A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things ) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

 

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way.

 

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

 

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

 

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

 

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh?

Riku could hear the sniffing from Jasmine's nose, his trained ears picking up on it. He turned his head to the side, seeing Jasmine immediately. "What do you want?" he asked, though he was just playing. He loved this dog to death.

Light watched as Jasmine whined, moving away from Riku's face to one of his hands on the ground. The dog was strong enough to tuck her nose under his hand and lifted it up so that it moved onto Lightning's knee. It's as if...she wants us to be together, she thought, eyes going from Riku to the dog. She doesn't want any hint of fighting.

Riku looked at Lightning's knee, his hand sitting on it, before he glanced back at Jasmine. He smiled at her softly, impressed. She knows me well, he thought. He ran his thumb over Lightning's bare knee, looking up at her then. What did she think?

Light looked to Riku when she felt a gaze on her, and she "hmphed" softly in agreement. She didn't want to fight either, even if they were just being playful. She just wanted them both to smile and be at peace for a while. No hint of fighting at all.

Riku's smile remained, though it was weak. He just wanted her, he wanted his Light. If he didn't have her, he was lost. Maybe that was his future self's way of thinking, which was why he went back and got her... Maybe.

Light took one of her hands off Riku's chest, the other lingering there as she carefully laid down on her side. She put the other arm under her head as a pillow when she was laying down, the young woman facing and gazing at Riku. I love you, she thought randomly.

Because Riku's hand was on Lightning's knee when she was sitting up, when she lowered herself to be next to him, his hand lingered on the curve of her leg. He looked at her, recognizing the expression in her eyes. It only made his smile remain, the boy closing his eyes in relaxation. He loved her too.

Lightning closed her eyes when Riku shut his, a soft breath leaving her through her nose. She scooted down a little on the carpet so that when she opened her eyes, Riku's face would be right in her line of sight. But she didn't know if she planned on opening her eyes, since she was so comfortable. She could fall asleep right here.

"...You wanna know something?" Riku said softly after a moment. He had this on his mind just recently, when he was kissing her. He never said anything, though, for that same reason; he hadn't wanted to stop. But now that they weren't physically showing their affection, he could say it.

"What's that?" Light asked softly, keeping her eyes shut as she waited for Riku's response. Whenever he started off a conversation with something like that, she was never sure of where he was going to go. But she'd find out in a moment, so there was no point getting too worried over it.

Riku's smile grew a little at the thought, the young man keeping his eyes closed. "You look good in white," he told Lightning softly. There was one other instance he could think to see her in white, and that was when she would be walking toward him, as his fiance and soon to turn into his wife. He wanted that so badly....

"Mm," Lightning hummed quietly, feeling a smile creep onto her lips as her eyes remained shut. Thanks. The way that he said it made her think even more that he was the one who picked out this dress for her, since it was pure white. And if he ever went shopping for her again, maybe he would pick out more white. She would definitely need more clothes, since her home was probably obliterated.

Riku opened his eyes, seeing the smile that was on Lightning's lips. He leaned forward slightly, kissing those lips gently before pulling back. He let his hand that had been on her leg sit on his chest, just gazing at her as the fire lit up the side of her face. She was so beautiful... One day, he hoped for her to truly be his.

Light felt her smile fade after the kiss, not because she wasn't happy, but because a smile couldn't linger forever. She kept her eyes closed as her one hand sat on Riku's chest, her other arm under her head. She felt like it was time to sleep. And as long as she was with Riku, she was sure she would sleep very well.

Riku didn't have to ask; he already knew that Lightning was going to fall asleep right here. The fire provided warmth for both of them, but he was sure he would get up and get some pillows and a blanket later. He would have to stay up to make sure the others didn't wake her, too. He had a lot of thinking to do, anyway.

"Hey, Riku?" Light whispered, keeping her position the same as she spoke to him. She just remembered that she had something to say to him before she fell asleep by his side. It was important to her that she said it, so that he knew what her feelings were about a certain topic.

"Yeah?" Riku asked, his eyes still resting on his beloved. Whatever she had to say, he would listen. With her, he would always be willing to listen.

Light opened her eyes and looked at Riku, a weak smile appearing on her lips. "Thank you for tonight," she said softly, referring to dinner and everything. Seeing her family that happy again, being with them in general, and having her two circles of friends meet...All of it meant the world to her.

Riku's lips spread into a small smile, and he nodded ever so slightly. "Anytime," he whispered. Light deserved it, after all she went through and after all he put her through. She deserved some happiness.

Lightning hummed softly at Riku's response, a small smile still on her lips as she gazed at him. She liked being able to see him without her bangs being in the way, but she wasn't going to wear her hair back like this again. Most of the time, she liked that her bangs hid her eyes, even if it obstructed her vision to the eyes that she loved. She leaned closer to Riku and gave him a small kiss on his jaw, holding the position for a second or two.

Riku closed his eyes at the gentle kiss, a small hum leaving him. He had done that to her earlier, but he always loved her kisses more. Hopefully we'll have the rest of our lives together...to feel that affection. He at least hoped so.

Light pulled back to her previous position after a few moments, her eyes finding Riku's face. She smiled softly at his expression, the young woman fighting the urge to shake her head. You're pretty easy to please. She just gave him a single kiss and he was that happy. It was nice to see.

Riku opened his eyes to look at the woman he loved, his smile remaining. If Lightning fell asleep now, he would see her at dawn. He couldn't imagine how tired she was, after all she went through, but he would be here. He wasn't leaving her tonight.

Lightning took her hand off Riku's chest, moving it to grasp Riku's hand that was on his torso. She wordlessly brought it closer to her, the young woman setting it on her face in silence. She wanted him closer, clearly. And she wasn't shy about admitting it.

Riku's smile only grew, the young man running his thumb over Lightning's face with the position it was in. He loved her, he really did. He was looking forward to the future. Their future.
