Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

That evening

Riku knocked on the door to the condo, though he had to adjust his grip on all of the bags in his hands. There were sets of clothes in each of them, every bag marked with someone's name on them. Tonight, they were going out to dinner. They just didn't know it yet. Serah went shopping with him earlier to help him with the sizes of clothes for every person, but she left soon after to come back here while he took care of reservations and such. He had a feeling everyone would be up for the dinner; they had to be hungry.

Lightning got off the couch, leaving her family to answer the door while they continued their conversation about what the future would hold. She didn't know who would be at the door but Riku, since Sora stopped by earlier and dropped off a lot of groceries. She stopped in front of the door and pulled it open, seeing that her guess was right. "Hey."
"Hey," Riku said with a faint smile. "Mind if I come in? I've got some deliveries to make." He held up the bags in both of his hands for emphasis. One of them was even for Lightning, and he wasn't sure what she would think of it. Either way, he was sure Serah would make her wear what was in the bag.

Light arched a brow at the bags, but she did nod and step aside. "What do you have?" she asked, obviously referring to the bags. Sora had just brought by groceries earlier, so she didn't know what else they would need. Whatever Riku had, it looked like it was a lot.

"Clothes," Riku answered as he stepped inside. He immediately saw everyone gathered in the living room, and he nodded to Snow when he said hello. He set the bags down when he was out of the way of the door, grabbing the bag with Snow's name on it. "Here," he called, tossing the bag across the room.

Snow caught the bag with ease, also making sure it didn't hit his wife's head. "What's this?" he asked, digging through the bag and pulling out a shirt. He lifted an eyebrow in curiosity, looking up in time to see Riku toss a bag to Hope as well.

"I think you'll be needing these tonight," Riku said, picking up another bag and tossing it over to Sazh. His bag held both his and Dajh's clothes. There were only two bags left, one for Serah and the other for Lightning. He tossed the former to Snow. "Serah's," he told him, and the man instantly handed the bag to her. Riku picked up the last one, his eyes finding Lightning as he held the bag out to her.

Lightning arched a brow at Riku, glancing down but taking a hold of the bag. "What's tonight?" she asked, hearing others in the living room opening their bags to see what clothes were in them. She didn't look down in hers right away, not sure what to expect. Riku went clothing shopping? How did he even know what everyone liked?
"Dinner," Riku answered with a faint smile, his hand dropping to his side. He already made reservations, and the rest of his friends were up for it. It would be nice, that everyone ate together for a change. And he wasn't just talking about his group of friends; he was referring to Lightning's as well. He knew how much she missed them.

Light's arched brow remained, the young woman opening the bag and glancing in to see the pure white shirt or skirt. "Nice place?" she asked, lifting her gaze to Riku. Or did he just want another excuse to get her dressed up a little? She remembered how much he liked seeing her as the maid of honor in Serah's wedding, since she was so dolled up.
"Mm," Riku hummed with a small nod. "Our reservation is set for six." He gazed at the woman he loved, seeing that she appeared to be slightly puzzled. That was alright, though. He didn't really want her to know all of his plans anyway.

Serah saw Lightning open her mouth to speak again, but the young woman rose to her feet and reached her sister before she could speak. She grabbed her arm and gently started leading her back to the bedrooms, a smile on her face. "C'mon, Lightning. You don't have to know all the details!" she scolded, though she wasn't harsh. "Let's get you dolled up."

Light grunted at the words, being led away by her sister to the back rooms. She looked at the group in the room who were laughing at her before her eyes found her boyfriend. He knew she didn't like surprises, but...She guessed Serah was right with her not needing to know everything. Six o'clock wasn't too far off.

Riku smirked slightly, though it wasn't only of smugness; it was from adoration as well. He knew Lightning wasn't too fond of surprises, but she was fond of her family. This would be good for her. He turned to the others, making his way toward the door as he spoke. "We'll stop by before six to pick you guys up," he told them. "See you guys then."

"Thanks, Riku," Snow called with a small nod. He caught the teen smile slightly before leaving the condo, and the man only pulled the clothes out of his bag. Not bad.

A little later

"Lightning, you look gorgeous!" Serah squealed in delight, seeing her sister standing in front of the mirror in the outfit that Serah had picked out for her. It was a plain white dress with thick straps and simple grace. It was to Lightning's knees, and since Serah knew a dress was pushing it, she got flip-flops for her sister to wear instead of heels. And of course, Serah couldn't resist helping Light with her make-up and hair. Lightning looked...incredible.

Light rolled her eyes at Serah's excitement, though she had to agree with her sister. That was why she was blushing ever so slightly as she stood in front of the full-length mirror. She never would have picked this out for herself, especially since it was a dress. Nor would she have ever straightened her hair and pinned her bangs up in a tiny poof like Serah did. It actually looked good with the small amount of make-up she had on. "Thanks," she murmured to her sister. But I'm only wearing this because it makes you so happy to see me like this. She was doing this for her family.

"You ladies almost ready?" Snow called from the hall. He lingered outside the closed door, dressed in a black dress shirt and dark jeans. The sizes were perfect, which was odd since Riku was the one that brought them. Regardless, he knew the others were ready. Hope was wearing an orange polo and khaki cargo shorts, so he was ready to go as well. They were just waiting for the others to get here, and for the girls to be ready.

"Almost!" Serah called through the door, gently pushing Lightning out of the way so that she could look in the mirror. Her hair wasn't tied back in a ponytail to the side, so the long hair just fell down her back in her loose, natural curls. She wore a light grey dress that was around her knees, the spaghetti straps comfortable on her small shoulders. And of course, she wore the same necklace that she always wore. She noticed Lightning didn't have her necklace, but she didn't question it, since Riku would be arriving at any time to take them to the restaurant.
Kairi walked hand-in-hand with her fiance, following behind Riku as he led them to the condo. He approached the door and knocked, and she only smiled at how nicely he cleaned up, dressed in a navy polo and a pair of dark jeans. She'd seen him this way before, but she was sure he was doing it to look good for Lightning. At the thought, Kairi glanced down at her flip flops, white skirt, and purple top. The restaurant they were going to was a nice one, but not too fancy. She hoped she was dressed nice enough.

Sazh was the one who walked to the door, since Snow was waiting on his wife and sister in law. He didn't walk to the door fast enough, though, because his son bolted past him and reached up for the knob. He turned it and opened it, smiling widely at the people there while saying a cheerful "hello". That's my boy.
Riku blinked in surprise, though he did smile. He could practically hear Kairi cooing behind him. "Hi there," he greeted with a small smile. Dajh. Cute kid, he admitted silently. Dajh certainly looked comfortable in his clothes, so he would be able to sit through dinner pretty well. That was good.

Sazh smiled softly and walked the rest of the distance to the door, stopping behind his son and keeping his hand out of his afro because that was where the chocobo chick was. "The girls are still getting ready," he said, mostly to Riku, since he was the one who planned this. He already knew the other two, though, since Kairi helped Sora bring groceries earlier. The man stepped aside so they could come in, since he was unsure as to how long they would be waiting.

"Thanks," Riku said with a small nod, stepping inside. He heard his two friends follow as he turned his head, seeing Hope on the couch. "Ready to go?"

"Yup," Hope said, nodding. He didn't get up from his spot, though, aware that Snow was trying to get Serah and Lightning out of the bedroom still. He didn't understand what took girls so long anyway.

Serah sighed, both because of Snow's pushiness and Lightning's unwillingness to leave the bedroom. The young woman opened the door a crack and stepped out before she shut it, knowing that was the way Lightning wanted it. "Lightning's feeling shy, believe it or not," she said, looking to her husband before she looked down the hall to see Riku. "We may have to drag her out of there."
Snow sighed, shaking his head slightly. Typical Lightning, not wanting to have some fun. "Any ideas?" he asked his wife. If he had to, he would throw her over his shoulder. They couldn't be late for their reservations. But it did surprise him that she was being shy, of all things. Since when?

Serah smiled weakly, looking back to her husband. "She's mostly shy about Riku seeing her so dolled up," she said honestly. Lightning didn't care what the rest of her friends thought; only her boyfriend. She shifted her gaze back to him, wondering if he could help somehow. She wasn't sure why Lightning was so shy about being dressed up in front of Riku; it was probably just because she normally didn't wear any makeup at all, or do anything with her hair. Or wear a dress.
Snow turned his head, looking down the hall to the teen that was listening to a conversation going on between Hope, Kairi, and Sora. "Think he could get her out of there?" he asked, lifting an eyebrow slightly. Maybe he could talk her into going to dinner...

Lightning sighed, able to hear the conversation going on right outside her door. She knew it was time to go, so she had to forget about being shy and just step out. She opened the door and stepped out to see Serah's surprised expression. "What? You think I want him to know I'm suddenly shy?" she asked with an arched brow. No way.
Snow couldn't help but smile, both at the words and at Lightning's appearance. "The look on his face when he sees you will make you blush," he said in good nature. "I guarantee it." She looked great, and he was sure Riku would notice.
