A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Exactly," Riku said, smiling in triumph. "You love me and always have, admit it." They may have hated each other at first, but once they started getting along, he knew she was different. Lightning was his because of that, and he was proud of it.

"Hmph. I will admit nothing," Lightning said defiantly, turning to face towards the ocean. She was as stubborn as ever, not wanting to admit that Riku won the little game they were playing. And she couldn't say she always loved him, because at the beginning, she hated him. But he hadn't given her much reason to like him, either. He was pretty bratty.

Riku uncrossed his arms, stepping over and wrapping his arm around Lightning's shoulders. "Fine, I'll admit we had our differences in the beginning," he stated. "But that kiss meant something to me, even if it wasn't the best timing." His emotions got a hold on him and controlled his every move. Or was it his heart?

"It wasn't a bad first kiss," Light admitted, wrapping an arm around Riku's lower back since he was so close to her. He had kissed her pretty suddenly and urgently that first time, but after that, when they had their first real kiss...That kiss in front of the fireplace...She still remembered it so well. It was special to her. And so was the second kiss that came after that one.

"Good," Riku said with a small smile. He ran his hand over Lightning's shoulder before looking to the ocean, seeing that the sun was nearly set by now. He was glad that it wasn't bad, because that would have been embarrassing.

"You could have told me sooner that you had feelings for me, though," Lightning stated with a small smirk. The kiss was the first real sign of affection that he showed her physically. Yeah, he carried her, but she hadn't been able to walk much on her own because she felt so sick from Maleficent's magic. It was logical that he would carry her, so it wasn't a romantic gesture.

Riku shrugged slightly, keeping his gaze on the water. "I didn't really want to deal with rejection," he said, remembering back to that time. Lightning may have protected him, but he thought that was just because he was younger than her and she knew some of his past with Maleficent. And because he needed saving. Back then, he was so sure that they were civil, nothing more.

"A big tough guy like you is actually afraid of a girl saying 'no'?" Lightning asked, looking over at Riku. "That's surprising." But she probably would have been the same way. She didn't recognize her feelings for Riku until later. Maybe her heart realized it but her head didn't. She didn't quite remember what it was like to not like Riku.

"It messes with a guy's ego," Riku commented with a small smirk, looking down at Lightning. Besides, he'd never been with anyone but Lightning. She was his first kiss, but he wouldn't admit that.

"Ah. Right," Lightning said with the same smirk, looking ahead at the ocean again. That made sense, because guys often did have very large egos. It was just in their genes, she guessed. She held it against Riku every once in a while, but just for fun. She wouldn't seriously criticize him for his flaws when she had so many of her own.

Riku chuckled softly, leaning down and placing a small kiss on Lightning's head of pink hair. It was in a style he'd never seen her wear before, but she pulled it off well. She pulled off a lot of things well, he suddenly noticed. He pulled back, watching the sun go down beside his beloved.

Light turned her head and let it rest on Riku's shoulder, though she wished that she was closer to him than she already was. Just one arm around her wasn't enough, since she missed him so much. Despite all the problems that led up to this point, this moment was nearly perfect. She loved it.

Riku watched the sun go down for a few minutes, but then a question appeared in his mind at the thought of the night. "I have a question for you," he told Lightning softly, and it regarded where she would stay for the night. He was pretty sure a majority of the rooms in the condo were taken. Did that mean she could stay with him?

"Mm?" Lightning hummed softly in question, keeping her gaze on the scene in front of her. She didn't know what Riku would have a question about, since they just talked about a lot, but she supposed that she would find out in just a moment.

"A lot of the rooms in the condo are already taken," Riku explained softly. "If there isn't a bed free, will you sleep in mine?" He looked down at the person he loved, nothing but love in his eyes. He wanted to stay with her. It had been too long since he fell asleep next to her.

Light took her head off Riku's shoulder, eyes soft even if they still weren't looking at him. "...I'd like to stay close to my family," she admitted gently. It was nothing against Riku, but she really didn't want to be apart from her family right now. If he could stay with her in that house, though, she'd be very happy.

Riku wasn't too surprised at that answer, so he nodded. "Right," he said, understanding. It made sense, since she did lose them for a few weeks. He should have been more sensitive to that idea.

"But I would love it if you stayed with me, even if we just slept on the couch or on the floor?" Lightning suggested softly, looking over at Riku. "We can even make a fire and reenact our first kisses if you want." She smiled at the idea, actually finding it to be a great one.

"Heh," Riku laughed softly, shaking his head at the idea. Regardless, he looked down at the person he loved. "You continue to surprise me, and I kinda like it." He never expected to hear that from her, but he was willing to follow through with the idea. It actually did sound nice.

"Kinda like it?" Lightning repeated with an arched brow, unable to hide the faint smirk that started to appear on her lips. She hoped that he would like it a lot more than that, because it was a sweet idea. It would give her a reason to be closer to him again.

"Okay, more than kinda," Riku said with a small smile. He actually loved the idea, considering how nice it would be. He remembered how nervous he had been the night he really kissed her for the first time, but he knew he would be a lot more relaxed this time around.

"Glad to hear," Lightning said, leaning up and giving Riku a small kiss on the jaw. Her guard was down right now, and she didn't even think of the possibility of anybody watching them right now or later in the condo. If Snow caught her being a softy, he may have teased her about it.

Riku's smile only grew at the show of affection. With the way the Lighting was now, that time would come quicker than either of them expected. He could easily light the fire, though; that was one of the perks of having magical abilities.

"Do you think I could...ask for a favor?" Lightning asked hesitantly, looking back at the ocean. It may have sounded like a silly idea, but she had more reasons than one for asking it. And if Riku asked, she would explain it to him. If not, then she'd keep it to herself. It didn't matter as long as he said "yes".

"Yeah," Riku answered without missing a beat. Whatever Lightning wanted, he would give it to her. He loved her after all. He would do anything for her.
