A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

"Do you think that tonight, you could have Jasmine stay at the condo too?" Light knew that it was a strange request, but she remembered how Jasmine helped initiate their first kiss. And how she interrupted them after the second. Plus, Light loved the fun dog in general. Her family probably would too, so maybe it could get them all in brighter spirits as well.

Riku's smile turned up on one side into a smirk, and he nodded. "Sure can," he answered softly, looking out to the water. If that was Lightning wanted, he would help her out. Besides, Jasmine loved her. It wouldn't be that hard to get her over to the condo in the first place.

Light smiled softly, leaning her head on Riku's shoulder again as she hummed her thanks. She was glad that he said yes, and that he didn't make fun of her request. Having such a sweet dog in the house would be good for everyone there.

Riku turned his head slightly, setting his chin atop Lightning's pink hair. He was looking forward to tonight; it would be nice, and a good time for them to bond again. It had been a month, after all.

"...Guess now's as good a time as any to go," Light said softly without moving. They could go back to Riku's house together, get Jasmine, and then head back to the condo. There was no telling when her family would be back from their tour of the Island, but she'd worry about that later.

"Mm," Riku hummed softly. He pulled back a little, though he kept his arm around Lightning's shoulders. "Besides, I bet you're dying to get out of that dress." He smirked at the thought, knowing it was probably true. Serah told him that Lightning wasn't fond of dresses, even if she wore a skirt all the time.

"Hmph," Light hummed with a small smirk. "You mean you'd let me get out of it?" She figured that he would want her to keep it on for a little while once they reached the house, since she wouldn't be getting back into a dress anytime soon. She was surprised he would imply that she could get out of it.

"Well, I do like it on you, but it's really up to you whether you leave it on or not." Riku shrugged slightly, that being his reasoning. He would like Lightning to keep it on, since she looked amazing, but it was ultimately up to her.

"You'd prefer for me to keep it on, though," Light stated with a small shrug, not making it a question. "...Okay." She'd wear the dress longer, just to make Riku happy. It wasn't like she was going to put on a dress again anytime soon, or so she thought.

Riku released a small hum, his smile remaining as he started to lead Lightning off the beach. They'd go to his house, get Jazz, and then head back to the condo. Then it would be time for them both to relax.

It didn't take too long for the two of them to pick up Jazz and then go back to the condo, and when they arrived, it was clear that they were the first ones home. That was good, because that meant that they would have the living room all to themselves. It didn't take long for them to set the fire, and when that was done, Light sat down on the floor in front of it, still in her dress.

Riku whistled, patting his leg for Jasmine to come over to where he and Lightning were. He sat himself down beside Lightning with a small sigh, Jazz approaching a second after and getting in Riku's face. He started petting her to calm her down and get her settled. As much as he loved his dog, he also wanted to give some attention to the woman he loved.

Light smiled softly and leaned over Riku a little bit, gently rubbing the dog. She remembered perfectly that this same thing had happened before. They had just got done with a serious conversation, and then she leaned over and started petting Jazz, and that led to a kiss. A great kiss.

Riku looked at Lightning when she leaned over, and he felt a sense of deja vu coming on. He gazed at her when she was so close, even if she was paying attention to Jasmine for the moment. The way the firelight danced against her hair and the side of her face made her even more stunning, and he could only stare.

Light felt Riku's gaze on her, and she could clearly see him out of the corner of her eye because her bangs weren't blocking her view. She turned her head to look over at Riku, humming softly to question why he was staring at her so intently. Was something on his mind?

Riku's eyes met Lightning's, and he heard the hum, but he only shook his head. It's nothing, he thought silently. You're just...beautiful. How did he manage to get a girl like Lightning? He always asked himself that question, but he was glad he had her regardless.

Light hummed softly in response to Riku, her gaze going back to the dog that looked like she was about to crawl into Riku's lap to get closer to Lightning. I missed this dog, more than I thought I would. When Riku and I live together, we'll need a dog. Lightning blinked at the thought, a little startled by it. Where did that come from?

Riku kept his eyes on Lightning, seeing the sudden look on her face. She seemed...frozen by something, obviously a thought. But he wouldn't ask her about it. Instead, he looked down to his dog, who was loving the attention she was getting. Spoiled.

I...I want to marry him, Lightning silently realized, expression calming as she looked down at Jasmine. She had said before that she wanted forever with Riku, but she had never thought deeply about the privilege of being his wife. They could have a family. She never thought she would want one, because she never thought she'd have somebody to raise kids with. But Riku...She could see herself by his side. As his wife.

My kids are never gonna be this spoiled, Riku thought then, though he did surprise himself slightly with the thought. The last time he thought about kids, he had been with them in the daycare. But then again, if he did have kids, he'd want them to have what he didn't. That probably meant they would be a little spoiled, even if his mother and father were great.

Because of her thoughts, Light lifted her gaze to the young man that she was leaning over a little bit, feeling a little breathless as she looked at him. Strong, sincere, and just. And handsome, and loving, and silly at the right times. What else could I need? Riku was the man that she never thought she'd meet, the man she would have dreamed of if she was a hopeless romantic. He was the one.

Riku felt a familiar gaze on him, and he looked up to meet it with soft eyes. The look on Lightning's face made him curious, though all he did was smile. Beautiful, he thought silently. She looks good in white... The thought alone made him think of a certain event he wanted in the future, but would Lightning want the same thing?

Light smiled faintly at Riku's expression, the young woman lifting her hand off the dog and setting it on his chest instead. She didn't know what was going on inside that head of his, but he didn't know what was in hers, either. And she planned on keeping it that way, since now was no time to be talking about that topic. Right now, it was time to just enjoy picking up where they left off.

Riku felt Lightning's hand on his chest, and without a word he lifted his hand to her face, also touching her neck. He hummed softly, just looking at her. Would you ever want to marry me? he wondered silently. He never thought he would have the question in mind, but he did. And it was a great feeling.

Light kept a faint smile, leaning her face a little closer to Riku's when he set his hand on her head. She wanted to be by his side, not just now, but for forever. And "forever" wasn't a term that she used lightly. She wanted to be by his side as his lover...and his wife. She would love that more than anything else in the world.
