Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku lifted a hand and rested it supportively on Kairi's shoulder once she came to a stop next to him and Sora. "Ready?" he asked, both to her and to Sora. This was a very important part of their mission, and a big step to its completion. He had faith in them, but it was really up to them what happened.

Kairi nodded with a small smile. "Whenever Sora is," she said confidently. She wasn't sure what she was supposed to do yet, but she remembered something Sora told her a week or so ago. Your heart will never lead you astray. It would help her with this, and tell her what needed to be done. Kairi was sure Sora's heart would do the same.

"Yeah," Sora said with a nod, still gazing at the sky. Whether he was ready or not, they at least had to give this a shot. If they couldn't figure out how to open the Door themselves, then maybe they would go to the King. Of course, Sora hoped it wouldn't come to that; he wanted Aqua back in this Realm immediately.
Riku nodded, smiling softly at his friends. "Good luck," he wished them. He took his hand from Kairi's shoulder and stuffed it back in his front pocket, starting up the beach to stand next to the shack. He needed to give them some space for this.

Sora heard Riku walking away, but he didn't bother looking at his friend. He was serious now, and a little frazzled. How was he supposed to even do this? Would this plan work? But if his heart had really led him to this point, then he was where he was supposed to be. Right?
Kairi could feel new emotions in her heart now that she paid attention, and she registered them as Sora's. She looked over at him now, and lightly set a hand on his arm. "Relax," she said with a soft smile. Everything would be fine. If they couldn't do it themselves, then they would just have to let their hearts do the work for them.

Sora looked over at Kairi, glancing down at her hand on his arm before he looked up and saw her eyes. He smiled weakly, realizing that she had sensed his nervousness. She was right when she said he needed to relax; he had learned in the past few days that if he tried too hard to accomplish something, it failed.
Kairi offered Sora the same kind smile, trying to ease his worries. She was a little nervous too, since this was a big deal. But as long as they concentrated, they could accomplish this task. She had faith.

Sora nodded slightly, a weak smile staying on his lips at Kairi's light smile. The look in his, though, said his thoughts. They needed to get started right away, just in case anything happened to either Aqua or them. This was too important to fail at.
Kairi took her hand back from Sora's arm, silently nodding. "Whenever you're ready," she prompted. It was his call when they started. She was ready when he was set to go.

"Mm," Sora hummed with a nod, which translated into "I'm ready." He turned to face forward, but then reached into his pocket and pulled out something that had led him to Aqua's armor in the first place: Kairi's charm. He held it in front of him, his eyes going down to the charm.
Kairi took a small step or two forward, her eyes still on Sora. She then let her gaze drop to the item in his hands, which instantly warmed her heart. Her talisman... Maybe it would help. The girl let her eyes lift to Sora's face again, watching him in silence to see what he would do.

Sora shut his eyes, fingering the talisman once. What am I supposed to do? he wondered, not trying to force anything at the moment. He waited for an answer from his heart, the brunet knowing that he had to follow the King's instruction and follow his heart in this matter.
Kairi kept her blue eyes on Sora's face, but she moved her hand closest to him. She grabbed his free hand on that side and wordlessly linked her fingers between his. You can do this, she thought silently. I know you can.

Sora kept his eyes shut, feeling the warmth of Kairi's hand in his. He automatically squeezed it a little bit, trying to focus. The letter Kairi sent him was one that he had memorized, and he felt like recalling it would help him open the Door again. "Thinking of you wherever you are. We pray for our sorrows to end and hope that our hearts will blend. Now I will step forward and realize this wish. And who knows: Maybe starting a new journey won't be so hard. Or maybe it's already begun! There are many worlds, but they share the same sky--One sky, one destiny."
Kairi turned her gaze away from the boy she loved, focusing her sights on the ocean. Within her, she focused on believing--believing in Sora, and believing that he could open the Door to Light again. He could do it; his heart was strong enough to call to it.

One sky...One destiny, Sora repeated to himself, feeling the warmth spreading inside his chest. Aqua was in a place that had the same sky as him, and all people had destinies that were interlinked. I'm connected to you, he thought, opening the Door to Light in a specific location in the Realm of Darkness without realizing it.
A young woman sat on the shores of the beach in the Realm of Darkness, her knees tucked up to her chest. Her arms were wrapped around them as she sat there in silence, next to a man in a hooded cloak that she didn't know. He'd given her so much news, some that she had been ecstatic to hear. Sora... That little boy she met on the beach a long time ago... He carried the Keyblade. Aqua blinked when she saw a bright light in front of her, not mistaking it for the moon. She sat up a little straighter at the sight, the light growing brighter.

The man on the beach looked at the Light growing in front of him and the girl he had just met, his eyes wider than usual underneath the hood of his coat. He had heard of this phenomenon before...the Door to the Light. But this salvation was not for him. If he was meant to leave this place, the Light would have come sooner. "Aqua, it is time for your story to continue," Ansem the Wise said to her, his gaze going to her when he spoke.

Aqua blinked at the words, glancing over at the hooded man before looking back towards the glorious light. "...What is that?" she asked softly. "So warm..." It almost felt familiar to her. But she'd been here for so long, she couldn't quite remember.

"It is a door that will lead you to your friends," Ansem the Wise said, keeping his eyes on the girl he had befriended on these shores a little while ago. He had informed her of some things, but if she walked through the Door, then she would be learning many new things and going on many new adventures. However, he had a feeling about this young woman--she was strong. She had kept her Light burning strong for so long, and she would continue to do that the rest of her days.

"My friends?" Aqua repeated quietly, mostly to herself. Ven...and Terra. Was this her time to go get them? The young woman stood up from her spot on the sandy ground, staring at the door before her. So, it was her time. But... "What about you?" she asked the man beside her, turning her eyes to him for the moment. It didn't feel right, just leaving him here.

"It is not yet my time," Ansem said, shaking his head. "The Light is your salvation; not mine. Someday, I shall find my own way to receive redemption." Until that day, though, he would remain here, on this forsaken and empty beach.

Aqua nodded once, though she smiled sadly. "Thank you, and good luck," she told the man softly. It was the least she could do as her farewell, for all the information he had given her while she was here. But now that it was her time to leave, she had a feeling she could see this man in the future...whoever he was.

From underneath his hood, Ansem the Wise smiled sadly to Aqua. "Thank you for the warm company," he said to her. "Good luck with your future endeavors." He had a feeling she would have a lot of turmoil in her life, but she would overcome it, just like he would hopefully overcome his problems and earn his place in the Realm of Light once more.

Aqua smiled a little more at the man, but then she turned toward the light before her. She exhaled a breath and readied herself for what was in her future, whatever it was. The Keyblade Master then walked forward, stepping toward the Door to Light until she was blinded by the light, leaving the Realm of Darkness after eleven long years.
