Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Okay," Sora said with a faint nod, secretly relieved that Riku agreed. He wished he could just cast Cure on himself right now and take the pain away, but he couldn't cast spells without some kind of weapon. Oh well; he would survive.

Riku lowered his hand from his stomach, offering Sora a smile before clapping his hand on his friend's shoulder. "Good job today, Sora. We'll pick it up tomorrow," he said with a nod. He then let go of Sora's shoulder and waved lightly to Kairi, passing her as he started off. "See you guys later."

"Bye," Kairi called softly, smiling a little at Riku as she followed him with her eyes. Well, that stunk. She just got here, and he was already leaving? That was a shame.

"See ya," Sora said with a nod, waving and smiling weakly at Riku as he walked away. Even if he was really sore, he was glad he asked Riku for his help. Hopefully this session, along with any others they did, would help him of he was ever in a tough situation.
Kairi saw Riku jump off the bridge instead of just walking to the shack, but then she turned back around. Her eyes fell on Sora again, and she didn't really say anything. He actually looked pretty worn out. Riku obviously didn't go easy on him.

Sora felt a gaze on him, and he automatically turned to look at the source. "Hey," he greeted Kairi softly. He hadn't seen her yet today, and it was probably 2 or 3 in the afternoon. He and Riku had been at that for hours, and that explained why he was so sore and tired.
"Hi," Kairi said with a small nod in return. "You look like you've been working hard." She tilted her head to the side, looking at him up and down. He had dirt on him in a few spots and he was sweaty. But that was expected after such hard workouts with Riku.

"Well, you know Riku..." Sora said, smiling sheepishly at Kairi. Riku always worked him hard, whether they were sword fighting, racing, or doing anything that involved competition. That was just Riku's nature.
Kairi's smile only grew at the look on Sora's face, and his reply. "Yeah," she said, lowering her sight briefly before looking up at Sora again. Riku was one that took things really seriously; sometimes she didn't know how Sora kept up with him.

Sora shrugged slightly, understanding what Kairi was thinking even if she didn't say anything. "He's a good teacher," he said. "I guess it's worth the torture he puts me through." His sheepish smile faded, though a smile still remained on his face.
"Why's he training you in that anyway?" Kairi asked, unable to help herself. Was this because of the Keyblade? Or was it simply because he just wanted the experience?

Sora's smile faded away in seriousness, and he glanced down at the ground as he tried to explain it. "It doesn't seem like I'm going to get the Keyblade back," he said softly. But then he looked up, his tone a little more optimistic. "So I thought Riku could teach me how to fight like this in case I ever got in trouble."
Kairi lowered her eyes to the ground. "...You really don't think it'll find you again. Do you?" she asked softly. She was upset at that, because she knew she was the reason why he was resorting to physical contact. That was even more dangerous...

"Right now, it doesn't seem like it will," Sora responded, looking down at the ground. He set a hand on the Paopu tree next to them before he continued speaking. "I can't live my life waiting for it, Kairi. I need to try to do something to move on." He couldn't wait for something that wasn't even guaranteed to happen.
"I understand..." Kairi said softly, looking down at her sneakers. She didn't like to hear that, mostly because she was sent to him by destiny. He was the Keyblader that was supposed to protect the Princesses of Heart, which she was. That was only one of the many reasons why she loved him, but still...

Sora blinked, thinking Kairi may have interpreted that he needed to move on from her and their relationship. He didn't mean that at all! And he was about to tell her that when his vision tilted. He gripped the tree subconsciously, looking down at the ground when he suddenly felt really dizzy. What...?
Is it that you've lost faith? Kairi wanted to ask, but she didn't say a word. She didn't really know what to say anyway. Sora wasn't necessarily giving up; he was just thinking realistically, logically. Kairi... She was the one holding onto something that had only chances of returning.

"I think I'm going to pass out," Sora said suddenly, looking down at the ground and blinking hard when he saw things start to go black. He had felt this sensation before; he knew what it was like when he was about to lose consciousness. This was definitely one of those times.
Kairi blinked, coming out of her thoughts and looking up at Sora immediately. She instantly stepped toward him and put her hands on his shoulders, bending down a little to get a look up at his pupils. "Sit down," she said gently. His pupils were huge...

Sora's eyes found Kairi, and he instantly obeyed. He kept a hand on the tree but let it slide down the trunk as he sat down on the ground. But that didn't help him. His heart was racing, he was sweating, he felt like he couldn't breathe...Not good.
Kairi lowered herself to the ground beside Sora, staying close as she became more and more concerned as the seconds went on. Sora was starting to look a little pale now, and she knew that sitting down would probably only make him feel worse. "Sora," Kairi called softly, her back against the Paopu tree's trunk. "...You should lie down." Her legs were out in front of her, and she would prefer if he lay where she could look at him more clearly...

Sora glanced over at Kairi, but then he turned his head forward and did as she instructed. He made sure to keep what grip he had on consciousness as he laid down, his head finding Kairi's lap. He shut his eyes, though he wasn't passed out just yet.
Kairi looked down at Sora in worry, lifting a hand. However, she hesitated a moment before letting her fingers brush his hair away from his forehead. She hadn't touched him much at all lately, let alone in a way that used to be so intimate between them. What would he think now?

Sora felt light fingertips against his hot forehead before he lost consciousness, his head turning towards Kairi slightly when he finally lost his grip on reality.
Kairi saw Sora's head go limp slightly, the tension that she felt in him a little starting to disappear. He'd gone unconscious. The girl only pressed her lips together, wordlessly sitting there and running her fingers through his soft spikes.

Sora was falling. He was aware the heat fading away as he felt the coolness of water surrounding him as he fell head-first deeper and deeper into the water. This feeling...It's so familiar, he thought absently, peaking his eyes open and seeing the faintly-lit water that he was sinking deeper into.
