about it. "Where's Lightning?" He pushed himself to his hands and knees, looking at the chaos that surrounded them. This place was nothing but destruction.

Sora gave Riku a funny look. "How should I know?" he asked with an arched brow. "I haven't left since you lost consciousness." It had been ten to twenty minutes that he was out, or so Sora estimated. He wanted to know what happened, but they couldn't just sit here and talk. They had to find Lightning.
Riku heard loud cries from nearby, and he could only hope that they weren't Lightning's. He pushed himself up to his feet, though he didn't bother to summon his armor as he hurried over. He had to find her...before he lost her again.

Sora rose to his feet as well, his armor disappearing. It was easier to run around in just his usual clothes than the thick armor. He looked around the area, seeing a pile of rubble and debris to his right. Man, this place is a disaster.

Riku didn't get very far, stopping dead in his tracks as he looked around. This place was nothing but chaos and destruction, which only made him more afraid for Lightning's life. "Behind the rubble." The boy blinked at the words that suddenly entered his mind, though he did look to the side and see a small wall of rubble sitting there. His eyebrows furrowed and he ran forward, leaping over it and landing smoothly on his feet. Who he saw before him, however, made his knees weak. "Lightning?"

Hope turned his head to the side, knelt down next to Sazh when he heard the name. He looked up at the stranger, though he was somehow familiar. He knew Lightning, which meant Hope had to have known him as well. "...She's okay," he said upon seeing the guy's worried expression. "Just unconscious."

Sora grunted and followed after Riku, jumping over the rubble in time to see the four people that were gathered. Out of the four of them, only one of them was unconscious, though the others looked close to it because of their battle wounds. He furrowed his eyebrows and looked down at the crack that was several yards away, not knowing what almost just happened here. But at least Lightning and her friends were alive.
Riku didn't have to ask what happened, because he already knew; Lightning had been near death, just like her friends. But...he saved them? It was a confusing thing, and he would have to ponder it later. But right now, he needed to get Lightning and her friends out of here. "We need to leave," he said, glancing over his shoulder at Sora. But how would they get the others out of here? Riku couldn't create dark portals anymore.

Lightning came out of her stupor a little, just enough to sense that her Riku and Sora were here with her friends. And that she was in Snow's arms. We have to get out of here... she thought. She had an idea for how, and she just hoped she had enough strength to make it happen. And that Riku wouldn't scold her for using this ability. Her fingers twitched as she used her remaining strength to summon a dark portal that would take her family to safety.
Snow's head turned sharply to the side, the man taking a step back at the portal that appeared next to him. How did that get there? He glanced at everyone, his eyes lingering on Riku, who was staring at Lightning. Regardless, he decided to initiate their leave. "Might as well not waste any time, right?" he said, smiling at them briefly. "Let's go." He turned, carrying his sister-in-law in his arms as he disappeared through the portal, Hope helping up Sazh before following behind.

Sora saw Snow carry Lightning through the portal, and Sazh soon rose to his feet and walked through with Hope. That left Sora and Riku to go through. The brunet glanced around the chaotic world one more time before he looked back to Riku. He shrugged slightly, not because of the destruction, but because of the portal. He didn't know how it got there, but he'd take it. He walked through it, somehow knowing it would take him home.
Riku glanced around, seeing that parts of the world were on fire, others covered in destruction. Gunshots rang in his ears, and he frowned in disgust. Whoever did this was surely going to pay. He turned, walking through the portal, enveloped in darkness for only a few seconds before the warmth and salty air of his home world greeted him.

Serah was on the shores of Destiny Islands, the same place she had been ever since Lightning's portal brought her here. She looked over to the side and felt her eyes widen when she saw a group of six walk through the same type of portal that brought her here. And the people...they were such a relief to see. "Snow! Lightning!"
Snow couldn't help but smile at the sight of his wife, seeing that she was safe. They all were, thank goodness. He continued to walk forward with Lightning in his arms, already aware that they would have to get her somewhere to rest and recover. He was a little sore himself.

Sora looked over at Riku beside him, seeing the group start towards Serah as Dajh called out to his daddy. "What're we gonna do, Riku?" he asked softly. They had to help these people, even if it was just giving them a place to recover. He figured Lightning would stay with her boyfriend, but what about the rest of her family?
Riku stayed where he was, watching the others reunite. "...We'll have to let them stay in one of the vacant houses," he said. They had a few condos that were empty since people moved back into their homes. Perhaps they could work something out there...

"What about Lightning? Are you gonna keep her to yourself?" Sora asked quietly. He figured that he would, since he had been apart from her for almost a month. Sora could pull together the rest of their friends and try to arrange something, if Riku wanted to focus solely on Lightning.
An image of Lightning crying appeared in Riku's mind, and he naturally shook his head. "No," he told his best friend softly. "She needs her family." She needed them for a long time, and she wanted to be with them as well. He wouldn't cling to her.

Sora arched a brow slightly, surprised that Riku wasn't going to be selfish with Lightning. Regardless, now wasn't really the time to ask questions about anything. "Let's get this sorted out," he said softly, looking over at Riku. They could both find them a place to stay. After everything that happened in the past, the mayor trusted them with certain things. They could get the house and then sort things out with him later and be just fine.
"Mm," Riku hummed with a short nod. He started forward, sure that he and Sora could get everyone a place to rest. Beach condos were popular here, and there were quite a few that were vacant now. It wouldn't be too difficult.

A little while later, Serah followed Sora in through the door of the house they would be staying in temporarily. It was a lovely place, but she couldn't focus on that right now. She turned around to see the others come in, her worried eyes on her husband. He looked absolutely terrible, like everyone else did. She wished he would have handed off Lightning to somebody else who wasn't so wounded...
Snow turned in through the door, that way he wouldn't have Lightning hit her head as they walked in. He saw a couch and approached it, gently setting his sister down on the cushions, her head finding the pillow. He slid his arms out from underneath her and stood up straight, lifting a hand to adjust the hat on his head. He was exhausted, sore, and sad. Their lives were destroyed.

Serah walked over to her husband, seeing his expression after he set Lightning down. She lifted one of her small hands and set it on his back, not embracing him because she didn't want to hurt him worse than he already was. In the background, she heard Sazh explaining to his child that he was going to go rest. Dajh...he didn't understand completely what happened. She hoped that when he did, he would still be optimistic. She hoped all of them could recover from this.
Snow turned his head, looking down at the woman he loved. He smiled weakly at her. He was glad to see that she was alive and well; it was a miracle that any of them got out of Gran Pulse alive. Whatever happened, he was grateful for it.

Serah smiled weakly at her husband, and then she gently ushered him back deeper into the house so that he could rest. Serah was tired too, since she didn't sleep well in a while, but she was going to stay awake and be by his side. She'd help wherever she could.
Snow saw a bed in one of the few rooms in the condo, and he went over to it and lay down. A sigh left him at the comfort that graced his body, and he closed his eyes. He had no idea that he would miss a bed this much.
