Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Lightning rolled her eyes, close enough to Snow that she had no trouble punching his arm. But it wasn't one of her strong punches, and surely he knew that. She had punched him with purpose before, but this time, it was just to counter what he said. I already know I'm going to blush. I blush just at the thought of him looking at me like this.
Snow only smiled. "Good to see that you still have your manners," he said sarcastically. The punch wasn't lady-like, especially for how she was dressed, but it was Lightning. He didn't expect anything less.

Light "hmphed" at Snow's comment, smirking faintly at his humor. I missed you, Hero. More than you know. "What's a girl without her manners?" she said jokingly, briefly peeking around Snow to look towards the living room where her other friends were. But then she looked back to her sister's husband, before Riku could look over and meet her gaze.
"Impolite," Snow countered with the same smile. "Which is exactly what we're being by making everyone wait." He stepped back, waving his arm down the hallways for the girls to go on ahead. It was time they went to dinner.

Lightning caught Serah smile as she walked on ahead, but Lightning felt frozen by a second because of the shyness. "Uh, you go ahead first," she mumbled to Snow, looking up at him. He was bigger than she was, obviously. She wouldn't cower behind him, but she would appreciate that he was a better wall than he was a window as they headed over to their friends.
Snow's smile softened then, and he lifted a hand to set on Lightning's shoulder. "Relax," he told her gently. "You look great." He squeezed her shoulder before doing as she asked, following Serah down the hallway.

I know that, Lightning thought, starting to walk a few steps after Snow did. And that's what makes me nervous. She wasn't used to feeling...gorgeous. She normally wore her uniform for the Corps, didn't do anything with her hair, and never wore makeup. She knew people were used to that look, so they didn't say anything. She didn't know what others would say to this look, especially Riku.
Riku turned his head when he sensed movement to his left, the teen seeing Serah and Snow on their way out to the living room. He smiled faintly at Serah's appearance, thinking that she looked great. But if she looked that way, how would Lightning look? His smile faded as he nodded to Snow, looking forward to seeing the woman he loved.

Lightning noticed Snow turn once he was in the living room, and that left her in Riku's sight. She stopped by the doorway, briefly glancing at everyone else in the room before she looked back to her boyfriend. He had only seen her dressed up before on one or two other occasions...how would he react to this?
Riku blinked at the sight of his girlfriend, taking his hands out of his pockets. He was speechless for a moment as he turned to face her, unaware of the fact that everyone was looking at her as well. "Wow..." he said, his eyes dancing over her form. "You look...beautiful." He didn't care if Sora called him a sap for this later, because he meant it. Lightning looked amazing.

Light glanced over and down at the ground, blushing like Snow predicted that she would. "Thanks," she murmured, looking back up at Riku after a second. She wished she had bangs to hide her eyes behind, but Serah pinned those up for a change. This was definitely a new style for her.
Riku nodded slightly, though his eyes stayed glued to Lightning's form. She looked great, and he was sure he would be thinking that for the rest of the night. He vaguely heard Kairi say that they should get going, since they didn't want to be late. He blinked, glancing over at them as he nodded in agreement. Right, the reservations.

Sora held back a smirk at Riku's expression, the teen knowing that he often wore the same expression whenever he looked at Kairi. "Let's get going," he said, grabbing Kairi's hand before starting out. Only he, Kairi, and Riku knew where the restaurant was, so they would have to be at the front of the pack. Or, at least him and Kairi. He was sure Riku would probably want to be close to Lightning.
Kairi went along with Sora, glancing over her shoulder briefly to see that Riku wasn't moving yet. Of course, she thought. He wanted to be with the person he loved, especially when she looked so wonderful. Kairi smiled to herself, walking with Sora as the others started to follow them out of the house. It was time to enjoy a nice evening.

Light noticed Riku staying behind and staring at her, and that was what made her faint blush stay present. She walked over towards him wordlessly, not saying anything. She didn't really know what to say right now. She wasn't uncomfortable around him; she was just shy. She wasn't used to him looking at her like that.
Riku cleared his throat, straightening slightly. He offered out his hand. "Let's go," he said with a small smile. He wanted to show his girl off to the world. He was proud to claim her as his own.

"Right," Lightning said softly, lifting her small hand and slipping it into Riku's larger one. She looked down at their hands before she looked back up to his aqua eyes, not quite able to read what emotions were in them. But she missed the youthfulness in those eyes, so she was glad to be able to stare into them again, even if just for a second. She started walking, knowing that they had to go to dinner.
Riku walked with Lightning, leaving the condo and following their group of friends. They were a few feet behind the rest, but he was okay with that. He had Lightning to himself for the moment, and he was happy about it. He missed her...so much.

It didn't take too long for them to get to the restaurant where the others were waiting. After some introductions, the two groups blended together seamlessly, with Serah catching up with Namine (since the two met when Namine lived with Lightning). Sazh spoke to Terra, and Dajh showed off the chocobo in his hair to anybody that would pay attention to him. Seeing the two groups blend together so well...It made Lightning feel more terrific than words could describe.
Riku walked into the restaurant with the others, seeing Aqua humor Dajh when she took interest in his pet chocobo. They went to a large table set up for their party, and they all took their seats. Naturally, the couples sat next to one another, and father and son did the same. He noticed that Hope took a seat next to Ventus, probably because they were acquainted. Everyone was already getting along, which made this idea feel like it could be even more successful.

Lightning sat down beside Riku, feeling a sense of deja vu at the large table. In the future, everyone sat at a large table similar to this one, next to their apprentices. Obviously it was different tonight, but the familiarity was still strange. Regardless, she looked around and couldn't help but smile faintly at how her closest friends seemed to enjoy the company of her other friends. This is...amazing.
Roxas laughed at a joke Snow just told, the boy nearly having taken a drink of his soda. He was glad he didn't, because it would've been ugly. Despite that, the joke was quite good, and had a majority of the people at the table laughing. Everyone was finishing up their meals. Dinner had turned out to be a great idea.

Light chuckled at Snow's joke, a small smile gracing her lips as she shook her head. She was glad Snow was smart enough not to bring up any embarrassing stories at the table, because he knew what would have happened then. Lightning would have gotten up from her spot and given him a punch. Not a serious one, but still. Snow knew better than that. She was more happy that he was his usual self tonight, and so was everyone else. Everyone was happy...and alive.
Riku lifted his glass to his lips, taking a sip of his drink as he fought his chuckles. This dinner was turning out great, and he was relieved. The last time he went to dinner with Lightning, things hadn't gone well. At least things were turning out differently here.

After dinner finished up, Lightning heard some of Riku's closest friends say that they'd give Lightning's family a tour around Destiny Islands and show them the greatest areas to hang out in. There was no telling when her family would go home, so they may as well have enjoyed the world while they could. What Light wondered now, though, was if she and Riku would be joining her family for the tour or not. He was awfully quiet now that they were all standing outside the restaurant.
